Guest Reviews
- Valentina (8/5): Cute cottage, good value for money but clearly needs some improvements - The location was very good, next to a nice walk and easy access to lots of villages. We had a car and it is highly advisable to get one. The property was not very clean, dust everywhere and the bed sheets were old and very rustic. The kitchen is equipped with only 1 pan which was extremely old and greasy.
- Alice (10/5): Great half term mini break in Weybourne - Lovely chalet within a small and quiet holiday park with plenty of space for our family (two adults and a child), private parking, useful facilities (dishwasher, microwave, washing machine etc) and terrace for outdoor dining. We were welcomed with a cake and bottle of apple juice which was a nice surprise. Only a short walk to Weybourne Beach and a short drive to two National Trust properties and other pretty towns. We also enjoyed delicious meals at The Maltings and The Ship Inn.

- Linda (8/5): - Lovely peaceful location Lodge could do with a little maintenance, no outside lights and no dustpan and brush
- Christina (10/5): Beautiful lodge, equipped with everything you need and more. Lovely grounds with different wildlife. - Key was in an accessible key safe easy to find on arrival The wasnt anything we didnt like only that our time there went so quick
- Susan (9/5): - Great location, peaceful, relaxing & dog friendly. Very comfortable lodge.
- Susannah (9/5): - Fabulous location, tranquillity, and facilities. Lovely stay, and we would definitely recommend/return. Lights in fireplace, outside light, and candles weren't working. Would have perfected ambience, and safety of access to the chalet. I highlighted this at the beginning of our stay but sadly they weren't attended to.
- James (8/5): -
- Pullen (9/5): - Quiet. Handy for our intended activities along the coast Needs coat hanging facilities near the entrance.
Drawer storage in the small bedroom.
Everything else good.
- Rebecca (8/5): Cosy, chilled weekend away - Comfy and cosy for a few nights away to chill. Lots of space and decor was lovely. Enjoyed by a family for some chilled out time close to the sea Nothing. A super place to stay
- Martin (8/5): Lovely relaxing quiet stay in a beautiful part of Norfolk - Lovely quiet location
Close walk to the pub and sea
A very relaxing stay Nothing

- Sue (10/5): Loved every minute. Beautiful property. It's a must stay for touring that side of Norfolk. - The pictures do not do this place Justice, it is so bright ,welcoming, and had everything we needed and more. Having the pond or lake as a view was brilliant and was pleasantly quiet even though not far from road. Loved every second and wished we stayed longer. Great welcome package of drink and cake thank you. My only thing and this is so small, there wasn't a tea towel , and we were happier washing up in sink not dishwasher, but it'ssuch a small thing compared to the whole experience.
- Liz (8/5): Nice relaxing stay. - Everything inside the lodge is lovely but needs a bit of attention around the decking area. The outside seating needs upgrading as it sags down and has no seat pads, it gets a bit uncomfortable after a while.
- martin (10/5): Lovely location and peaceful - Location, cosy, quiet and clean Nothing
- James (9/5): - Very peaceful location. Comfortable and well equipped.
- WENDY (8/5): Lovely short break in a beautiful part of the country. - Comfortable, well equipped and nice that heating on for when we arrived on a cold wet day !
Will definitely book again.
- Meredith (7/5): Fairly comfortable, fairly enjoyable - Self catering, we did it ourselves Not easy to find spare toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, and the kitchen bin not obvious had to use our own bag.
Shower bit basic and lever very stiff to turn off.
Had to ask host for key code on day of arrival
- Christy (10/5): Peace & Comfort - First impression upon walking through the door was a very comfy and cute decor. The bed was very comfortable. Nice to sit out on the deck. Quiet area with beach nearby. A well equipped kitchen. Not really picky about the place. We were warm, comfortable and safe so nothing we didn't like.
- Halford (8/5): -
- William (8/5): very pleasant short holiday in small village. - Super location on edge of small but part overgrown lake among a development of similar chalet bungalows with reasonable space between the units and parking area to the front.Overall the property is in good condition but the raised rear balcony of timber construction needs maintenance for the surrounding handrailing which could pose a hazard. The only problem we had was with the central heating which was sorted out after the second day by the owner The owner should provide a detail instruction for the operation of the CH boiler and thermostat
- T H (9/5): -
- Thomas (8/5): - Location Lack of towels
- gemma (8/5): A very enjoyable and comfortable stay in a quiet and well positioned location. - Great location and very clean and comfortable facilities. Plenty of essentials provided in the bathrooms and kitchen - including plenty of loo rolls!! No mattress protectors on beds but additional bottom sheets provided the solution.
- Anoushka (7/5): -
- Lynn (8/5): Very enjoyable short break on Norfolk coast - Very nicely decorated and well equipped lodge on a quiet leafy park. Pub and shop within walking distance and easy walk to Sheringham across the cliff path. Nothing.
- elaine (9/5): Loved this place! Really well situated in a quiet village with a lovely pub just a short walk away. We booked a day boat - Gorgeous lodge on a quiet park in the village of Weybourne! Very well equipped with everything we needed and beds were really comfortable. Nothing not to like!
- Lorraine (7/5): We were Happy with our stay apart from the dew things we noticed. Not quite 5 star standard - Good location. Nice decor. Very quiet There were a few things that could have been improved on. Towels not very big and fluffy. We were there for 5 days no extra towels if got dirty. No bath mats or bath slip mat in bath. Door handle on bathroom door is loose. Screws kept falling out. Rail on steps outside very wobbly and one of the party was partially disabled so felt unsafe. Outdoor furniture didn't have very thick cushions and felt quite uncomfortable. We noticed that some knives in drawer were bent at ends and a frying pan was dirty.
- Peter (9/5): Lovely location, excellent facilities in accommodation all made for a peaceful stay. - N/A

- Lisaderby17 (10/5): Family Wedding in Norfolk - Very nice clean cosy lodge in a lovely part of Norfolk. Will definitely be back excellent. Everything was excellent.
- Sally (8/5): Very good - The location was great, everything worked, well stocked kitchen for cooking. We didn't use the outside space as it wasn't warm enough, but all the other bits... parking, the space of the cabin worked well for a family of four Shower was a bit stiff to turn off.
- Claire (10/5): Excellent lovely clean and comfortable -
- Jean (9/5): Enjoyed our stay was a great place to stay for a relaxing few days.Would highly recommend. - No shower screen on bath in main bathroom.

- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Joanne (9/5): Lovely outlooks on a beautiful and quiet site - Super super comfy beds
Lovely decor
Great location
- Lindsey (8/5): Very good - The lodge is very nicely furnished with everything you need, the outside decking is great, although it was too cold to use it in Feb. Lovely welcome basket of goodies. Unfortunately during our stay the whole park ran out of gas so we're quite cold without heating or hot water for 24hrs, however we used extra blankets and a electric heater to keep warm. The host did their best to get it rectified as quickly as possible, keeping us informed.
- David (8/5): Lovely location. - Lovely accommodation with really comfortable beds. Great location with easy access to lovely coastal walks. The host was really kind to leave us cake and prosecco to celebrate our anniversary. Host easily contactable. Cleanliness could have been better. There was a half eaten bowl of food left in the freezer and half an empty packet of biscuits from previous guests in the cupboards. Although the accommodation appeared really clean, this was very off putting.
- Viv (9/5): Warm, comfy and exceptionally clean - Very clean and homely Bathroom door handles were a little tricky as they were loose.
Lack of bin in kitchen
- Colin (8/5): Perfect for a quiet break, with all you need. - Everything No Ironing board, Outside light not working. Minor things. No bins for rubbish externally!
- Julie (10/5): Perfect in every way - The property was amazing. Absolutely stunning. Nothing you need but your clothes. Nothing
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic lodge with everything you could need for a comfortable stay.
- Alison (10/5): Amazing. Great accommodation, great location. Would definitely recommend - Decor fantastic, clean, comfortable beds and so well equipped. Host had thought of everything. Nothing!
- Gary (8/5): Short stay but enjoyable - Nice and clean modern Would have liked a booklet with info about the lodge and perhaps some info regarding nearby shops/ pubs etc
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Quiteness No rubbish bins
- Joe (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Location, cleanliness, manager advice and knowledge. First class. Nothing
- John (8/5): Wonderful long weekend with my elderly parents in a very cosy lodge. Definitely - Location was very peaceful and little traffic. Ideal location near beach, local shop and pubs. Host was just lovely, very helpful and friendly. There was nothing to dislike.
- Nikola (8/5): Homely feel lodge in a great location for favourable price. - The lodge was in the lodge park, but was very quite even if surrounded by other lodges, plenty of grass and walking paths for our little Jack Russell. Lodge was fully equipped with anything you need including toiletries. Very warm and homely feel inside with comfortable beds in fastastic location for exploring beautiful part of Norfolk, pub in walking distance just outside of lodge park which is always a plus :) Only think which let us down was the fact that lodge was advertised as with lakeside view, hovewer we couldn't see any lake as the area around the terrace was very overgrown and bushy.
- Nicky (10/5): A very relaxing stay in a lovely place with everything you need, well equipped and extra touches make for a perfect stay - Lovely and airy with everything you could need, nice decking overlooking the water, very relaxing Nothing
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect place for a week off, plenty of space. Very clean too
- Susannah (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful outside decked veranda - loved it! - Extremely comfortable, light and airy and very well decorated with everything needed! The veranda area was particularly beautiful overlooking the water and lots of mature trees - very peaceful lovely for sitting and reading or having a meal. The outside decked veranda was huge and catches the afternoon sun perfectly - we loved sitting here - and were surprised that there were hardly any flies or mosquitoes given the proximity to standing water. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back for longer next time!
- Carneika (10/5): Great place for families. - The place was lovely and spacious. Having a bath and shower was really helpful with the little one. It was all so clean. We couldn't work the coffee machine. That was probably more on us than the hosts. But instructions would be a good added extra.
- Vanessa (9/5): A restful and delightful stay. - Welcome basket. Decor - tasteful, light and uplifting. Peaceful setting. Excellent quality china, appliances. Clean and inviting. All good.
- Mark (10/5): Great lodge in a great location. - Great location near the centre of the village yet nice and quiet. The lodge itself is really nicely furnished and very well equipped with some nice touches that make it feel special. The beds were probably the most comfortable of anywhere I’ve stayed.
The icing on the cake was the village pub, The Ship, where the food and service are excellent- way better than standard pub menus. Nothing.
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, modern and everything was thought of ...thank you 🙂
- Vivienne (8/5): A nice short stay for us. Bit of confusion over the key but was soon sorted - Location was good
Chalet was light ,airy and modern
- June (10/5): Fabulous stay fabulous host - Great location with a pub and shop in easy walking distance All perfect
- Joanne (10/5): A very enjoyable short stay - A lovely, quiet place for some R&R. Well kept and clean. The cake and fizz were a most welcome surprise
- Robert (8/5): Lovely lodge & very clean - Lovely, clean lodge! The weather!!!
- Simon (9/5): What a beautiful weekend getaway treat - Sweet, comfortable, clean and a joy to visit Absolutely nothing
- Reece (8/5): Would definitely recommend and come again. - The location was ideal. Quiet and with beautifully kept gardens. In all a pleasant surprise and especially welcome as the first holiday approaching spring, with many blossom trees out. The beach was in easy reach to walk or go by car with reasonable charges too. A good village pub and a busy coffee shop come village store that has just about all you could need if you had forgotten something when staying self catering. The church was also open every day, which is not so usual these days, although it was really cold inside with no signs of heating.
- Samantha (10/5): A great experience and I will definitely be returning. - The accommodation was very well presented, extremely clean and well equipped. The location was very scenic and peaceful and just a short walk away from a lovely country pub. The host was available should I have needed her. I would highly recommend.
