Guest Reviews
- Carole (8/5): - Well equipped & comfortable apartment. There was a problem with the shower head holder & it was replaced really promptly the next morning. Robyn was lovely to deal with regarding this issue. Kitchen crockery & cutlery could have done with being a bit cleaner. We had to wash some pieces before using. Also, there were not complete sets of bowls or glasses but this was a minor issue which we worked round
- Kerry (10/5): -
- Michael (9/5): Great value - Well appointed, quiet, warm and comfortable and a 15min walk to the hospital (which was why we were visiting Gateshead).
- Liam (9/5): - It was a very well maintained property with some nice touches such as Xmas decorations which showed attention to detail Nothing of note
- Colebrook (10/5): - Easy to get too,Christmas decorations in the property and comfy beds.
- Jade (10/5): - A live this full place was lovely quiet area
- Linsey (9/5): Very Pleasant stay :) - Property was great for our needs. Easy check in / check out. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Pleasant decor. All the facilities you could need. Very quiet location, but within easy distance of the city and Metro. Plenty of eateries about the area. Very steep steps into the property (I walk with a stick, but I didn’t see this mentioned prominently in the listing) and creaky floorboards! Not really surprising in a house of its age though, but it made us very conscious of disturbing our downstairs neighbour!
- John (9/5): Nice quiet location with parking. -
- Stefan (8/5): Schönes Appartement in ruhiger und verkehrsgünstiger Lage - Der Grundriss und die Lage mit Ausblick aufs Cricketgelände, die gute Busanbindung und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, The Three Tuns, ... -
- DAVID (9/5): Well kept, well equipped apartment in a quiet area of town. -
- Daynon (10/5): -
- Colin (8/5): - Location was great as it was very close to family. The size of the flat was perfect and very spacious. As we were there for just over 2 weeks there was not enough storage for clothes. Also it would have been nice to have a clothes dryer.
- ANDREA (10/5): -
- Brenel (8/5): Very good - Nice apartment. The second bedroom could do with black out blinds/curtain similar to the master bedroom as it was summer it was light early on which unfortunately woke us up and could not return to sleep.
- Lorna (5/5): Convenient, comfortable but not the best - Place, view, decor & space. It needs some TLC. Paintwork marked by the door, drawer front in the cupboard falls off, timer on the microwave didn’t work, filthy air fan in bathroom and thick dirt behind the radiator and along the bathroom skirting boards. Wall sockets for use eg lamp, phone charger, wrong end of the bedrooms meaning you have to find your way to bed in the dark. Fire detector was open displaying a lack of batteries and carbon monoxide detector not working. All these details were sent to the owner with no response to date.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (10/5): Family visit - This was booked for family travelling from London. They really enjoyed their stay. They lived the apartment and location especially being quiet N/A
- Justin (8/5): Very good - Location
- Craig (9/5): Very happy and good service. - Central to Low Fell in a quiet area. Spacious and quiet.
- Brendon (9/5): Nice, clean and well kept. Quiet area - Very cosy. Great facilities. Very well looked after. Not much.
- Claire (10/5): Our stay was perfect for what we needed and the owner was very accommodating, thank you so much we would definitely stay - Perfect location and a very good size, we had everything we needed and more. The doors were stiff
- Katherine (10/5): Spacious, clean, great location - Property had everything needed. Great location Nothing
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (10/5): Very good, would stay again. - Very spacious, and no problems with parking. Some larger oven dishes would be helpful. There was nothing to put a pasta bake into.
- Joanna (8/5): Very good -
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Marjory (8/5): Very good - The apartment was lovely, beds comfortable and was in a nice residential area. Shops were a 10/15 mins walk away and the area was a little hilly. Few basic essentials in the apartment
- Natasha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chantelle (8/5): Very good -
- Lloyd (7/5): Good - Unfortunately the heating and hot water went off on Sunday we didn't leave until Monday morning.
- Brian (8/5): Very enjoyable experience. - It is a rented apartment and is very well equipped, even a washing machine.
Beds were comfortable, flat was warm.
Very quiet location.
Suited our needs. Would have appreciated some leaflets re local amenities restaurant's, takeaways etc.
- Catherine (9/5): Beautiful little home away from home - A really spacious flat, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The beds were really comfortable and you could drown in the shower it is so powerful. The flat is opposite a local sports ground so it's a really quiet spot and only 15 minutes walk from saltwell park. The blinds in the bedrooms don't do anything to stop the light so the rooms are very light in the mornings
- Rob (8/5): A nice place to stay very clean and good facilities would recommend - Very clean apartment, good facilities and good communication from the owner.
Also appreciated the private off-road parking
We were visiting relations in Lowfell, so the location of this apartment was ideal being only 10 minutes walk away.
The property is opposite a cricket pitch so pleasant open views from the lounge Nothing we didn't really like, but suggest some more storage for clothes in the twin bedroom would be useful.
