Coote (7/5): Good - Loved how close it was to the beach and the main beach clubs Was a bit musty smelling when we first arrived, but we all ended up loving the place as was a massive place with pretty much 1 bathroom per bedroom.
Bernice (1/5): Bad - We did NOT stay in this villa because from the moment we arrived, it was clear the place was not well-maintained (completely different from the pictures). The villa was infested with insects and mosquitoes, ants were crawling all over the utensils which was completely unhygienic and unacceptable. The curtains and sink were stained. (Refer to the pictures attached I could only upload 4 there are more pictures as proof) We contacted the host immediately to inform him of these issues and requested a full refund but he refused even though we could not stay in this unsanitary place. As a paying customer, I expected a high standard of cleanliness and comfort, which were clearly not met in this instance. I kindly asked for a full refund of the amount paid for the booking, as the villa did not deliver the basic conditions required for occupancy. We immediately booked another place and moved out right away. We’re currently still in the process of trying to secure a full refund. The entire experience caused significant inconvenience and additional expenses that could have been avoided if the villa had been maintained as promised. This has been the most frustrating experience any of us have ever had, especially considering how many times we revisited bali and stayed in countless of villas.
