- Takuya (10/5): -
- Jenni (7/5): - Great large house
Awesome location
- Lee (9/5): Enjoyable - The place is very unique and the more you stay the more you grow to love what it offers Not a biggie but Dryer was very loud
- Nicola (8/5): Despite the age of the house, we had a great time there and missed it when we left! - Location was amazing. Walking straight onto beach from back area was so good! Beds were comfy. Home is big and has a lovely feel. A suggestion would be to get a skip bin and remove all the old things laying around particularly outside including the sheds and a handyman needed to just go through house inside. Couple of light switches dodgy, handles off things etc. Needs much maintenance but on saying that we loved it and missed it when we left!
- John (10/5): Amazing beachside stay - Amazing location. Perfect for our family trip. We will be back!
- Lisa (9/5): Amazing location, fantastic host, will be back. - Location is absolutely amazing. Beach right at your doorstep. Massive house that has enough space for a larger family.
- Karen Suh (5/5): Good location but very very old interior. - Great location. Able to walk on/off beach. Pet friendly. The place is VERY dated and VERY old which is not reflected in the pictures. Visible water leaking off ceilings and doors that do not shut or not exisitant. We had to wash some of the exterior windows to see the ocean views. Table tennis table broken and not usable. Unfortunately I would have not booked had I known the actual condition of the house.
- Helen (8/5): Like the house that Jack built on the beach- quirky - The outstanding position on the beach. We loved it Only the grill worked in the oven
- Efstathia (10/5): Extraordinary old character beach retreat - We love everything about Sandy Shores. Especially the location by the beautiful beach, with views over the bay.
Walking out straight to the sandy beach on a hot summer day is amazing and priceless. The sunsets take your breath away.
We also love the character of the house and the space it provides for big families.
The host Vlad, is very attentive and was kind to leave us wine and chocolates as a welcome treat.
We wholeheartedly suggest staying at Sandy Shores.
For an unforgettable holiday.
- Jayde (5/5): - Beautiful location Very unsafe . Alot of things broken and was worried about kids safety
- Jillain (9/5): Character and charm on the beach! - We really enjoyed our stay! The home is older but full of character and charm, and it was clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic—direct access to the beach from the backdoor! We also loved having the outdoor shower with hot water, which was a lovely surprise. While not all doors and windows open, and some lounge windows were a bit hard to see through, there’s plenty of space to relax and enjoy. Overall, a charming spot for a beach getaway!
- Gerard (7/5): - Spacious, good location. Table tennis table was fun. Rooms were adequate. Ice maker was terrible. Ice trays would be better. No trash bin in the toilets
- johanna (10/5): Family beach fun with the kids and the dogs. - Location absolutely amazing. Could sit in bed all day and watch the bay or walk to town and restaurants Exactly what you want in a beach side accommodation.
- Tammy (6/5): - Location
- Kerry (10/5): -
- Greg (8/5): Hidden gem - Amazing location. Spacious, comfortable and well appointed house
- Michael (8/5): Had a wonderful time - Not only does this property sit pretty much on the beach which makes it perfect for summer time but it’s walking distance to shops
- Lavakula (10/5): Definitely be back, our family came to visit and loved it - It brought back memories of being back at schools
And my young adult children love the atmosphere
Don’t change anything the timber panels the stairs

- Wai (3/5): Not recommended to stay - Nol Terrible old house , old broken furniture, dusty , roof and glass was broken too
- Anthony (8/5): Beautiful location. - View was spectacular , complimentary wine was a nice touch. Host Vlad was great. Cleaners were still cleaning after the time for entrance to the house.
- Wachtel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (9/5): Staycation - Location and size was perfect right on the beach and walking distance to cafes and shooe Could be updated
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - So close to the beach
- Carmen (8/5): Very good - The location was amazing as well as the views. It was so nice to walk straight from the verandah to the main sandy beach on our own path. Close to all amenities. The house was clean with good furniture tastefully arranged, just structurally a bit dated. The living areas were well equipped and comfortable. The beds were clean and comfy and two of the bedrooms had beautiful views directly towards the ocean. It had kayaks and other beach equipment available for use. There were a number of garbage bins located right near the entrance that were overflowing. We had to put our one bag next to them when we left as there was no more space inside the bins. There was a strong smell coming from them at the front door and through the windows of the bedrooms located on that part of the building.
- Alyssa (8/5): Very good -
- Hamza (9/5): Returning guest love the location and the size of the house is great for family getaway - Location is amazing Bathrooms dated
- Narelle (8/5): Very good -
- Cullen (9/5): Superb - The location is the best - close to the beach but also the shops. Heaps of space in the fantastic house. Plenty of room to have extended family lunch/day of catching up. Bit difficult to rotate cars through the driveway parking spot and 2 hour zones. The garage spot is not really viable or practical.
Any other problems were easily sorted.
- Victoria (10/5): Fabulous..our favourite holiday home! - *super quiet
*five minutes walk to town
*outstanding view
- Darlene (7/5): Good - Location, view, Property requires a complete refurb, very over ran with ants, lots of lights not working, sliding doors need runners. Dishwasher supplied no tablets to use it. Went to use the coffee machine it was full of mouldy coffee pods and liquid.
- Tristan (7/5): Good -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - Nice quiet but comfortable with a nice view each night and morning stunning place Nothinh
- Marty (5/5): Passable -
- Aram (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful location and access, lovely heritage building, ocean view, 🔥 place, pet friendly, family friendly facilities and nice and respectful staff. The owner is very friendly and address any issues quickly.
We had amazing stay .
Thanks Sandy Shores Estate.
- Jordanna (8/5): Lovely picturesque beach home in ideal location - Couldn’t top the location
Right on the beach and within a block or so of ships and restaurants Couldn’t use two bedrooms due to a window being locked open and strong icy winds
Just chose the other rooms down other end of house so plenty of chose but luckily didn’t have more people with us
Told hosts and they said they would look into it so sure it will be rectified for next guests
- Rin (9/5): Thank you for the wine and chocolate. They made a good start of our family holiday. We had great 3 nights here..even in - Good location in the heart of Franskton. Easy check in, host was also responsive to our questions. We loved the house, very spacious for our family. The table tennis was a hit! Would really recommend this to others. Thank you, Vlad and team! ~
- Sophie (8/5): Very good -
- Kate (6/5): Great location, - Location
Vlad was very helpful when we had internet and power issues No water pressure in showers.
Strange smell in kitchen
Lots of cobwebs
- Aram (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenni (10/5): The Magical beach ⛱️ house - We had a beautiful stay and enjoy our time. We absolutely 💯 loved the character of the house. It suited us perfectly.
We would really love to come back again one day 🙏 The upstairs views of the beach from the 2 main bedrooms and the table tennis area were fabulous 👌
- Elaine (8/5): Family stay on the beach - The location was excellent, so nice being right on the beach. Very good linen on the beds, plenty of room for the family, table tennis table and kayaks were a hit with everyone. Some basic maintenance needs to be undertaken, doors not closing, batteries not checked in the remotes, not all the hotplates worked. Would be helpful if an instruction manual was provided for the oven. Just a few things to make the experience better as it is a great house in a beautiful location.
- Romain (9/5): Superb -
- Efstathia (8/5): Beachfront magic - Loved the perfect location, right at the beach, with amazing sea views and sunsets. The house is expansive and fits big groups.
Older Tudor style like design, but that's the quirk of it. Kids could play hide and seek forever, after spending all day at the beach.
Best thing about this amazing home was the closeness to the beach, walking barefoot to and back. Would love to stay again. Safety issues. The coin has two sides.
You can't control or see who is the beach after dark.
We noticed that someone had come in the house at night
Although we had locked all external doors before going to bed, in the morning all ground floor doors were unlocked and a sliding one open. Nothing was missing from our stuff but I advice you don't leave valuables on the ground floor during the night. Especially car keys. I was informed it happens with teens in the area. So take extra care, but don't miss out on booking this superb property.
- Peter (5/5): Passable - only two beds were made and we had to get the linen and make the other two beds
TV couldnt be connected to the internet
- Agrawal (10/5): The stay was fantastic specially the closer reach to the beach. Facilities were amazing like the host. Had a really grea - Location Locks in the powder room on ground floor and one restroom on the first floor
- Debra (8/5): Fantastic night. - Fantastic location clean and very clean and lovely linen on beds. Would loved to be able to stay more than one night but it is a bit pricey. The only thing that let it down was the age of the home. It is very weathered, and some doors are hard to open and the showers are old.
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Turbit (7/5): Good - The value for price paid was good. The host was great at communicating, left a little arrival gift, and messaged during the stay. The beds were fairly comfortable and clean. It easily fit a large group. Location to beach was good and a restaurant and bar within walking distance. It was OK but just to have realistic expectations when booking - the house needs a fair bit of work. We used it for a budget friendly trip so wasn't to phased. The handle in the bathroom fell off, the fridge was wonky and door kept swinging when open and the house was very dated with lots of wall patching needed.
- Hamza (8/5): Property is old but clean and tidy. Beds where very comfortable and the host is amazing in accommodating any requests - Property is old but clean and tidy. Beds where very comfortable and the host is amazing in accommodating any requests Dated bathrooms but you get exactly what you see so there wasn’t any surprises
- Lisa (10/5): Outstanding beach location - The location of the house was amazing. Couldn't get any closer to the beach if you tried!
Host was exceptional, questions answered quickly.
The home was massive and fitted our family of 7 in with space to spare!
We will definitely be back.
- Osama (8/5): Very good - Great breathtaking view
- Lee (5/5): Good location - The location and access to the beach is great Some of the pans are with scratches . Insufficient pots .
- Celeste (8/5): Loved the beach access, character house and views. - Very big character house with lots of space for everyone, big bowl of fruit on table with a note from the hosts as a welcome was a lovely touch. Beach access was such a plus, bbq and various things at house to use on the beach including kayaks. Beautiful views of the sea and whole bay. The house, although beautiful is a little old and some doors didn't shut properly but overall it is a fantastic property.
- Siew (9/5): We enjoyed ourselves - Close to the beach No hairdryer. A little rundown
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - The view
- Fred (10/5): Exceptional - Sandy Shores Estate is a wonderfully spacious, very comfortable house which is well appointed and quiet apart from the soothing, gentle sound of the sea. Our family of six adults a toddler and an infant fitted in beautifully and because of the house's size, each bedroom felt remote and separate from the others. This is a great house for large groups which has all the amenities expected of a beach house including kayaks and boogie boards. We also enjoyed the table tennis table and the kids loved the duplo provided. Frankston shops and kids playground are only a short walk away.
Sandy Shore's real beauty though, lies in its proximity to Frankston beach which is metres away from the back door over a few low dunes. Views from most rooms are spectacular. We loved our stay here and will be returning. Nothing.
- Sharon (7/5): Loved the location, configuration of the house was unusual but worked well with a family of 7. - Location onto the beach was superb. We were a little concerned about the Frankston area as it is a bit rough but we didn't notice much as it was an easy walk to the shopping centre and so it didn't impact our stay at all. The courtyard leading out to the beach was not that tidy and a little disappointing
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (7/5): Comfortable - Location and price Toilet handle broken
- Prom (9/5): Superb -
- Deanna (7/5): Lovely location for a very old building - Location to beach and shops Some heating not working..Freezing
- Kulkarni (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - The views, the clean air, the proper timber fireplace. Huge place, the sound of the sea and liked the BBQ facilities The sink water was a bit slow to drain but otherwise we really enjoyed it.
- Peter (3/5): Large house but it appeared to be part of the way through a renovation and not fit for renting. - Location was good as the house was right on the beach. The house was in disrepair. Some electrical outlets were damaged or did not work. There was an electrical wire running along the wall above the shower?? Windows and doors were not insulated. Paint was peeling off interior walls and ceilings.
- Vanessa (5/5): Enjoyed the views and location - Great location
Beds were comfortable and clean Netflix, Stan and Prime Video wasn’t working
Not enough wood for 2 nights
- Cheryl (7/5): Good -
- Isabella (9/5): comfortable - big, spacious, clean, beachfront, location
- Jose (10/5): Exceptional - Close to beach and fantastic host NA
- Donnq (8/5): The stay was great -
- Tristan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ramesh (8/5): Very good -
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lena (10/5): loved it - location, beach access, spacy, nice beds, charming place cleanliness, an unknown person walked into our room as my daughter was getting dressed, the door between the two front bedrooms would not close,
