- Marika (10/5): - Proprieta' di grande bellezza bel cuore di Manarola.
Not for the unfit though!
- Mike (7/5): - Location was great. Plenty of room. Washing machine was clean. Kitchen is well stocked except for a working coffee maker. This place needs a dehumidifier or something. The dessicant jars all over do not do enough to control the moisture and mold.
Oven does not work without cutting out power for the apartment. Coffee maker was full of mold from previous grounds.
Bathroom door is broken off upper hinge and creates a safety hazard with little kids. Property manager is as helpful as tech support from another country.

- Ann (9/5): We really enjoyed it - The location was difficult for us. We are in our late 70s. So could not arrive via the stairs and we had trouble finding g the alternate route. Tha the location was difficult to get to
I can hear you chuckling..as what did we expect it is a cliff location.
- Jenny (8/5): A great stay in a lovely location - Location was great
Well equipped - everything was provided for a short stay and to enable some self catering
Addition of the washing machine was a bonus for longer trips Nothing
- Julia.dolgoshej (8/5): Very good - The apartment is spacious, has two full bedrooms, an equipped kitchen, good bathroom.
As for location: there are stairs finishing down at the sea, but there is also a path without stairs up via "Via Belvedere". That's great that you can choose which one to go to.
In general, the stay was great, but... the washing machine requires some attention from the owner - it has some mold inside, so the clothes are with its smell after washing. That's the only thing that is bad.
- Esther (10/5): - A beautiful apartment where is steps away from the waterfront, a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. However; we had to climb approximately 4 flights of stairs with luggage when checking in. Upon checking out a couple showed us a ramp to go down the Main Street and we wish we could know it earlier. The ramp is right across the Coop supermarket.
- Jo (10/5): A lovely apartment in a stunning setting which I thoroughly recommend. - A lovely apartment very close to the seafront. It had everything we wanted and needed, two lovely bedrooms with lots of storage and an excellent bathroom with a very large shower. The kitchen had all the facilities required and the lounge also had a pull out bed for larger families. The wifi worked fine too.
I recommend communicating with the hosts via WhatsApp, by far the easiest way to get things sorted. The hosts were very accommodating.
Manarola is stunning. Be prepared for walking down (and consequently up!) a large number of steps to get to the seafront, but that's the beauty of Manarola - the front is beautiful and I highly recommend swimming in the bay (go early morning before everyone arrives, it's magical!) There are lots of excellent restaurants in the centre, and places to buy food/drink.
I recommend parking in the car park at the entrance to the town - you cannot drive into Manarola. You will need to walk down into Manarola and up a lot of steps to the apartment, so think about how much luggage you want to carry!
An absolutely beautiful place and brilliant apartment to experience it from! I wouldn't want to improve anything.
- Keith (2/5): - Couldn't honor my reservation. Offered an alternative reservation in another one of their properties close by which I accepted. Come the day of the reservation they say they never made a reservation for me. I emailed back for clarify and they never responded. I was forced to make last minute bookings through another property. I would not book anything through Bluchalet. Horrible communication.
- Joelly (9/5): The location of this cute and quaint apartment is excellent. 10 minutes frrom the train station and close to everything - The short walk from the train station was great. The apartment was large yet cozy and very clean. Just a walk down the steps to the main street. The long and steep flight of steps was daunting but there is another way to approach the property which has very little steps.
- D. (8/5): Great stay in Manarola - Great stay with 2 adults and 2 teens. Lot’s of room and comfortable apartment. Nice to have the washing machine to do a little laundry. It is up a number of stairs (108 to be exact) to get to from the street but so is the whole village. There is a ramp that we chose to use instead several times (also great for luggage) instead of the stairs and it is very close to the apartment. Instructions for accessing the apartment were clear and we were able to have a late check out time for a small fee.
- Peter (9/5): A great place to collapse during the heat of the day or after a long day of hiking and swimming! - Location was great! Close enough to the train station yet a quick walk down the many many stairs to the shops and water…. And a much slower climb up- but that’s the same for anywhere in Manarola.
Property was clean, colorful, and comfortable. A little snug for our family of 5 but it was exactly as described and we knew it would be tight when we rented it. Communication with the host was a little slow but they did get back to us with any needed information.
- Carrie (6/5): Decent accommodations to stay in a wonderful village. - Plenty of space for a family. The shower was really great. The bathroom was the downside of the place: several repairs needed, humidity, mildew, door won’t open or close all the way. Main bedroom mattress was uncomfortable; metal springs dug into my hips.
- Miyoki (4/5): Disappointing - Location wad decent but lots of stairs. The washer made my clothes smell really bad... I would have preferred not washing clothes...it had terrible odor bad mildew. I had to get clothes rewashed at another facility immediately afterwards since we packed very little to cinque terre. Also couldn't find any wine opener.
