- Gering (10/5): I was there with my Floriculture team and we loved it. Definitely better than staying in a hotel. - I loved the fact that you provided fans. I had forgotten mine, so it was a win win all around.
- Katherine (9/5): I would certainly book again!!! enjoyed our stay. - Very Clean, host was very responsive to questions. Extremely comfortable beds. Host thought of everything we could have needed. Check out was simple!! I would most certainly book again!! Love the commitment to the Bee decor Theme! I would recommend some tea bags and Honey lol! Conveniently located near all you could need. Gas , groceries the college, and dining. I was concerned it would not be quiet based on location but We had no issues. I did hear a train in the night once. We were on the go a lot so did not really hang out during the day.

- Amy (3/5): - It’s close to a lot in Stephenville and the Bee theme is cute. It’s not in a good part of town, and it’s a little scary if you have to come and go; especially after dark. They charge $100 cleaning fee, but expect you to take the sheets off the bed and take the trash out.
We were scheduled to stay 2 nights, but because of severe weather, American Airlines suggested we cha he our departure date. I called the number on my confirmation and notified them of this, as soon as we checked in on the first day. The person who answered made it clear we would not be refunded anything, even though we were leaving due to safety and would be out of the house by 6:30 a.m.; more than 24 hours before check out time.
- Teresa (10/5): We needed a place to stay while visiting family and this home was so perfect! - This is a charming house in a great location! It had everything we needed. I loved the coffee bar and we were very comfortable.
- Mike (9/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay here in this pleasant little home. - I liked how cozy the property was. My family liked how the rooms weren’t too far apart, given the layout. The rooms were a decent size as well. I didn’t like that there was only 1 restroom. That caused a few inconveniences along the stay.
- brandon (9/5): - We liked it was walking distance into town and right by Tarlenton.
- Hodges (10/5): -
- Beatty (10/5): We had a great stay in very comfortable accompdations - It was cute, clean, and had all you could want. Nothing
- Susan L. (9/5): - Backyard is fantastic Beds are very comfy Needs more front porch lighting
- Margaret (6/5): A combination of comfy and clean, but with a few inconveniences. - No breakfast was provided, but the kitchen was equipped with cooking utensils if you wanted to make breakfast. Location was convenient, but not in a particularly attractive neighborhood. Back yard was a good size and fence was secure, which was important for us as we were traveling with our dog. House appeared neat and clean, snacks and bottled water were provided, as well as Keurig coffee maker and a variety of coffees and hot drinks.
Towels and sheets/pillow cases were very soft, pleasant to the touch. Beds/mattresses were supportive/comfortable.
The manager was considerate to allow us to check in at 2pm, rather than their usual earliest check-in of 3pm. Ceiling fans turned on/off along with the ceiling light in bedrooms, and cords for operating fan and lights separately were too short to reach. This meant, if you wanted to sleep with a ceiling fan on, you would have to sleep with the light on. There was a floor fan in one of the closets, but it was a little noisy. As with many hotels these days, the beds had a sheet and a covered duvet. The sheet alone was insufficient, but adding the duvet made it excessively warm. Thus, the fan was required, and it rattled and kept me awake.
The TV's were not working due to internet interruption. We were texted instructions for resetting the WiFi, but failed to notice the text til the next morning as we were checking out, which was required at 10am.
The back yard was accessed through a door leading out from one of the bedrooms. You stepped out onto a small porch, and there were two fairly steep steps to ground level. There was no railing or other hand-hold available, and steps were slippery due to rain, so it was difficult for me (I'm in my 70's) to navigate the steps safely. There was no porch light that we could find in the dark, so we used a flashlight when we let our dog out at night. We did discover the next morning that a string of lights were hung over a little patio area just outside the back door, and could apparently have been plugged in for lighting the back yard. I'm not sure I would want to plug it into the outdoor outlet in the rain, though.
The bathroom was tiny, with a very small sink and mirror and combination tub/shower. However, there were plenty of towels, hand towels, wash cloths available.
A $100 cleaning fee that was tacked onto the bill was, in my opinion, excessive.
- Shiloh (10/5): Best little home in town! - This was my 4th time staying at this property. I’ve always enjoyed the stay here and always feel like I’m coming home when I do. The beds are super comfortable, there are plenty of blankets to cozy up with on the couch, there are TVs in every room, snacks for the choosing, and a full kitchen with all the plates and utensils you need. Place is exceptionally clean and every detail was well thought out. Can’t say enough about how much I really love this property. 😊
I only wish no one else had found out about it! 😂
- Hector (6/5): Pleasant - I guess the AC.. Heather is not working good.. all night was at 58..
- Eryn (9/5): This ones at the top of my list! - Darling little place with a great backyard, perfect decor and comfortable beds! Kitchen was well stocked- hallelujah there was coffee!, AC was nice & cool. Host was accommodating and responsive. We ran out of paper towels- first world problems! LOL
- Margaretha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jerome (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gina (10/5): It was an awesome stay. - Everything No laundry detergent and toilet paper
- Shiloh (10/5): Cutest little home in a quiet oasis! The Hive Stephenville checks all the boxes! A+++++ - This was our 2nd time staying at The Hive and we just adore this place! We all felt very at home here and very welcomed. There are snacks if you get hungry, water bottles in the fridge if you forgot to bring your own, and Netflix already signed into for your viewing pleasure! The host even remembered that I have an allergy and get migraines from certain perfumes or flowers and they unplugged any plugins that may have been there and even left an air purifier running in the bedroom that I sleep in while there. So very thoughtful! My small dog loves this house as well and is spoiled by the large, fenced backyard and the close walking distance to a nice park and trails. We will be back as many times as they will have us! We truly found a gem with this listing! I honestly don't really have anything negative to say about this place. If I had to get knit-picky, I guess I could say that I wish the TVs in the bedrooms were larger but this is definitely not a deal breaker or anything that would keep me from coming back. And let's face it, no one rents a home away from home to sit around and watch TV the whole time!

- Karen (9/5): Great relaxing stay … very accommodating! - Roomy… everything was so clean and new ! The ac was having a hard time keeping up with the heat … thank goodness there was one mobile fan … each room could use one (master has ceiling fan) bathroom was really warm no air blowing in there.
- Aaron (10/5): The Hive made you feel right at home. Very cozy. We can’t stop buzzing about it! - Loved the cute bee and beehive decor throughout the Airbnb. Very cozy. Everything was so clean and organized. Had everything we needed to accommodate our stay. Wife and I will definitely be staying here in the near future. There is literally nothing we didn’t like about this Airbnb. Everything was just perfect for us. We just wish we could have stayed longer.
- Daily (10/5): The energy here is pure joy! - I loved everything about this property! It was welcoming from the very beginning! No detail was left unattended. The host was super communicative. All the appliances worked properly. There wasn’t anything needed that we didn’t have. And the neighbor was absolutely precious to visit with! Honestly… nothing! If they ever decide to sell it, I hope they ask me first!! ♥️
- Tommy (8/5): Very good - very cute! love the decor!
