• Thomas (10/5): Beyond our expectation! - LovePorto2 is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Porto. It worked perfectly for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids (7,9). The apartment is very nice with everything we wanted for our stay. The backyard/garden was perfect for the kids to play, and all of us to relax outside and enjoy the evenings the view over Old Town Porto. The location is perfect as it is right in Old Town Porto with easy walking access to everything the area has to offer with restaurants, shops, parks, and historic Porto sites. Recommend Cielo Bruch Garden as a great restaurant just a minute’s walk away. Jose is a great host and makes us feel right at home. He met us when we arrived and provided information about the apartment and detailed information on the local area. I just can’t imagine a nicer place to stay in Porto. Nothing

• Wendy (9/5): A lovely, relaxing stay in pleasant surroundings, with the old city centre within walking distance - We loved the spaciousness and cleanliness of the apartment, as well as the pleasant garden view and the central location - everything in walking distance, as long as you've got strong legs to cope with all the hills of Porto! It was a little unfortunate that there was some garden construction work going on during our short stay, but I believe that it is now completed, so future guests do not need to worry!

• Heather (9/5): Loved this property! Comfortable and convenient. - We had a great stay at this property. We were in the two bedroom suite (2 couples travelling together), and we found it very comfortable. There was lots of space and we could get privacy when we needed it. There was lots location was convenient to wandering around Porto on foot. Close to several grocery stores as well. We loved walking across the bridge to Gaia. The host was very informative and welcoming. There was some noise from the river banks at night where restaurants turned up the music. We managed to go to sleep in spite of it.
• Arvind (10/5): - An absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish. Jose and Luisa are the gold standard of hosts. Their hospitality began with a warm and friendly greeting, followed by a thoughtful introduction to their fantastic apartment and the city of Porto itself. The apartment is a gem. The duplex layout is spacious and bright, with a charming garden out front that creates a welcoming view. It's located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood just across the river, offering a tranquil retreat after a day of sightseeing. Inside, the apartment was immaculate and stocked with every amenity you could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to hotel-quality comforts. What truly set this experience apart was Jose's philosophy: he simply wanted us to have a good time and told us they would take care of all the cleaning and garbage after we left. This incredible gesture allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation to the very last minute. Our stay was a 10/10 experience, and we would recommend Jose and Luisa's place to anyone visiting Porto without a moment's hesitation. Nothing to not like...

• Silvia e Enrico (9/5): - Un appartamento molto particolare, grandissimo e ben organizzato. I proprietari hanno pensato a qualsiasi necessità dei visitatori: ci sono molte informazioni sia riguardo all'appartamento sia sulla città. Viene fornita frutta fresca e altro come benvenuto... per noi è stata una bellissima sorpresa trovare anche degli snack senza glutine! Molto bella e godibile la terrazza. Qualche difficoltà a lasciare l'auto, ma è normale, visto che praticamente l'appartamento si trova in centro. Il piano di sotto leggermente umido.
• Mario (10/5): Droomplek in Porto - Een heerlijke ruime plek met alle faciliteiten die een verblijf aangenaam maken. Op loopafstand van meeste plekken in Porto. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst met veel goede tips. Parkeren is lastig in de buurt, maar parkeergarage op 5 min. Geen grote supermarkt in de buurt, dus voor de betere boodschappen moet je toch met de auto.
• Samantha (10/5): We are very thankful for the thoughtfulness to detail and family friendly stay. - The hosts were extremely accommodating every step of the way. They were very responsive, sent over city recommendations including maps a few days before our stay, allowed us to check in early, set up the pull out couch bed and crib for us, had toys out and accessible for our 3 kids etc etc. We were greeted by Jose and he gave us a tour of the property and showed us their very detailed welcome packet complete with any information and city recommendations we could have needed. The apartment is very comfortable, clean, with every detail thought through. We were able to do laundry as well. Exceeded our expectations and we would love to come back to stay here again. Thank you! There's nothing I can think of that we didn't like. Having 2 floors was a bonus for our stay with the kids, but maybe that would be a downside for others.

Great location, beautiful apartment in a quiet street, with everything you could need - The location is fantastic, it is so easy to walk into town and to bars and restaurants, and the host has a helpful list of more local places to eat. The apartment is brilliant for two couples and is a very nice conversion of an old grand house. The pictures really do not do it justice. The old balcony now sits in the middle of the building, with industrial steels and particle board juxtaposed with ancient stonework and metalwork. It is just beautifully done. The whole apartment from the bathrooms to the kitchen is well equipped, and the welcome basket or water and wine and nibbles was very welcome. Things we especially loved were the retro Technics stereo system, the coffee pod machine, the huge fridge freezer, the thoughtful provisions in the bathrooms, the plentiful supply of umbrellas (essential for Porto!) and the crisp bedding on comfortable beds. Make sure you enjoy a glass of port on the grass terrace in the evening, it is a great spot to sit and enjoy the sun, watch out for the Beagle when she comes to to say hi! Nothing. Never written on a review that before!
• Debra (10/5): Exceptional - Our location was excellent. Joseph met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the apartment, then went a step above and gave us excellent tour information. They also presented us with a gift basket of buns, crackers, juice, bottled water and other treats. The apartment was very well equipped for cooking, after a day out on our tours we enjoyed preparing a meal at home and relaxing in the courtyard with a Koi Pond and spectacular sunset view.
• Ronald (10/5): We loved our stay, our host helped us in many ways. We really had a nice time. - Very nice mix of history and new, clean, very good location, wonderful host, gift basket. We loved this hist and his apartment. The hosts provided everything you could require and more. Felt like I was in a five star motel. Maps were provided as well as suggestions of places to see. Our host personally assisted us when we needed help. The apartment and backyard were beautiful and again, our host stinted on nothing. We highly recommend a stay here. Not 1 thing.
• Denis (10/5): Very peaceful and relaxing house - There was more then enough space for our family of 5. Furthermore, there is a nice small garden with children playing area and nice pond with fish. Kitchen and other spaces are well equipped and stuffed. Jose is very polite and kind host . House is very close to the most historic places and restaurants in Porto. A lot of public transport options are next to the house. We could say that this place was perfect for our family and we can highly recommend it to others. There is a problem which is not a real problem of the property but Porto city center . Whole center is suffering from lack of good supermarkets. Please be prepared that only basic products could be purchased in the vicinity.
