• Sue (7/5): Good Location - Central location with everything available at your door, shops to buy water, drinks, snacks, restaraunts, shopping. Only a short walk from the harbour.

I would stay here again because of the location. Problems with the hair dryer turning off and shower would not drain properly. The studio apartment was above the courtyard restaurant, and that could get loud at times. Sheets were very rough, and the bed was extremely firm.
• Terri (8/5): - The apartment was on a side street off the main road in Amalfi, just a few minutes walk from the bus stops / ferry port. We were met at the central square and led to the property. Although the main area by the cathedral was very noisy, the noise level dropped almost immediately when we went into the side street and we were never bothered by noise in the apartment itself. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The host provided recommendations for restaurants and possible activities, and had offered help with transport in advance of the stay as well (though we had already arranged this for ourselves). The kitchen could have been a bit better equipped for cooking - for example, there were no sharp knives for cutting veg.

• Rich (10/5): There is an Angel in Amalfi - Angela, Angela, Angela....went out of her way to help us as we navigated our last minute changes to our journey. The flat itself was lovely. The access to luggage storage at the "Amalfi Hotel" was welcomed. The location was amazing. And Angela was the glue that made it all work in a perfect way. So lucky we stayed here.

We loved being able to be just a few (and only a few ;) steps from everything in Amalfi! We were met upon arrival and showed to the apartment. Our host shared a map with all of her favorite eateries in the city and offered connections for activities. Everything was spot on and made our trip magical! We loved every second and wish we could have stayed a few more days! There could not be a better location! thank you for everything! Nothing, it was perfect!

• Alison (8/5): Very good - Great location not far from the main square and the port/bus station. It's just off the main street, Via Lorenzo D'Amalfi, but also easily accessible via the ginnels, once you find your way around, so you wouldn't have to dodge tourists and cars in the peak season. We mainly ate out but picked up snacks from the Deco supermarket just opposite. (Watch out for the high prices at the restaurants in the main square. The best restaurant we found for good food and value and great atmosphere was the Trattoria da Maria on the main street.) We had a very comfortable room at the Casa Amalfi with a well-equipped kitchenette and dining space, and a kettle! For us, it was a great base to visit the rest of the coast by bus and boat. We did a circuit from Naples, visiting Pompeii and Sorrento on the Circumvesuviana Train, then took the bus to Amalfi where we based ourselves for a few days. We made day trips out to Ravello and Positano by bus, walked to Atrani via the tunnel through the cliffs, then caught the boat to Salerno for the train back to Naples. It was quite busy, even in March, so we were pleased to be visiting out of peak season.

Port and bus stop are in about 3 minutes walking, so also convenient for those with heavy luggage. Very lovely host, who met us in the port and provided many suggestions about activities in Amalfi. Price-value ratio is absolutely bizarre, but it is Amalfi coast in the middle of the main touristic season. Bathroom is full of ants despite absolute cleanliness. Luckily they only stay there.

Staying at Amalfi allows easy and predictable access to popular destinations like Sorrento, Positano and Capri via ferry. The size of the room is equivalent to a normal hotel room but with a kitchenette attached. Housekeeping is once every three nights. WiFi is also slow.

• Wing (10/5): Nice Stay! - The location is fantastic. The apartment is equipped with all you need. The kitchen is functional with all the utensils for you to cook a meal. Angela was very nice to accommodate out check-in request. It will be great if they could provide coffee/tea bags, shower gel and shampoo. But overall, not very big deal.
