- Jorge (10/5): Great resort to stay at in Tenerife. - The hotel itself. It’s the second time we’ve booked a stay at Ritz Abama, and both have been great. The golf course is barely 2 minutes away via a short transfer the hotel provides, and you can walk back from the course to the resort through a lovely road overseeing the 10th hole (a breathtaking hole). This time however, and I’m sure it was just occasional, there were many flies around the property at all times. It is not an important issue at all, and doesn’t change my perception regarding the hotel, but it was kind of annoying.

- Alexandra (9/5): Loved it, its a great place to relax - Loved everything, the staff was lovely, breakfast was nice had alot of diversity, for dinner we went at Verona that was very tasty. Cleaning in the room multiple times per day. Loved the atmosphere. The only thing i didnt like was coffee, i think they could improve to have better coffee outside. It was better Nesspreso from the room than the one at the bar. And also the food at the pool was not the best

Concierge Service sehr gut. Frühstücksräume viel zu laut, zu wenig Servicepersonal im Verhältnis der Gästeanzahl. Viel zu viele Kinder. Frühstücksbuffet deshalb entsprechend ungepflegt. Hier sollten die Bereiche unbedingt besser getrennt werden. Barservice auch nicht 5 Sterne, man musste die Drinks/Snacks alle an der Bar direkt bestellen, Tische nicht aufgeräumt. Shuttle Service zum Beach/Golf: lange Wartezeiten, Autopark eine Katastrophe, nicht geputzte Fahrzeuge, unfreundliche Fahrer. Keine Hilfe beim ein und aussteigen. Lärm von der Strasse schade, da das Hotel an sich ja gut und ruhig gelegen ist. Strand auch sehr ungepflegt für ein 5* Haus. Abends wurde leider nicht wie üblich alles in Ordnung gebracht. Viel zu viele Stühle, zu kleine Pools. Beach Bar im Verhältnis zu teuer.

- Melissa (8/5): Super nice hotel but a bit poorly organized - the rooms are excellent and the staff are very nice! the beach is also quite special One week before our arrival we got an email from the concierge informing us that services like the kids club and all restaurants needed to be booked in advance; but at that point, everything was already fully booked. We were expected to eat snacks in the lobby every day for dinner. I hope the organization can do a better job in the future at right sizing their staff and better planning their processes. The staff was really nice and try to accommodate us but it felt like they were fighting against a system that was ok to let hotel guests go without the chance to eat a restaurant throughout our entire stay.

- David (8/5): Hôtel très agréable - Hôtel avec architecture très jolie. Belles et grandes chambres avec belle vue sur la piscine et la mer. Plusieurs piscines agréables. La plage est jolie mais loin très en contrebas (250 marches pour y accéder). Salle de sport très bien. Petit déjeuner varié et bon. Le personnel est très agréable et compétent . Bel hôtel pour y rester plusieurs jours mais cher pour les prestations proposées La literie n'est pas digne d'un hôtel de ce standing (couchage mou qui fait mal au dos, oreillers trop mous). Odeur d'égout dans notre salle de bain et autres endroits de l'établissement. Plage très lointaine et funiculaire en panne (le petit train qui y va ne passe pas assez fréquemment). Petit déjeuner identique pendant 8 jours, un peu de variété serait appréciée. Plusieurs restaurants dans l'hôtel mais très chers et aucun adapté aux enfants ou adolescents. Et trouver un restaurant hors de l hôtel est compliqué car villes assez moches. Beaucoup d'enfants en bas âge donc beaucoup de bruit au petit déjeuner et restaurants. Tennis et golf plus loin et pas gérés par l hôtel ce qui est dommage. Plusieurs salles du spa ne fonctionnaient pas
- Loetitia (10/5): Reposant et très agréable - L’hôtel est parfait tout est prévu sur place, le personnel est très prévenant, pas besoin de sortir pendant votre séjour. Les chambres sont grandes et propres. Merci à la direction d’avoir prévu une très gentille surprise pour l’anniversaire de ma fille, elle a été très touchée ! Nous avons testé trois restaurants dans l’hôtel qui étaient excellents. La piscine calme réservée aux adultes est très appréciable. Très compliqué d’avoir accès aux soins du spa car c’est toujours complet mais nous avons quand même pu réserver un créneau de deux heures en famille, et c’était très agréable. Le 3eme lit adulte dans la chambre est un peu petit, c’est plutôt un lit enfant.

Bar staff were also great. The Mirador restaurant struggled with allergies and was clearly understaffed. Some lifts were out of order (hard for a visitor recovering from a broken leg). Breakfast was a zoo and the food there left no lasting impression. Reception only has one key printing machine and when your key stops working it's a long wait. Also the concierge had recently moved location - but there were no signs...

- Lucy (8/5): Lovely stay for 4 days - Lovely large room with balcony, clean and well equipped. Nice setting and relaxing. The beach is fantastic and the restaurant down there is nice. Breakfast was very good, I’m not usually a hotel breakfast fan. Our room was next to the service lift so we were woken every morning by the staff talking loudly and the noise of the trolleys. We would have like to been able to use the Retreat pool but it wasn’t available to us as we were not in a villa.

Tolle Ausstattung mit Golfplatz, fantastischen Restaurants (Mirador mit sensationeller Aussicht, Akira Back mit großartigem Fisch und Verde Mar mit kreativem Konzept), wunderschöner Aussicht und sehr schönen Zimmern. Tolles Frühstück, selbst zu Stoßzeiten nicht zu voll, sehr gut präsentiert und beste Qualität. Erholung pur! Man merkt an wenigen Stellen, dass das Hotel schon etwas älter ist, aber man muss genau hinsehen. Etwas ärgerlich, dass man für das Spa zahlen muss.

- Hannah (10/5): A truly exceptional hotel. - We had a fantastic week at the Ritz-Carlton Abama. The hotel is stunning, very clean, comfortable rooms with great amenities. The private beach is gorgeous and the “train” that runs to and from the lobby is a huge hit with smaller guests! The food at all the restaurants is superb, and the breakfast was exceptional every morning. Two truly stand out elements were the staff (couldn’t do enough for you, all lovely) and just how great it is for smaller guests. We travelled with our 22 month old and it was as stress free as you could hope. Kids are very welcome, kids under 4 eat for free in the restaurants, and they even provided a nappy bin in our room. The kids club is also a great space to play with a smaller room for toddlers. We’ll certainly be back! The coffee wasn’t great and the service in the Lobby Bar could be a little slow in the evenings.

- franz (7/5): Fair - Die Unterkunft ist leicht antiquiert. Sauber aber nicht mehr modern. Leider muss man die Restaurants weit im voraus buchen sonst gibt es kein Platz. Der shuttleservice von A nach B dauert meist sehr lange. Die Bar ist zw 18-19 Uhr überlastet. Lange Wartezeiten.

Personnel des restaurants et à l'accueil très aimables Le service au bar est une catastrophe. Nous y sommes allées tous les soirs prendre l'apéritif et nous y avons diner 2 fois. Le service est extrêmement lent (plus de 30 mn pour 2 verres de vins). Rupture sur 2 références de vin blanc au verre en cours de séjour. Cela fait beaucoup quand il n'y a que 4 références à la carte. Et pourtant l'équipe est très nombreuse. Gros souci d'organisation et d'efficacité. Sans compte les multiples erreurs sur les facures!
