- Isadora (9/5): Perfect place to stay for a group - Location was excellent and so convenient, with restaurants, cafes and a supermarket very close by! Just a minute’s walk away you can also see Auckland city centre from the top of the hill, so that was a great view. It was so spacious as well, with everything we could possibly need. The host Hamish is great too, super responsive and quickly came to personally fix a minor issue even though it was a national holiday. Carpet was clean but a bit tired with some stains here and there, but it can’t be helped as this was clearly an old family home. Otherwise perfect for us.

- Felicia (7/5): Good - The house. Nice and big. The pool table. Parking. The location. Close to everything. Grounds need attention. Lawn wasn't mowed. Dreadlock rug in lounge, annoying. Some windows were hard to open. The carpet needs replacing. Some of the curtains need attention. Hallway runner annoying. Washer kept turning itself off. Dryer made a loud noise. Bathrooms are quite narrow.

- Janette (9/5): Great stay. Easy to get in and loads of space for a larger group. - Loved the space and the great off street parking. Beds and bedrooms were fantastic. Very peaceful and relaxing. Easy location to great cafes etc Bathrooms could do with an update and the second toilet was a very small fit.

- Chris (8/5): We were happy with our choice - thanks to the owner - Lots of space and the location suited us well. Contact with the owner before the visit was very good. Lots of nice touches like an espresso maker, a stand up table (never had one in a rental before), appliances good and beds were comfortable. Giant TVs with Netflix on both was good to have and although located on a reasonably busy road, we barely noticed the traffic when in side. “Didn’t like” is a bit strong - bathrooms/kitchen are perfectly functional but a bit tired as is the carpet.

- Vinny (9/5): An ideal holiday home for a large family - The home was nice, big and cosy. The heatpump was a hit and kept the home nice & warm. We used the smaller heaters to keep the far end of the house warm. We made good use of the washing machine and dryer, as it rained most of the time. The pool table was also a hit. The location was great, not too far from the shopping mall. There was a small leak in the lounge. The driveway was a hassle to manoeuvre out and especially turning onto the roadway. The dryer didn't dry our clothes and linen properly, we had to put it through multiple cycles to dry everything.
