• Robin (8/5): serene location for a great holiday. - spectacular views and right in the middle of the area we came to visit. Quiet, comfortable and clean with everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Kylemore. lighting in the kitchen

Location is incredible as you have a lake view and you're 3 minutes away from Kylemore Abbey. The property is pet friendly and have a variety of games and movies you can watch if you decide to stay in.

• Chloé (10/5): Superbe séjour à Kylemore - Le logement est très spacieux et très bien équipé (avec machine à laver, sèche linge...). Il est situé à quelques minutes de Kylemore et d'un lac, le cadre est idéal. L'entrée se fait de manière autonome, et il y a de la place pour se garer. Rien à dire

• Carine (10/5): Excellent emplacement - The guest wing est une maisonnette indépendante accolée au B&B de Kylemore House. C'est un appartement indépendant et très grand pour 5 personnes. Les 3 ados avaient chacun leur lit. La salle à manger est vraiment très grande. Les clefs étaient directement sur la porte quand nous sommes arrivés. Le logement est à 5 minutes de toutes les activités: Kylemore, Diamond Hill et Killary Sheep. Vraiment pratique. Rien tout était parfait.

Superschön war die tolle Lage direkt am Kylemore Lough und an der N 59 zwischen Letterfrack und Killary Fjord (keine 10 Autominuten von der Kylemore Abbey entfernt). Gute Raumaufteilung für Familien mit großer, gut ausgestatteter Küche. Großer Tisch & gemütliche Couch im Wohnzimmer/Küche. Zwei Badezimmer/Toiletten mit ordentlichen Duschen. WLAN vorhanden. An dieser Unterkunft gibt’s nichts auszusetzen.

Bis Kylemore Abbey waren es maximal 10 Minuten Fahrzeit. Die Wohnung bietet sehr viel Platz, drei Zimmer und zwei Bäder. Sie war für unsere Gruppe ideal. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, befindet sich in einem guten Zustand und bietet alles, was man nur brauchen könnte. Die Vermieterin war auch sehr nett und hat sofort auf Fragen reagiert. Insgesamt war diese Unterkunft die schönste von allen, in denen wir in Irland waren.

• Steve (10/5): A great value nd quality short term stay on Kylemore Lake - The guest wing at Kylemore House is a great little find. A quality furnished and fitted out apartment right on the lake. Plenty of kitchen equipment and modern feel to the apartment. Heating was excellent. Bathroom was very good with plenty of hot water pressure. Best of all, take some time out in the afternoon and morning to have a cuppa sitting on the lake side. Better still, take a plunge in the lake off the boat shed if you’re feeling courageous - it was little chilly!

• Johan (8/5): Nice getaway for two nights. - Really good location. The place was clean and fully equipped. Excellent host and communication was great. Place was comfortable and warm. It didn’t have a bath and very limited views. It’s more of a ‘back of house’ cottage. The pictures on Booking.com were a bit misleading making you think it’s part of the main manor.
• Keith (10/5): Excellent apartment in fab location. - Good sized apartment, with all you could need in it. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, coffee machine and pods, and nice touch with milk in the fridge with some biscuits. Loads of towels and rooms all with plenty of space. Close to both Letterfrack and Leenaun which has good pubs/restaurants and Kylemore Abbey just down the road.
• M (8/5): West Wing Large Apartment, Great size for a family/Group - Size of Guest Wing is really spacious, large high roofed ceiling in kitchen/lounge area so its perfect for a larger family or group of up to 6 adults (2 doubles, 2 singles). 3 spacious bedrooms which were clean and comfortable. 2 bathrooms with large walk in showers. Showers are really good.Fridge had fresh milk and biscuits but there were also cleaning bits, oil, sugar, cling film, bags and every utensil you can think of in the kitchen so it was perfect for eating in if you were to stay for the week. Great for a night in with kids, every dvd you can name was there and there was some board games too. Great view of the lake across the road. Owners are lovely to talk to and they own a takeaway place up the road where you can get a discount on food. Location is not in the town so you need a car but Letterfrack is 10 mins away and its a good spot for exploring south and north of the coast. Kylemore Abbey only 3 mins down the road. Beautiful part of the country with amazing scenic views. The house smelt musty, which is common for older builds down this area. It could effect someone with asthma or allergies to dust mites even though its well clean on appearance. I would recommend owner airing it out before guests arrive and maybe setting the heat to come on as it took a while for the place to heat up.

• Trisha (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect, the accommodation was fantastic. Very spacious, clean and so comfortable. A home away from home. Janet was fantastic for keeping in touch. We arrived in the evening and there was chocolate biscuits, tea and milk waiting for us and a voucher for pizza if we wanted it. It's a hidden gem We couldn't fault the accommodation, our host or the location. Everything was spot on.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms / toilets. Overall the apartment was very clean and tidy. We lost our way a bit but Janet was very helpful and guided us to the location. The scenery outside the house was absolutely beautiful and Kylemore Abbey was just two miles away. Nothing

• Ivan (8/5): A great find. Loved it. - Wonderfully spacious and spotlessly clean. All kitchen utensils provided. Nothing was lacking. 3 big spacious bedrooms, 2 doubles and 1 twin. My bed was deliciously comfortable and I loved the crisp white cotton bed clothes and soft white fluffy towels. It felt more like sleeping in a high class hotel. The location is magical overlooking the lake. There's a small petrol station shop a short walk away and a decent sized grocery store in Letterfrack village which is open every night until 10pm. If you enjoy cooking then the kitchen has everything you need and I liked that basics such as cooking oil, salt, pepper and chilli powder were provided. There's a picnic bench outside where you can dine alfresco but beware of the midges (we were eaten alive). You can buy insect repellent in the village shop, but we only had a problem with the midges beside the woods and not closer to the lake. It's a great base for touring the area and lovely to come back to each evening and relax with a bottle of wine. Nothing really. Just beware of the midges at the picnic bench beside the woods (probably not an issue in the cooler months).

• Jennifer (10/5): We loved our relaxing stay in this beautiful apartment, surrounded by a picturesque landscape. - This beautiful guest house is spacious, comfy, and has everything you need for cooking meals. Location wise it’s perfect for day trips around the Connemara area, though you don’t need to venture more than a few feet to take in the beauty of Kylemore Lake. As an added bonus, we loved that it has a dryer to accompany the washer, as we found many accommodations in Ireland do not have dryers. It was easy to communicate with the owner, who was super responsive and provided great local recommendations. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Nice bathrooms, stocked kitchen (spices and necessities), good sized rooms and bedrooms. We even went swimming in the lake. Very cold but super fun. Janet, the owner, was very communicative and helpful. Not sure what it is with all the beds in Ireland, but every place we stayed (this one included) has rock hard mattress. Other than that, no complaints.

• Judith (8/5): Comfortable apartment in Kylemore to use as a home base for exploring Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, and the W - Comfortable and relaxing apartment with a beautiful view.. The three bedroom apartment had a well-supplied kitchen, as well as a washer, dryer, and dishwasher. The hosts were gracious and flexible about check-in. Wonderful area for exploration. The property is undergoing renovations, so the overall impression was different than expected. The apartment where we stayed was great, but the property will be more inviting when the renovations are completed.
• Liam (9/5): Lovely self-catering accommodation in a fantastic location. - Wonderful scenic location looking directly across the road to Kylemore Lake. Circle K garage with small shop within walking distance. Letterfrack and Kylemore Abbey less than 10 minutes away by car. Guest wing has been recently renovated to a high standard. Only one room in the Guest Wing enjoys lake views. Others look out to ongoing building work.
