- Marianna Tassioulas (1/5): - Horrible experience, staff were unpleasant and rooms had mold on celling. Would not recommend
- Ryan (8/5): -
- Karilin A (6/5): Great location. - Perfect location and clean. Beds were very uncomfortable (bad mattress) and the management could do more to renovate the hotel and make it nicer, decorate with mote charm and upgrade the bedrooms.
- Salli (8/5): -
- Daisy (9/5): - The location and staff were amazing, especially loved Chris and his customer service. Open bar is a huge perk and the building itself is gorgeous. Floors are not the cleanest and the water pressure was poor, but that sounds to be a common issue in Old San Juan.
- Eva (7/5): -
- Maria (10/5): -
- Oscar (8/5): Nice , well located hotel - Location, open bar, friendly staff -It was a hassle to find the perfect water temp on the shower, either it was scalding hot or too cold.
-We understand it is an antique property, but the floor in our room was very stained.
- Ian (9/5): Perfect location for Old Town and cruise port (10 min walk). - Clean, comfortable and welcoming - particularly at Midnight off a flight from JFK. Nothing not to like.
- Christos (7/5): -
- Heidi (8/5): -
- Joanna (4/5): Attention to guests once they arrive goes a long way if you want repeat customers. - Walking distance to popular attractions and great restaurants. Comfortable bed and cute decor. Thermostat set to 62 and no extra blankets…froze all night. Bring slippers for cold floor! Website announces open bar and help getting luggage up the stairs (no elevator). Communication great getting you to the property. Once there, good luck getting service at the bar or help with your luggage🤷♀️

- Jillian (9/5): We’ll be back!! - Great location. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Especially Christian! The rooms are small, but sufficient. Very clean. AC is great! While we didn’t use the open bar a lot, the wine was good. Saves a few bucks! The roof top has great views, but really needs a “pick-me-up”…. Once it’s neatened up and some new plants, it will be lovely.,
- Meltem (4/5): - Location is the only good thing about this hotel. It was one of the worst hotel experiences ever. The hotel doesn’t have elevators but it’s written that the staff will help carrying the luggages to the rooms. This is not true. They told us that they don’t have enough resources and we should carry our 3 heavy luggages.
The room was extremely noisy and we could only sleep 2 hours the whole night. If you sleep in the street, you could have the same level of noise.
The staff was definitely not kind and not helpful. We waited 15 mins for them to check in because they were busy in serving drinks in the bar. They never smile and act like we are staying there for free.
Before arriving to hotel, we received a message asking to download whatsapp because this will be their way of communication which was weird. Also we received a text message 2 days before the check in date with the link to make a payment to the hotel although we made the reservation via booking.com.
Bathroom was also not clean.
I don’t recommend this hotel.
- Teresa (4/5): We like San Juan but not being able to shower put a damper on the stay. The front desk just said it was an old hotel sn - Great location. Nice having a bar and coffee available. We didn’t have hot water the entire time we were there.
- Anna (6/5): Excellent location, kind staff. Overpriced and no elevator. - Excellent location right in the heart of Old San Juan. The personnel was very kind and offered us drinks upon arrival. Room was clean. Our room was very very small and the bed as well. There was not enough outlets in the room (especially next to the bed, there was only on one side of the bed) which makes it difficult to charge phones etc. Lighting was extremely poor as the room was "interior". Also there is no elevator and our room was on the 3rd floor so had to carry our luggage trough many stairs. I believe the hotel is quite overpriced for what it offers.
- amy (3/5): Beautiful spot but problematic room and bathroom. - Great location and beautiful views from roof deck Room was tiny with no window to outdoors. They told us we couldn’t flush toilet paper because of old plumbing. Shower was very hard to get to the right temperature.
- Lopez (9/5): -
- William (10/5): -
Lit petit.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Good location in Old San Juan! - The room. The view. The rooftop. The high ceilings. The complimentary beer, soda, coffee, water. All the signs. So. Many. Signs. Telling me what to do (or not to do) “Be quiet”. “Don’t throw trash here.” “Don’t stain the towels.” Honestly, it was like going back home to stay with my mom and dad.
- Steve (6/5): OK but pretty basic - Good location Small rooms, no lift, poor quality bed linen and towels
- Priscilla (6/5): Worked for 1 night not sure that I would recommend the place - Location was great and it felt safe. I think it needs a little bit of an uplift. Rusty bathroom rod is not a good look
- Juan Carlos (5/5): -
- Jasmin (8/5): Good location - The hotel is in a good location and has a nice lobby. It also feels secure as only guests are able to enter the hotel with a pincode. The free bar is also a nice touch. The staff however were not particularly warm, but they were helpful when we had queries. There was no cleaning service during the two nights we were there.

- Joseph (2/5): Great location, but don't assume hot (or even warm) water is available or will be provided. - The location in Old San Juan is perfect. It's centrally located and within easy walking distance to the entire area. The included open bar was a nice addition. The room was very small and since there is no elevator, the 4th floor location meant carrying bags up 4 long flights of stairs. This was clearly stated at booking, but no assistance with the bags was offered by hotel employees. This would be a good addition for the hotel and would have been tipped accordingly if it had been offered. I can't imagine not offering such a service to your customers, especially those staying on the top floors. This is, however, a minor complaint as we were able to manage our luggage up and back down the stairs without difficulty.
Of primary concern was the total lack of hot water in the room throughout the stay. After letting the water run for nearly 15 minutes (using both sides of the faucet since hot and cold were not marked), the water never warmed at all. I addressed this with the front desk and was told that the hot water can be 'tricky'. She gave me several tips on how to get it to work for the next morning. She also said that maybe too many people had showered recently and used all of the hot water. I'm an easy-going customer, so I didn't worry about the issue any more and assumed it was just the quirks of an old building. The next morning after trying the tips provided, no change. No hot water at all. I brought it up to the front desk again in the morning before checking out only to be given the same tips. When I told him that I'd tried those and they I still had no water, he asked which room I was in. His response was a "Huh. That one should work. We'll look into it." No apology was given and no adjustment to the nearly $400 room charge for the night was offered. I've never written a bad review before, but at nearly $400 a night, a hot shower is a requirement for ANY hotel, regardless of the age of the building. I don't care if it's an old building. To be brushed off without any consideration or adjustment to the charges is unacceptable.
- Tori (10/5): -
- juan (1/5): total rip-off (first bad review I ever wrote on any property) - After charging me at check-in, the attendant told us we could have paid about one-third of the price by booking directly. We then learned there was no elevator, even though our room was on the fourth floor, and we were blamed for not finding that information—it's still not shown on this platform.
The worst part was checkout: when I asked for help with our luggage, the attendant said, “That’s not my job — yo no soy un maletero.”
- Natalia (9/5): -
- Florin Beres (10/5): Excellent stay in Old San Juan - This property is located right in the middle of Old San Juan, close (walking distance) to everything. Although it doesn't provide breakfast, there are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch or dinner in the vicinity. Staff is very friendly and helpful and they are offering free drinks. We'll definitely stay here again. There's no elevator.
- Simone (7/5): - Struttura in centro ad old San Juan. Open bar. Check in 24 ore. Deposito bagagli. Staff cordiale. Camere vecchie e poco insonorizzate.
- Daniel (7/5): Not worth $415 for one night. The staff was awesome though - The staff was awesome! No hot water in the shower the entire time
- Daniel (2/5): -
- Ashley (5/5): Outstanding staff but old hotel that had issues. - The staff was very good!! It was nice that beverages were included. It was noising at night outside (hear the street noise including parade late at night) noisy to around 2 am. Trash trucks came at around 5 am. No elevator and we had to carry our luggage upstairs. Water pressure was low and there was no hot water. It is noted that there was a water shortage in old San Juan. It would be nice if there was a dresser for clothes.

- sayantan (3/5): Good location. Terrible facility and staff. Avoid. - Location Space. Bathroom had no space to even move .
The staff DOES NOT help you to move the luggage, no elevator. Very bad experience

- Tatjana (1/5): Filthy! - Filthy, and the worst i. Over 60 years,of travel and more than 300 nights per year in hotels. The filth was, incredible. Needed to where slippers in bathroom to avoid the filth. Do not think about staying at this property.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Rogelio (3/5): The hotel has a great location, but it's a bit dirty and they don't clean the rooms daily. -
- Richard (10/5): -
- Agnes (8/5): -
- Leticia (7/5): -
- Michael (9/5): Absolutely great staff -
- Leigh (9/5): Quaint and nice location. Friendly staff. Enjoyed wine and rum punch! - It was clean, very small rooms with no closet but had a rack and foldable carts for luggage. Third floor was a brutal climb. I’d stay again but leave luggage downstairs and ask for second floor.
- C Breuer (5/5): -
- Douglas (3/5): Avoid this overpriced disappointment - Location good for Old San Juan First room…A/C didn’t cool and sink didn’t drain.
Second room after we informed desk clerk of above was smaller, but A/C and sink worked.
Open bar selection limited.
No bellhop to carry bags up stairs, since no elevator.
Overall, place was either dingy or dirty.
Priced at $275 with taxes…very pricey.
Would not stay here again, nor recommend.

Il Personale Nulla
- Danielle (10/5): - It was in a great area, but away from loud bars. The bed was a bit sunk in.
- David (9/5): -
- Kathryn (7/5): Good location and stay in Old San Juan - Good location, excellent aircon
- Christina (9/5): Cute and convenient stay - The location was perfect and the hotel was very charming. A historic building, so it shows some of its age, but that is part of the charm. Staff was responsive. The available beverages in the lobby was a nice perk. Nothing
- Jack (9/5): Great location, great staff. Free drinks in the lobby is a great touch - Location and staff were great Bed was uncomfortable
- Natasha (9/5): Muito legal, lindo e bem localizado! Só atencao que não ha elevador! - Quarto confortavel, open bar muito legal, rooftop muito bonito tambem. Bem localizado.
- Camilo (10/5): -
- Leo (7/5): If you drink a lot, this hotel is for you… if you like luxury and decorations that hotel isn’t for you… - Lobby, location and open bar Poor rooms… but very ugly rooms… very very ugly… bathroom soooo badd… so dirty… soooo ugly…
- Miguel (1/5): -
- Triphook (8/5): -
- Brian (8/5): -
- Manuel (10/5): -
- Emily (10/5): -
- Christian (8/5): - Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom could have done with more lighting
- Dídac (9/5): - location is spot on. the place is beautiful. the rooftop has a great view. and the staff is really nice, helpful, kind. it rained a bunch and i think due to electricity being down, a generator was started up, which was close to the room and really noisy.
- collado (6/5): Great boutique hotel in prime location . - The property itself was amazing from the aesthetics to the location to the ambience, everything was great Three out of the four nights that we were there, there was no hot water. So it made our stay uncomfortable. Emailed the hotel and never heard back
- correa (6/5): -
- Joseph (8/5): Great staff, great location, but an old yet beautiful building. Those looking for a 5 start hotel stay away. Those looki - The staff was amazing! All so friendly and helpful. Gave me local tips to the best food and nature spots. The location was in the center so I didn’t need a car. The rooms were nice and cold. I was allowed to stay in the lobby after checking out and enjoy the bar still. The hot tubs upstairs were not working. The upper deck had AC units leaking. The location so close to the street made it very loud at night during the mornings because of cars. There was no food options. The water pressure was horrible
- corn (8/5): -
- Minkie (8/5): - The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me navigate Old San Juan for my intended purpose there.
- john (9/5): Overall was a nice place to stay - Friendly staff, great location No elevator, small rooms
- Ronal meyo (7/5): -
- Chelsea (9/5): We had a great stay. Even being on the 4th floor with 50 pound luggages. Excellent location! - Location, they hold luggage, friendly, clean, comfy bed, nice shower, open bar was great but selections are very limited (two beer flavors, a house rum drink, champagne, red wine, white wine, sodas) The toilet on the 4th floor didn’t have much flushing power. The window in our room opened to the inside of the hotel.
- Carla (8/5): -
- Andy (6/5): - Nice location, friendly staff, tall ceilings, well communicated expectations for the hotel Expensive for the value received, definitely old building with some maintenance issues
- Irma (10/5): Awesome - Clean and great service
