• Danai (6/5): - It's in a good location and convenient for that reason. I've stayed before and every time it's a little less clean, less looked after. Dishes and cutlery needed to be washed by us before use due to stains & food residue. When we changed the sheets I noticed the pillow covers and bed cover hadn't been washed in ages, there was little black bits and hair. There were no teaspoons. The safe was locked and the key to open it manually wasn't where the host said it would be. I had to fix their safe for them. And fixed the middle drawer that someone had previously removed and put back incorrectly. Each time we visit there's less attention to detail :(
• Florentina (8/5): perfect but if you dont mind the bar downstairs. - the property was perfect. very clean. the staff very nice and frieldy the main problem was with the noise. it is in a very nice neighbourhood and a nice walk from Syntagma BUT it is plave above a bar.. I am a sensitive person and dont like the noise.. and it was a buzz until 1 am during weekend when I sayed there. If you are a hard sleeper is not a big deal.. if not it could be anoying.
• Danai (8/5): Hosts accommodating and resolve any issues without hassle - The apartment looks newly renovated. I have stayed before, but forgot to leave a review. The first time we stayed in August last year, it was very clean and tidy and we had no complaints whatsoever. There is an oven and hobs, microwave, toaster, coffee machine with a few complimentary pods and a kettle. Also, a washing machine and drying rack. All the essentials you might need are available. The location is in a nice area in Pagrati and close to shops, a patisserie called Kallimarmaro, an ice cream place, the Mikri Vouli restaurant and coffee shops, as well as the Laiki (street market) behind the stadium that runs every Friday morning, for your fruit, veggies and eggs. Unfortunately, when we arrived on this latest trip, the apartment didn't appear to have been cleaned professionally and there was food residue on bowls, dishes, glasses, mugs, cutlery and cookware. I could tell the previous occupants had had eggs and rice (potentially egg fried rice?). My children also found used vapes and rubbish under the sofa, when we turned it into a bed. I would have given a lower rating based on the state we found it in this time, but due to the previous positive experience and the fact the host did put things right, and was accommodating with check in and checkout times, I have given it an 8. It's a shame because if it weren't for this issue, which had to be (and was) rectified, this cozy apartment could have got a 10. Also, don't rent a car, because you'll never find parking there! I would return, but the lack of parking spaces has put me off for next time.

• Helen (9/5): Relaxing stay ina modern apartment in the heart of Varnava square. - Clean, nicely renovated, good location. All the amenities you need, everything in working order. Plants give it a nice home-y touch. Exactly how it appears in the photos. Tiny little red ants (just a few) come out the drain in the bathroom after you take a shower. It’s an old building and so when the neighbours cook or smoke you smell in through the bathroom window.
