- Matt (1/5): - This property has continuously attempted to charge my credit card multiple times. They have successfully stolen more than $1500 from me and through fraudulent documentation een allowed to keep it. I would strongly suggest not staying with any property that is connected with "COZY CORNERS". THEY ARE CON ARTISTS AND THEY HAVE PERFECTED THE ART OF FRAUD. - Philip (1/5): Horrible - No breakfast was offered There was a lot of noise coming from the ventilation pump. The room was very cold, and the portable heater/AC was faulty. I could not sleep at all. No natural lighting; it felt like one was in a prison. I had booked for seven nights but had to look for another place after the first night. I also found some kitchen utensils dirty.
- Angel (1/5): BEWARE: Claustrophobic fire-hazard dungeon, sealed shut apartment coffin from bad horror movie! - That I was finally after several minutes of waiting finally able to get the property owner to text and respond to me after several failed attempts with Booking.com's website, app and the 888 overseas customer service rep telling me she couldn't "hear me all of a sudden" then hanging up on me after waiting several minutes on hold to even get through. This is a real review, from a real person who lives in the US, who actually saw this place in person. What is not mention is sealed foam & painted shut dark windows in all bedrooms, people smoking and drinking on top units, it was a fire hazard death trap coffin...nothing "cozy" about it. You are basically in a boxed coffin in the ground hoping the people partying above you don't set the place and you on fire. There is very limited parking on the street. Getting into the place itself was like going into a claustrophobic dungeon in a bad horror movie with a million different codes and keys. The only bed was a box spring and mattress thrown on the floor. The floor paneling was not even glued to the floor, moving and had areas of only concrete showing. After seeing this, we did not check out the place any further (were in shock) and left out of there SO FAST. I wouldn't put my dog here let alone another human being, and def you could NOT PAY ME TO STAY HERE. It was in a bad part of town and had homeless people coming up to me begging for money at my car door. Only one window to get out, which was very slim and a steep climb. No step ladder or stool by the window and people who are older, with back issues, and not slim would have a very hard time climbing out of it. None of this was pictured or even mentioned on the website. Owner said they would give me a refund, told me to go to Booking.com as they manage the money. Booking.com then turned around and said they wouldn't give me a refund because they property owner's changed their minds after complaining about fire code safety. BEWARE THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD DEATH TRAP! And they want a 5 star rating (as its a part of their wifi password-- give me a break)! It doesn't deserve 1 star. After a week of calling and talking to several people at Booking.com, I had to do a BBB complaint, and dispute charges with bank. The fact Booking.
