• Cristi Plimbărețu' (10/5): A perfect accommodation near Tromso to see Northern Lights - One of the best accommodation we have ever stayed: Very warm (although outside was a terrible weather), floor heating in the bathroom and a very well equipped kitchen. The host, Eirik, and his son, Knut, were very nice. Eirik helped us a lot with tips for Northern Lights and, because of him, we have managed to see it... in Finland (the weather was awful in Tromso during our trip). We were two couples and the apartment was perfect for us. Due the fact that the kitchen had everything, the meals were so easy to prepare. Nearby is a supermarket, Eurospar, with everything. We have rented the car from Eirik, a Volvo that was perfect for us. For sure, that is a perfect accommodation and, if you are lucky, you will have the chance to see Northern Lights from the living room. Nothing to complain!
• Yvon (10/5): Great for northern lights! - We knew we needed a car, because we chose this apartment to be out of the center. We’re really happy we did! From the space you can watch the sky and we saw the aurora both nights! The apartment is very spacious, has good heating, enough parking place and a fully working kitchen to prepare a decent meal. Beds are comfortable and the host is fast with responding. The pressure in the shower isn’t the best, but good enough for a few days! The only downside for us was that you can hear people walking quite well, also we heard the music from upstairs but it was during decent hours.
• Arkadiusz (9/5): Apartament with sea view not that far from Tromso - - beautiful view from the window - reasonable price comparing to closer to Tromso locations - apartament was warm - generally good experience you probably need a car to get there (especially during the weekend), on standard days there are some buses, on Saturday still few, but completely nothing on Sunday - it is not something I did not like - it is more about information
• Corinna (10/5): Bellissimo soggiorno - L'appartamento si trova a circa 15km da Tromso, raggiungibile in circa 20/30 minuti di auto dalla città. Nonostante possa sembrare un contro per noi ha rappresentato un enorme pro. Abbiamo visto l'aurora 2 sere su 3 (la terza era nuvoloso) senza la necessità di spostarci in auto o prenotare un tour. L'auto ci è anche servita per fare alcuni giri nei dintorni durante il giorno. Passano parecchi bus ma non consiglierei questo alloggio senza un mezzo di trasporto proprio, soprattutto in inverno. L'appartamento era come da foto, nuovo e ben tenuto, pulito, ampio e caldo. Eravamo solo io e mio marito ma è vivibilissimo anche in 4 adulti! La cucina è ben fornita di tutto, abbiamo cenato a casa tutte le sere facendo la spesa a Tromso appena arrivati. Consigliatissimo se cercate un posto tranquillo e fuori dal centro di Tromso, che nonostante le dimensioni può facilmente diventare caotico!!

• Francisco (9/5): Casita - Ubicación perfecta fuera de la ciudad a 20m en coche y muy tranquila. Parking en la misma puerta. Todos los elementos para no necesitar que llevar nada. Lavadora. Secadora. Secador. Útiles de cocina de todo. Con cielos despejados se ven auroras y a 4km sin farolas aún más. Camas muy cómodas. Y todo muy cálido. Es un bajos. El dueño vive justo arriba. Dormimos en el protector porque las sábanas las vimos al final sucias en un cuartillo. Creíamos que era así.

• Peter (10/5): Great, welcoming, private, cosy. - It was a nice apartment under the owners' house. They were very friendly and came for a chat, but respected our privacy as their guests. The facilities are well done and it was very cosy and warm, even though outside it was -11 C. We had a rental car, which was very useful, but a bus drives by the house at regular times, so you can always take public transport into the city. There is a kitchen that you can use, with a supermarket about 15 min away by car. The northern lights were very visible from the house and the terrain around the house. Even more so than on top of the mountain by Fjellheisen cable car. We could see it way better at the apartment than there. It is a bit outside of the city. But easily reachable by car or bus.
• Sean (10/5): Understated elegance. The views along the coast are beautiful, the accommodation very cosy a - Everything - great view of the ocean and adjacent island peaks, great location, friendly and flexible hosts. The apartment is very cozy and has plenty of room with adequate kitchen facilities for a short to medium stay. There is plenty of hot water with good water pressure. The washer/dryer facility onsite is a bonus and the host will rent out a fully winterised 4WD VolVo to you for a very reasonable price. There is plenty of walking and snowshoeing in the area to immerse yourself in nature, as well as beautiful drives to enjoy the surrounding countryside of the Tromso region. If you are looking to enjoy the Northern Lights, this is the place to view them. A short hike up the hill out back leads to a forest area with essentially no light pollution. Be aware that for maximum independence, your own transportation is recommended. There are busses into Tromso, but the schedule is understandably not so frequent and requires planning. You should stock up on victuals before arrival. There are a couple of large supermarkets with everything you would need, as well as petrol but they are located ~10 km away in the northern suburbs of Tromso. There are no local shops. It is possible to take the bus there and back but again, the bus schedule is not very frequent.
• Matteo (9/5): Beautiful stay - Cozy and warm apartment with a lot of space to relax and enjoy the stay. The kitchen has all the stuff needed. Car park in front of the house with a dedicate entrance. Great placement nearby aurora view spots.
• Jacob (10/5): Incredible property, hosts and location - The apartment was incredibly spacious, modern and clean. It was fully equipped with everything we could've wanted and was very comfortable. The apartment would comfortably fit 5 people, as long as there are 2 couples in that 5 (there are 2 double beds and 1 single). The views are spectacular and are exactly the sort of thing you go to this part of the world for. The apartment is very remote, so you can really appreciate the nature in your surroundings; across the road is a small beach and a fishing jetty and cars pass by infrequently. Our hosts were brilliant too - they offered to pick us up from the airport at a rate significantly cheaper than the local taxi firms and they dropped us back for free! The closest we came to an issue was when the battery in the fire alarm started going flat, and we had a new battery delivered to our front door within minutes of messaging the hosts. I would like to have considered how to get into Tromso from the apartment more before visiting. Busses are cheap and reliable but infrequent which can leave you stranded in Tonsvik in the absence of a car. Taxis are incredibly expensive, approximately £50 for a single trip to Tromso - but busses are always an option barring Sundays when they don't run. Absolutely not a reason to not stay at this apartment, but I urge any travellers to think about transport and location more than I did. I'd recommend the "Svipper" app to anyone who wants to investigate the busses, the bus stop across the road is called "Tonsvik Fisk".
