- Karoline (10/5): - De ligging van het huisje en de mooie tuin. De keukenfaciliteiten. Iets opwarmen gaat prima, een maaltijd bereiden is een uitdaging ivm ruimte en apparatuur.
- Gerald (8/5): Great property in the Dales - Location was outstanding Would like a more comfortable large couch for lounging
- Pam (7/5): Perfect location, warm and comfortable! - Location was superb! Needs updating and housekeeping standards need improving.
- Cox (6/5): I needed a short break due to illness and this was a suitable short stay location - Location was good.
Secure area for dogs.
Plenty of places to eat and visit if you are not a walker The electric oven was in adequate for anyone wishing to cook temp control is not accurate.
I appreciate that our stay was late Feb but the Garden was neglected could have been tidier..
The sofa was very uncomfortable.
Most of the crockery was chipped
- Lesley (10/5): Fantastic and authentic - It was so cozy and cute. We’ve been to Settle a few times but never stayed at a cottage, really enjoyed the experience. I specially enjoyed the log burner. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great. The location was perfect to walk to the town centre, we missed doing a few walks but we will be back! N/A
- Keith (9/5): A cosy cottage in a central location - Great location very close to town centre, shops and places to eat. The cottage was very quiet and cosy. We stayed in winter, but the garden looks a nice place to sit out on warm evenings. A very comfortable stay for a couple. Everything was fine.

- Paula (10/5): Cosy, homely cottage with everything we needed. - Location, coziness Nothing
- John (6/5): Pleasant. - Good location. Parking very tight for any car that is not a small hatchback and next door neighbours are curtain twitchers who were out several times to complain that my Audi A6 was too large for the parking space.
- Fionnbarr (9/5): - A little gem, cosy and old style with a small but lovely wild garden. Clean and spacious and dog friendly. The village very easily accessible on foot. PARKING!!! While there is parking outside the property it is only suitable for a v small car. This should be highlighted at the time of booking and alternative arrangements suggested.
The booking service. While not the fault of the owner the booking service used is very intrusive and outside of this site. They charged a third as soon as we booked, despite us booking well in advance with free cancellation. Their on line check in looked for far too much detail, including insisting on separate contact details for my wife
- Faye (7/5): Ok stay, with a few issues... - The location was good, there is enough to do in Settle and you have buses and trains to take you a bit further into the dales. The cottage was big enough for two people. We arrived to cobwebs across the door and snail/slug trails through the lounge. When we discussed this with the external booking Company, and sent pictures, they advised someone had been to the property that day and it must have happened since they left. However, based on the amount of trails throughout the front room it would have at least been there a few days. We felt it was a bit run down and someone probably hadn't been in it recently and just not worth what we paid. Additionally, there wasn't a large amount of basic amenities and the soap provided had only a few washes in it so we needed to buy more. For the cost of the property we expected a bit more.We also were disappointed there was no recycling bin, they advised this was due to the size of the property and to take recycling to a dump however we did not have a car so this was not an option. A bin could've been put outside for recycling.
- Beverley (10/5): Comfortable cottage and lovely town - Very central location
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amelia (9/5): Typical cosy Yorkshire cottage, just what we wanted. - Beautifully cosy cottage with huge character! The log burner was great to settle down by in the evening. Absolutely in love with the kitchen! Perfect for a short stay and great that it’s just off of the high street! There is space to park your car outside the property but depending on how confident a driver you are, you may find it a little hairy as you need to mount the curb. Alternatively, you can park at Greenfoot Car Park for £2.80 overnight, at about a 7 min walk away.
