• Jerzy (10/5): Wspaniałe miejsce, piękne widoki - Wszystko nam się podobało, zadbany, czyściutki i komfortowy domek , piękny ogród miła gościnna i wesoła gospodyni która doradziła nam co zwiedzać w okolicy. Bardzo dobry punkt wypadowy na dalsze zwiedzanie. Polecamy to miejsce, warto je odwiedzić!

Le petit plus, l'hôte nous a expliqué le fonctionnement, parlé des centres d'intérêts et offert un panier garni. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter ! Rien, tout est parfait !

• Zoe (10/5): May 2025 - NC500 tour - The lodge was in a great location, secluded and peaceful with a private garden. The owner supplied us with a welcome pack and useful information about the area. There was a large lounge and well equipped kitchen. There was no neighbour noise & the lodge was located an easy walk downhill to the main road & Altbea village. A really welcome stay after a few days on the road doing the NC500. We particularly liked the coastal Wester Ross area and the Loch Ewe WW2 history Nothing
• Anonymous (10/5): Excellent accommodation in a great location for both mountain scenery and beautiful coastline. - A warm friendly greeting on arrival from the host, who provided full information on the property and the top things to see and do in the area, especially helpful for direction to a beautiful less known sandy beach . The chalet style lodge has been beautifully furnished and modernised, with everything we needed for our stay. The lodge is located in a quiet secluded rural area with a lovely raised view from the living room out over the newly installed balcony, rear garden and trees to the hills in the distance. Such a restful place to enjoy your stay, I’m sure we will be back. Nothing, it was just all we needed.

• Lois (10/5): Comfortable stay in lovely cottage in Aultbea - This is an extremely well equipped and comfortable cottage in a peaceful location. Michelle, the host is warm, helpful and very generous with a starter pack of goodies for our stay. King sized bed, good quality recliner chairs and footstools in the lounge, spacious kitchen, washing machine. Parking is outside the front door, easy access into the house. Several places of interest close by, eg, NT Inverewe Gardens, Pool House. A great place to stay, ideal for a relaxing few days. Nothing

Big patio doors to decking to sit out on overlooking garden.Clean and comfortable- excellent bed, wonderful shower and soft towels. A real home from home with everything you need. Lots of walks and beaches nearby for us and our dog.

• Sheila (8/5): Relaxing, calm, close to nature. - The lounge has a huge patio door looking onto a garden surrounded by trees. We were serenaded by song birds and a roe deer came to eat the grass in the evening. It was very calm. We could walk to the village where there was a shop and a pub.

Everything about the place was magical - it lived up to it's name. The bonus on top was the host who was super friendly and helpful. I will be back for sure.

All in all a lovely place to spend a few days The only downside was reception on TV was pretty poor, however did not take away from the enjoyment. • Andrew (9/5): Superb - The lodge is a very good size, larger than many other chalets I have known, and certainly very significantly moreso than the more recent craze for "pods" that are being advertised these days around the region. The host is also taking great care of the place and sees to it that every detail about this accommodation is functioning, and even providing some basic supplies in the kitchen, which is beyond the call of duty for a self catering facility. The natural looking space, or informal garden, to the front of the large windows in the living area is indeed the extra ingredient for this highly tranquil spot and means the title given to the facility is indeed appropriate. No significant complaints at all. We noted that some numbers attached to the different lodges and use of a consistent name for the site at the entrance and across the advertising and payment mechanisms for it would be beneficial going forward, but these are only minor comments. The fees are a little steep in my view, but then I always make that comment for almost all lettings in this region currently, as a general observation. This one is not worse than others and perhaps they will all be able to reduce their rates a little before too long :)
• Greenhow (10/5): Fantastic comfy lodge in a superb location. - The lodge was beautiful and clean. Very well equipped and lovely welcome pack. Very comfortable beds and furniture and lovely views of the garden. The owner was lovely, friendly, and helpful with lots of welcome information about local attractions. There was loads to do around the area, and the scenery was stunning. Although it wasn't an issue as easy to walk the dog around the lodge, a secure garden would have made this even more perfect for us.

• Stanley (10/5): I can sum up our stay by simply saying Perfect. - We liked everything about the property, it was quiet and spacious and had everything that we needed. It was in it’s own grounds which were well maintained. The only thing that was missing was an internet connection as there was no phone line.

Appreciated the welcome pack foods. I know its well advertised there is no WiFi, but I would have preferred WiFi and a larger TV screen. Bathroom is a bit on the small side.
• Phil (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely modern equipped kitchen with a generous welcome pack thoughtfully tailored to our group by Michelle, who also gave us a great recommendation to where to eat locally. Peaceful location. We struggled a bit with the type of door handle being hard to turn, and we couldn't find a tin opener, but these were minor against how well equipped and comfortable it was.

• Sophie (10/5): This lodge name is exactly what we feel there - The lodge is really confortable and looks like new. All is so nice and very clean, it gives us an impression of first guests! Aultbea is a really nice village and there are many wonderful places to go around. The owner, Michele, is an incredibly friendly woman. If you have any trouble, you know you are able to count on her, she is a such amazing woman… All my family and I are waiting to see her again! Not to stay longer…
