- Lisa Livingstone (9/5): Chilaxed few nights away - We loved the setting, being situated where we were we had the sun, peaceful and relaxing. Yurt is beautiful. Bed was too soft for me. Mattress could be changed to a medium to firm. It rained during the last night and we had 2 puddles in the yurt. Just needs adjusting to stop this.

- Natalie (10/5): A cute little stay with the family to just chill & relax - Its quirkiness. It was so cosy & cute. Bit scary going to loo at night time
- Rosie (9/5): - Really comfortable and well decorated, so cozy and hot tub was great! The electricity wasn’t great, we had to balance the switches on the sockets to keep the lights on and the fridge, tv and hot plate weren’t working when we arrived.
- Kat (9/5): - Beautiful place. Very friendly staff. Clean.

- Ripley (10/5): Happily married couple n a needy french bulldog 🤪 - If you want peace and quiet this place is ideal, cosy rustic yurt ,clean, comfortable, nice place to chill for a few day's, staff helpful, log fired hot tub nice.
It's in a remote location so I'd advise you've got transport if you wanted to get out n about. Might seem a bit picky but didn't spoil anything...
Toilet seat broken,...
No lock on Outdoor bathroom...
Coffee maker wouldn't boil water (used a pan on hob)...but don't let that put you off...definitely book again 🙂
- Amanda (10/5): Tranquil - Location perfect, I was staying at the lodge while attending a wedding close by, I would suggest you bring a torch if you are going to be arriving late in the evening.
- Elliott (10/5): - Fantastic location and such a romantic setting Nothing
- Megan (8/5): - Convenience of facilities was great! Lovely space and so cosy. The hot tub took over 3 hours to get warm and still didn’t get hot enough to be in for a while. Was a little disappointing as we were told it would only take an hour or so. The shower also didn’t get very hot - we wish it did as it was quite chilly when we stayed.

- Fred (10/5): Unreal - Staff were so lovely and the yurt was so amazing, absolutely no complaints at all, will be coming back soon for sure!

- Briggs (10/5): Fabulous well set up relaxing cosy stay, we will be back - Clean, cosy and everything we needed Very little, if anything and this is being picky it might have been nice to have some storage for the outdoor sofa cushions so they could stay dry and we could get them out as and when dry, so we could have sat out, but that’s being picky, we had a fab time and chose to go mid winter Nov, and the weather was out of our control
- Caitlin (8/5): -
- Nathan (10/5): - Fantastic.
Great location
Great facilities Couple of lights not working and would be handy to have a spare and accessible plug socket but otherwise fantastic.
- Naomi (10/5): The perfect mini break. - The location was absolutely stunning. It was so beautiful listening to the sounds of nature as we relaxed..... absolutely bliss
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Thank you so much. We will be back! Absolutely nothing. It was perfect
- Victoria (9/5): Relaxation at its best - Very peaceful, quiet location. Perfect place to relax and just take in the surroundings of nature.
- Colin (10/5): -
- Nicole (7/5): Beech Yurt - The facilities were good - the sauna, hot tub, fire pit, BBQ - all great
Very secluded and peaceful (when building works weren't going on).
Great if you have dogs! There were building works which slightly ruined the "relax and listen to the forest" vibes.
It's a small thing, but on the first night the fairy lights in the yurt turned off on their own but then the second night they didn't and it was quite tricky to work out where and how to turn them off.
The Yurt could use a little TLC - bathroom door didn't shut properly, hot tub smelt a bit sulphuric and they could do with some covers for the outdoor seating so it stays dry after it rains.
- Moody (10/5): A tiny.paradise - I absolutely loved how cosy the yurts are and the glass roof bathrooms are genuine, best shower iv ever had ❤️, the lake its the most stunning walk, with fantastic scenery an beautiful wild flowers 💐 the sauna in the woods with the ice pool was so refreshing an again stunning views 😍 we have already booked our next checky few nights away from the kids an im sure it will soon become our new happy place 💛🧡❤️❤️ It really is a tiny little nit pick if I had to say anything at all it would be that the hot tubs need chlorine in them as by the second morning we had to completely drain our an refill it as it stunk of pond water 💧 but staff were so help full an friendly an more than willing to do this for us 🥰
- Susan (10/5): We had a lovely time enjoyed waking up to bird song , lovely walks and lots of places to visit close by. - Peace and quiet Nothing not to like

- Elliot (4/5): So much potential, but let down by cleanliness. - The location was beautiful, especially the walks round the lake. The yurt was set into the trees and high up, which made you feel really connected to the nature surrounding you whilst also feeling hidden from sight - which was nice for the hot tub. The yurt was dirty, we found multiple sweets around the floor, a tissue under a cushion on the chair, and I had to deep clean the grill pan before use (it was so dirty I had to use a fresh tooth brush I had brought with me to clean it, as the cheap sponge they provided turned black as soon as it touched the baked on fat. Some of the utensils were also dirty and needed to be cleaned before use, the kettle was full of limescale. The outside area really needed a sweep as there was food laying around. The bathroom was mostly clean, but the floor needed sweeping and as they advertised it to be a stargazing roof you would expected it to be clean enough to see through.
- Karolina (10/5): - Type of property, nature, peace and quiet, beautiful view. Lovely staff. Everything what you need to get chill and rest. Just everything was perfect 🫶
- Nichola (10/5): Exceptional - On arrival we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who helped us take our bags to our yurt, the hottub had been light for us which was a lovely surprise, we got settled in then took a walk around the site and lake,
It's a very peaceful place just what we needed, our second day and night we took a uber into ripen, lovely town with lots of shops and restaurants we were spoilt for choice, I would recommend this place and definitely come back again. My only issue was there was so many flies but you can't have everything lol.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Piotr (4/5): Avoid for the money and go else where - Nice and quiet Really overpriced for what you got,
The whole platform the yurt was on was highly unstable and the planks were bending as you were walking quite a lot, the site hasn’t been up kept to what the pictures depicted which was quite sad to see, upon our arrival we weren’t greeted by anyone and there was no signage to tell us what to do upon arrival, we struggled to find our yurt and had to walk around the site to find it which wouldn’t be and issue if the site wasn’t so steep
- Keerthepan (7/5): Great stay - The property was amazing , great location, facilities were great On the booking I was shown the bathroom leading through the tent but it was seperate to the property
- Kerry (10/5): Beautiful, tranquil location… Perfect!!! - Beautiful tranquil location, perfectly played out… The lady that helped us when we checked in was so kind & helpful.. I’ll look forward to visiting again
- Jessica (9/5): Fabulous setting for getting in touch with nature - The location and view were truly unbelievable! We felt like we had really reset back into nature and switching off from reality..
We really enjoyed how secluded and quiet the site was, and the walks around the woods and lake were lovely, we even tried the recommended wild swimming in the lake!
The yurt was comfortable, clean and a unique setting. There was a great range of ambient lighting inside the yurt and on the balcony. The log burner inside and outside were easy to use.
User friendly instructions were left on the log fired hot tub, with a fair warning on how long it takes to heat up.
The city of ripon is very close for topping up on supplies, and we visited the national trust site, fountains Abbey, that is only a few minutes away.
Plenty of other choices for things to do, we could have stayed a week and not run out of options. The only downside was that the only tap was in the bathroom, which was next to the yurt. This wasn't a problem with the good weather we had, but I was glad it wasn't raining
- Chrissie (8/5): Gorgeous for short breaks - The staff were amazing, so polite and eager to help. The yurt itself was much bigger than expected, and the little touches - cushions, coffee machine, fresh towels - made it feel extra special. The views across the wood were very picturesque and the fact we could bring our dog made it just perfect!! There was lots to explore onsite too! Our son enjoyed watching the ducklings swim in the lake and the paths were easy to walk along. Overall a lovely, pleasant stay and we would definitely recommend to others.. Hot tub needed a good clean. The water smelt stagnant. Sadly, other guests spoilt it slightly with loud music playing until all hours. We tried calling the out of hours team, but it went to voicemail..
- Ricky (6/5): Lovely location needing some love - The concept was brilliant. On entry you are blown away with the place and its surroundings.
The lake is stunning and peaceful Not very clean on inspection. Paying £200 a night while having to clean your own dishes and chop your own fire wood seems a little excessive. Especially with the amount of wood the fire and hot tub needed. Spent most of our time there chopping wood at £8 a bag. Ontop of the fee to stay.
The jetty cannot be walked on, there is no path or sign posts showing where to go. And the sauna looked really outdated. But that could be the look they are going for.
- Andrew (9/5): Great facility, location and nature. - Very well organized. From the moment we arrived until we left was great. Location great yurt and facilities were fantastic. Kids loved the quite and animals we saw. Yurt was so comfortable and was very well equipped Will come again We enjoyed so much and is whet we expected a big thank you to all. Cant really fault the stay.
