• Paul (10/5): We had a great stay in San Miguel. The location of the apartment was fabulous. We were able to walk and go out to eat an - The property wasn’t a great location with central to everything on the island. The apartment was very comfortable for five adults. And ivory amenity and convenience imaginable. We are all able to eat several meals inside, which was very nice. The apartment was modern, comfortable. We really enjoyed our time here. Even mine are conveniences, such as Suzu’s and charging cords were available in the apartment. We would highly recommend this place.

• Olaf (10/5): - An Absolutely Stunning Stay with Unbeatable Views! This apartment is truly beautifully and modernly renovated, and homely furnished, there was even an electric massage pad (or whatever you call them) available. Located on the 16th floor (of 21) of what's probably the tallest apartment building in the city (which, despite its age, is absolutely no problem!), it offers the unique and absolutely breathtaking views you see in the pictures – over the city, the harbor, the mountains, and, of course, the sea. It's truly impressive, at least if you don't suffer from a fear of heights! (We did find the balcony railings on both balconies to be quite low, so in my opinion, it's not ideal for children – or even adults – who might be tempted to climb.) The apartment was exceptionally well-equipped, really lacking nothing. We even found a modern washing machine, including detergent, and a dryer. A simple filter coffee machine in addition to the existing capsule machine would have been a nice touch, and the water pressure is a bit lower than what you're used to at home, but these are truly minor quibbles. :-) Don't worry, nothing really negative here! This extra bit just didn't fit in the main review, so let's keep the good vibes going here. :-) You feel like you're right in the middle of a "Where's Waldo?" book ("Wimmelbuch" zu deutsch) – the harbor, the city, the airport – it's just fantastic! The ambient noise is exactly what you'd expect, but it's not really disturbing; it just feels part of the experience. While we were there, we could even look directly down onto a specially set-up stage at the harbor and listen to a concert. A supermarket and other shops are conveniently located right in the building, and the city's sights are easily reachable on foot. Dining together on the larger balcony is also an experience, at least when the wind and weather cooperate. We had a spacious parking spot in the underground garage, and while the elevators are a bit small, there are two of them, which is helpful. Unfortunately, the advertised "private pool" was no longer available. However, (and perhaps even better!), there's a public swimming pool directly across the street, as well as a free swimming access point/basin/bathing area at the harbor with concrete steps, showers, etc. This spot is also great for snorkeling, especially for beginners – I saw tons of fish in the clear seawater, and it seems to be very popular with the locals. Our host, Bruno, was always reachable for any questions, which we really appreciated. He even booked a highly recommended dolphin and whale watching tour for us, saving us time. The catamaran's departure point was practically right across the street, which was incredibly convenient – truly a huge advantage of this apartment's excellent location.
