• Dawn (9/5): Lovely place, excellent views, overlooking the lake. Would highly recommend. - We found the property lovely presented and clean, very welcoming. Everything we needed for our one night stay. The host was very friendly, and helpful, for directions and accessing the property.
• Annette (10/5): - Quiet, upper part of the town overlooking the lake. Very clean, light & spacious with a little table outside for lakeside view. Roadside parking available & property is nestled down some cobbled steps. Fantastic communication & check-in instructions. Very helpful & friendly with lovely local neighbours. 10 min walk down into main town, ferry port & local restaurants. But it is steep road/steps & uphill back! The bed wasn’t very comfy & would have liked extra pillows & larger shower towels. But overall a wonderful place to stay.
• Jacobson (9/5): - Lovely clean accommodation. The location was amazing. Very close to the property is a long stone path which takes you down to the lake and surrounding restaurants. It was extremely hard to find the property. When we arrived at the train station there was no bus or taxi to get there and walking with luggage would have been impossible. We were really lucky that a couple of lovely ladies gave us a lift. Even they struggled to find the property. The host should assist visitors to get to the property if they are not driving, by providing taxi details in advance.

• IHOR (10/5): - Понравилось расположение домика, вид из окна. Есть сковродки, кастрюли, можно самостоятельно приготовить вкусную еду. В доме очень тепло, приятно пахнет и очень уютно. Хозяева быстро отвечают и заботяться об уютном пребывании гостей. Мы бы ещё вернулись в этот домик, но заняты места, что говорит про качество. Рекомендуем на все 100 -

• Marie- Luise (4/5): Der Comer See ist ein empfehlenswertes Reiseziel, aber dieses Quartier war leider eine Enttäuschung. - Das Quartier war feucht und kalt. Wir fühlten uns an eine Kellerwohnung erinnert. Wir haben regelrecht gefroren, weil die Klimaanlage angestellt war und rund um die Uhr kalte Luft ausblies. Wir haben sie nicht ausschalten können. Es waren keine bequemen Sitzmöbel da, nur 2 Eisenstühle am Küchentisch. Außerdem war die Wohnung sehr dunkel. Die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr dürftig. Die Parkmöglichkeit war nicht sicher, sodass wir uns nicht getraut haben, das Auto am Wochenende zu benutzen. Positiv ist zu erwähnen, dass Claudia sehr gut zu erreichen und bemüht war. Fazit: Der Comer See ist ein empfehlenswertes Reiseziel, aber dieses Quartier leider nicht.

Communication with Claudia was excellent, she gave us many recommendations for restaurants, taxis, places to visit etc. Claudia went the extra mile to ensure there was a bottle of wine and some fresh fruit and decorations for my partners birthday, and she amazingly drove an hours round trip to drop off our passports after we left them there after we checked out. Couldn’t ask for a better host and a more well kept apartment in a great location

• Annemarie (8/5): A nice place to stay for one or 2 nights. - Great shower, good bed and nice views. Helpful owner. Very basic kitchen equipment could have more appliances/accessories. It really was a one bedroom apartment without comfortable chairs

Die Unterkunft riecht leicht muffig, was vermutlich daran liegt dass es permanent feucht ist. Das wurde versucht mit Raumduft zu übertönen. Die Bettwäsche und alles war durchgehend leicht feucht. Keine guten Parkmöglichkeiten.

• Viktoria (10/5): - clean, comfortable, nice owner and neighbors, everything was very nice. there are all the amenities for cooking, they also left us some snacks, which was very nice 😊 for us it was not a problem, however it is very humid in the room, so much so that even dry things became damp. Also on the way to the apartment there were a lot of stairs, and if you have big suitcases, it may be difficult for you.

• Luiza (10/5): Amazing!! - Everything about this accomodation was great! First of all, Claudia gave us all the info with everything we needed to know before arriving, so we could easily check in and find the location. The room was very tidy, the heat was turned on before we arrived so inside it was the perfect temperature, Claudia left for us some goodies like coffee pots, tea, water, chips etc, the bathroom was clean, the shower amazing with good water pressure, and the sofa was surprisingly comfortable! The only reccomandation I have for the people visiting this area, and especially Bellano is to have some comfortable shoes on because the road from the train station to the house is mostly climbing and with luggage it can be a bit tiring and it takes about 20-25 mins to arrive

• Valerio (10/5): Pretty good value for money in a quite spot - Property is really cozy and everything is brand new, or at least it’s kept as brand new. Sofa bed was pretty good to sleep in, even for a big boy like me, only thing I do not understand is why not putting a proper bed in the room considering that there is plenty of room
• Lucy (10/5): The perfect base to explore Como - A great apartment for our stay in Bellano. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable (best 4 nights sleep we had our whole trip!). The apartment makes great use of space, all the necessary amenities in the kitchen. The shower pressure was brilliant, there were hooks to dry our towels properly, a hairdryer, and small shower gels provided. The access to the apartment is down a pedestrian lane way and is very private, there’s a small patio and bench beside the front door (with a slightly obscured lake view). Window shutters and a double front door make the place very secure. The walk to Bellano centre takes less than 10 minutes, some great options for food and drinks (our favourites were Taverna Malanotte for food and Bar Centrale for casual drinks). It’s about 15 minutes to the train station, there are regular trains to Varenna, which run pretty late so we were able to eat there one evening too and return after dinner without hassle. The ferries are also quite regular. We preferred that Bellano was not as busy/touristy as the other lake towns (Varenna, Bellagio, Menaggio), it was a relief after our days exploring. We had the best time staying in this apartment and Claudia went out her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She was incredibly responsive and helpful :)
• Eden (9/5): Excellent place !!! Would stay again! - Claudia was super responsive and helpful the whole trip! Location was great for us and the place had everything we needed! Was super clean and comfortable. Loved it and would stay again. It was a 15 min walk mostly uphill from train station which was fine for us but might need to be considered if anyone is not able to walk up hill. Busses run but not regularly. Bellano location is great to access other places too!
• Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional - It is located about 15 minutes from Bellano center, where you can get into ship and travel to another cities. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. It is perfect for short stay in Bellano. There is a free parking on the street. The host is great, she quickly answers any questions. Close to the apartment there’s great restaurant - Taverna Melanotte. You have to go there if you want authentic Italian experience.
