• Guest (7/5): Lovely stay, great location. - Great location Sliding wardrobe door not secure and pipe work and hole in wardrobe not covered. Lights in master bedroom full of cobwebs. Damp speckles appeared at top corner of bathroom. Larder cupboard full of crumbs and dirty. Milk shelf in fridge door split.

• Amy (7/5): Good - The location was ok, walking distance to the town and restaurants… The host was nice. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very uncomfortable. The metal springs dug into my back. The dining table was basically in a hallway room with no windows. The water heater was in the bedroom closet and came on and off all night. I am not very picky, but those things were certainly annoying.
• Imen (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect and the apartment was pretty spacious a nice. The mattress of the double bedroom wasn't great and, in the kitchen especially, were missing some bits and pieces for example, salt and pepper, a sponge to wash the dishes and even hand soap. Apart from some missing stuff it is a good place

• Jenny (2/5): Location was good, close to supermarket and Loch Lomond - There was a washing machine but nowhere to hang wet clothes. At least one sachet of washing powder would have been nice! No instructions on how to operate either the washing machine nor the oven Basic coffee and tea but no milk. Rubbish bin lid broken and no bin liner.

Hosts very responsive when we couldn't get heating working. Property very clean and comfortable...well placed for access to Highlands. Loved our stay...thank you again. As above
• Amanda (7/5): Good - The property was nice and comfy and in a good Location. I Asked if there was adequate heating and was told yes but when we got there it wasn’t working and spent the first night freezing as we couldn’t get in touch with the host who later told us she was at a party. We had to go to bed to keep warm. They gave us heaters the next day but felt the response from host was rude.

• Melia (10/5): Exceptional - Spotlessly clean, extremely well appointed and equipped. Beautiful location perfect for our trip. A real credit to the owners and would not hesitate to return if in Scotland. The best nights sleep in such comfortable beds thank you 😊 Booking.com is flawed I knew there was no breakfast as a self catering accommodation. No address provided on the confirmation and spent 45 minutes knocking doors to eventually find the place as all I was given was a postcode - wouldn't recommend Booking.com - the number provided to contact the owner was useless as they are obviously a reluctant gatekeeper and only ever got through once - when we were desperate no return of call or message - the lady that let us in was so lovely and thank the lord for her - I would thoroughly recommend the property and we had a fabulous stay but wouldn't book through Booking.com
• Caroline (5/5): Great location but disappointing accommodation - The location is great - short walk to centre of Balloch, the loch side and the station, which was our main reason for booking. Bathroom nice, shower good Off-street parking Facilities not great - no hairdryer (though advertised), microwave unusable, no instructions for washing machine and no facility to dry wet washing. Double bed too soft and very uncomfortable, single bed creaky. Second bedroom tiny and houses boiler which was noisy - this was left on prior to our arrival which made the room unbearably hot. One smoke alarm went off in early hours of morning and the other fell off ceiling during our stay, narrowly missing my daughter's head as she walked up the corridor. No blind or curtains in bathroom - not very private Wardrobe doors broken and not easy to slide open Kitchen utensils and drawers not very clean Please note that the apartment is not in the house in the photograph - it is off to the side of the house.
• Calvin (10/5): Well maintained and clean. - Very comfortable The boiler was in the single room ! Noisy when it kicks in . No shower gel , plenty of hand wash !!
• Rodney (9/5): Superb - Self catering so excellent No toilet brush, no bedside lamp in 2nd bedroom. Very inferior cutlery, nowhere to dry washing. Would have appreciated info on local area, doctors,hospital, and instructions how to work the appliances.

• Elaine (8/5): Cosy and comfortable - Could put instructions on how to use the oven, I’m used to a gas oven and couldn’t get on with the electric oven at all, didn’t like to bug the host so would be good for future guests to have an itinerary on it. Extremely clean, warm and comfortable. Just a couple of niggles, the towel rail in bathroom needs fixing and bulbs need replacing in kitchen. Otherwise a lovely stay
