Well trusted community. We were greeted with a good morning and a smile everyday. Fresh food Outdoor BBQ was great! I Invited family for dinner which was not a problem they were definitely welcomed, Also the onsite supermarket is a hidden gem !!! I would stay here 100x over I was hoping for more activities to do within the hotel but the island of St.Vincent had that covered so it was not an issue. The main point is the hotel was perfectly clean, tidy, safe & friendly & all the must-haves were there. I stayed in mid January which matters , I think it’s more quiet in Jan

First, it took a while for us to be waited on, then it took long time for the food to reach the table. Dinner was the same situation. But the food was good. - Katia (9/5): - Amazing place, people, and setting. Recommend rooms with view on the marina. With 3 places to eat at the marina, you have always a place to go. People working at the hotel and marina are amazing. The rooms are very comfortable with a balcony and you hear the waves. No road nearby, just the life on the sea. I also recommend Serenity diving at the hotel, A super nice and extremely knowledgeable scuba diving team! You can also walk to a desert beach at the end of the peninsula through the beach and the abandoned resort which is pretty cool. We loved the Blue Lagoon and all what is around.

- Kathlyn (9/5): Great place to stay! - Adjacent to the Tradewinds base which made it very easy for us to embark on our catamaran adventure. Has a very well stocked store, the Loft was a great place to dine right in the hotel. Also had an ice cream store with great ice cream and other snacks. A second restaurant on the property was also a good choice. Hotel was right on the water. And most delightful, the staff were all so nice and helpful with advice, services and any thing we needed.

I love that your staff greet me by name at checkin and my devices pair automatically. On-site mini-mart is always a great draw - I always forget something! Des at the restaurant is helpful, efficient and welcoming. No complaints!

- Takayoshi (8/5): Convenient, comfortable stay on a beautiful marina! - The Blue Lagoon was a great stay for our first time in St. Vincent. Located between the airport and the main town of Kingstown, we felt centrally located and within a good driving distance of most places we wanted to go to. The hotel grounds were great, with a nice pool and lounge area, a beach area with a bar, and a few restaurants/cafes. The marina was a nice touch, a lot of the people staying or coming through seemed to be for the marina. The beds were very very comfortable and we slept soundly with strong AC. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The WiFi was strong and helpful for me as I was working from the room. We were only allowed one room key which, being two of us staying would have been convenient as we were sometimes doing different things. The cafe and restaurants were convenient, but not the best of quality for the price.

We were in room 9 directly on top of the entrance to the Marina so noisy especially at the weekend from 6.30 am as boats arrive back and prepare for following weeks trips. Ice cream/ breakfast cafe playing music from 8 am onwards. Swimming pool no toilet close by and need to bring drinks from supermarket or bar. Ant infestation bitten alive One night we had music playing until 2.15 am when I tried to call reception the phone in the room had no cable attached advised manager next morning free breakfast offered Loft restaurant great venue and view food cooked but luke warm at best Other restaurants within walking distance
- Richard (7/5): Convenient location. Nice bar and bed. - I liked the Loft Bar. The bed was comfortable and the room had a balcony with a nice view over the marina and out to sea. The cafe offered snacks, good ice cream, coffee and soft drinks. The room could do with a small fridge. Ordering food in the restaurant was hap/hazard. Our main course in the evening was forgotten about. The breakfast came with out jam or marmalade. Orders for tomatoes and granola had been forgotten. Reception staff were a bit brusque.

The place has serious issues with mosquitos, we had dozens in the room. The pool was not very clean and the pool area not very welcoming.

Restaurant service upstairs was appalling. Slower than slow, disinterested staff and the food for breakfast was horrible. kept having to repeat requests for water and waitresses were more interested in their phones than serving customers. Ground floor restaurant had one very friendly waitress and the rest of the staff were not friendly at all. Not sure if this is affiliated to the hotel but the supermarket staff were rude and unhelpful as well. Very disappointing to report given that front of house staff and security were delightful.

I enjoyed the “The Loft restaurant and bar” our bartender and server was great. Very attentive. Breakfast was just as great as dinner service. The cashier was not polite, at the grocery store. Purchased a bunch of snacks and drinks. She rang me up, I paid with my card, after the purchase went through I asked for a bag and she told me it cost 50 cents. Why would you not ask je if I needed a bag before hand so you could charge me the same time as the snacks. Her attitude was not polite or inviting as I am a tourists to this country. Before booking the room, I called the hotel to confirm If they had beach access I was told by Cassandra (Front desk) that they didn’t have direct access but If I was a guest at Blue Lagoon, I would have access to Coconut Grove beach club, however upon arrival to Blue Lagoon and check-in, I was given the same information. When I walked over to Coconut Grove Beach club, I was told they are not open until Thursday. This was very disappointing as I booked this hotel based on the fact I had access to a beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. Despite the inconsistent information, I did try to enjoy the rest of my stay.
