• Karen (1/5): terrible - door code supplied, but confusing to get in The apartment was in very poor shape and a bed was broken, old items in the fridge and broken light fittings. This was reported to Booking and the owner has lied about the situation and said i had broken items. It is a disgraceful out rage that people like this let properties, i will not be using booking again as they let people like this use the site. The bed was broken, and reported just after we arrived, broken light fittings, mould on the other bed, and out of date food items in the fridge. It was unclean and now the owner is trying to blame me, total disgrace.

• Purity (7/5): I felt robbed off my money, I can not recommend a family to book for a stay. - The location was perfect. The place was clean The beds are too small for two to share. The sofa is too small to be used like a bed. I was with my husband and my two boys and that was terrible for the two boys to sleep.

• Donna (10/5): Fantastic! - What a lovely apartment, in a great location. Host was really helpful on mails beforehand. Free parking was great in city centre along with the little touches like the cotbed and even some building bricks for the little one. Was sad to only spend one night!!
• Perri (9/5): Superb - Locate. Clean comfortable apartment. I work away a lot and use hotels and apartments constantly. I'm getting used to a greeting pack... at least some milk for a cuppa! But to be fair if that's all I missed, can't really complain. But it is nice to get a welcome pack!
• Tim (7/5): comfortable place for a short break - Close to city centre. Clean. Comfortable. Provided a good base for a short break. communication with the owners was good. The shower ran hot and cold, which was a bit annoying. The bathroom sink ran away very slowly and probably needs the u-bend cleared out. The apartment is right next to a busy road junction so the early traffic is a bit noisy. The parking area is limited and was full when we arrived so I parked in the gated carpark that opens from the rear of the property, assuming that was the thing to do. It wasn't and I had to wait for someone to exit the carpark and follow them out before the gate shut.

• Janice (8/5): Good value - The location is brilliant. The host was excellent she allowed us to enter the flat early, and her instructions on how to find the key were spot on. The parking is very tight, but being so close to the centre of Chester and free was amazing. Being next to a main road, we did find it noisy. The apartment block is a bit crubby at the entrance and in the hallway, but the apartment itself was clean and had everything you would need during your stay. Nothing really. Wifi not great but not a problem. Busy road which was a bit noisy but totally expected in a city centre.

• Stuart (9/5): Superb - Amazing location with parking. Everything was within walking distance due to central location which is just perfect. Great bathroom and shower. Really great value for money. Amazing host with really prompt replies to enquiries. Good WiFi. Secure door entry. Great for shorter stays, maybe needs a washing machine for longer stays. Overall for a city break you won't find better for the price and Chester is just gorgeous. One mattress was slightly lumpy in the smaller room. Lots of road noise due to location but that can't really be helped.
• Hayley (6/5): Pleasant - Location was excellent. Main bedrooms were comfortable. The host was quick at responding. I was expecting to have a dedicated parking space as the apartment was advertised with parking and was why I booked it. We arrived late to find that there wasn't dedicated parking and all the spaces were gone. We had to park on double yellow lines and move in the morning, which was ok but quite stressful. Parking spaces themselves were extremely tight. The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable and we only had plates for 4 people and we'd booked for 5. Some random equipment in kitchen which I can't see being used. A basic cafetiere would have been nice.
• Sheila (9/5): It was an excellent stay. The section above was for the host. Just small changes that would make 10 - The location was excellent. The bus station was close so you could get the hop on hop off bus very easily. The City of Chester was beautiful, so much to do. I would recommend the hop on bus and the river cruise. A mirror in the small bedroom would have been good, over the sockets for drying your hair and somewhere in the bedroom to put your suitcase on. There wasn't enough towels and the towels provided were very small.
• Cavill (8/5): Great holiday, good place to stay, would use again - Well Located, host was easy to contact and responsive. Had all the facilities we required for our stay. We could walk to the city walls in 5 minutes & the bus station is even closer. The proximity to the busy road may be an issue for some, it did not bother us, if you don't want traffic why visit a city?

• Anonymous (10/5): Great base to enjoy Chester Christmas markets - The property was ideally located for access to Chester. Only a few minutes walk and we were in the city centre. As we were two couples it was great value for money as hotel rooms were over £100 each A lot of thought had gone into the property we brought a number of items with us expecting to beef them eg towels washing up items tea coffee etc. This was all provided together with everything you could need. It was a proper home from home.
• Owen (7/5): Good - The location was ideal, 5 min walk to the city centre. Spacious apartment. Off road parking. The kitchen was in a bit of a mess, with random things in drawers and cupboards. Parking a bit difficult at times, when other cars parked where they weren't supposed to.

Good instructions of how to find the building and pick up keys from keybox If you like a really dark bedroom, then this is probably not the place for you. The apartment is located on a main road and although there are blinds at the window, street lamps outside shine through. If you like to have an open window, then expect it to be noisy.

Especially cleaning spray was also in the cupboard to wipe down counter and table. Owner had kindly left some snacks and milk etc in the fridge which was very handy as we arrived late in the evening. Location and street noise early morning was the only issue

The price was good value and the host could not have been more helpful or responsive. Only one fault which was the road noise. Being mid summer the windows needed to be open but the road noise disturbed the ability to get a good nights sleep!

• Alison (10/5): Great Central Location - Roomy apartment that was decorated nicely throughout and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were a good size with sliding glass door wardrobes in one of the bedrooms. We had a dyson fan too as it was very hot. A 5 min walk to the town centre was a bonus, so was very central. The host put decorations up for my friends 60th birthday along with a cake, candles, prosecco and a card. A very lovely and thoughtful thing to do indeed. Thankyou Luisa we will definitely be back. Nothing.

Comfy beds and great facilities. - Great location to access the city centre and didn’t need to rely on transport as it was walking distance about 10 minutes into town but right by the bus station if you wanted to travel further afield. Nothing.

Kitchen is fully equited The wall and the old town is literally in doorstep.(2 minutes walk) Highly recommended this flat for booking. If we ever come to Chester again we will book this flat again. (Which is not listed but available:travel cot,hair dryer,hair straightener, netflix account,dog cage ,dog bowl ,towels)
