• Kooi (9/5): Easy parking - We like the property as we feel like staying at home instead of hotel. The parking is just next to the property. We drive so the parking is important to us. The sliding door near the garden is unable to lock. Owner still not fix the problem. We have to tie the door with a rope for our 2 nights stay. And the kettle is dirty, owner should change a new one. Anyway, it was not a problem. I will still give them a good rating as I am satisfied with the most.
• Tei (10/5): Stress free and fun! - We all enjoyed our stay and mentioned to each other how nice the property was and the comfort of the beds. Host was polite and easy to talk to when needed with clear instructions. Free parking in an area like this was a huge plus. If I revisit the area will definitely look to stay here again in the future!

The house itself is spacious and warm with all the facilities listed. Some areas would benefit from some maintenance attention, the hosts have already taken note of these as they were quick to reply to messages.

• Jason (10/5): Fabulous - Hosts were responsive and friendly. onsite parking, great location, clean, warm and cosy There was nothing that we didn't like, however maybe an additional pillow and a bit more kitchen equipment (pots and pans but only as we were there for Christmas)
• Tracy (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely, cozy house within walking distance from the centre. We travelled for our Daughter’s graduation. Lovely to all stay together rather than in separate rooms of a hotel. Would have been nice to have an upstairs look, but appreciate that this is not a possibility. Fabulous to have a ground floor bedroom for my parents who are not as mobile as they once were.
• Chelsea (9/5): Delightful weekend - Lovely, clean house in a perfect location. We were also able to add our dog to the booking last minute.
• Kerry (9/5): Very pleasant cottage at a reasonable price - Lovely property, close to the city centre. Stayed here while attending a family wedding. Had everything we needed Would have been nice to have information on how to work the central heating, but we worked it out in the end. Not sure where the dust bin was, so took our rubbish home with us. If staying here for a short city break it would be nice to have some tourists information and information on local amenities.
• Romy (9/5): We had a wonderful stay in Martingale cottage and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. We found it excellent value for money - A beautiful, spotlessly clean house with modern furnishings and fittings. The house was cold downstairs and we couldn’t work out how to turn the heating up. Some champagne flutes would have been nice as we were celebrating a 50th birthday. There is no bottom door shelf in the fridge. The last two points are very minor though and didn’t affect our stay in any way. Just points that might be helpful for future guests.
• Catherine (10/5): Excellent and efficient. - Location. Spacious kitchen diner and outside space along with easy and efficient check in. Only one parking space. We were two couples. But understood that there were a lot of different accommodations in a confined space so parking limited.

Recommend - The whole stay was amazing - I booked this place for a friends birthday treat and I would absolutely stay there again - Already looking at booking again next year for another stay. The ease of gathering information before arrival and picking up the keys and finding out where to park surprised me. We all know these are the bits that can be a bit daunting if you don't know the area. Super speedy replies - Messages were picked up and returned almost immediately. I like to double check information and so this was great to see. Also a very friendly vibe, nothing seemed like too much trouble. I even asked for early check in and they were very quick to reply and give me options. The process to amend check in time was super simple and speedy. The place was spacious, well styled and the sofa's and beds were so comfortable - I didn't want to leave. Defiantly made the stay worth it. Very clean - Didn't see one thing out of place or below par on arrival - Very impressed! Must have a great cleaner The location was so handy - only 10 min walk to town centre. Perfect location for what we needed! Value for money was perfect for the budget we were on - We wanted a nice treat but didn't want to spend a fortune. As two mums that wanted a break for the weekend and to celebrate a birthday - The place was the perfect fit for us to spread out and have some peace and quiet but be able to get to the restaurants and town throughout the day. Im so glad we booked it! The gazebo wasn't up in the garden as shown in pictures when we got there so we couldn't use the garden as much as we thought as it was raining all day - which was a shame but I understand these things happen.
