- John (10/5): Fabulous house. Perfect location. - Fabulous house in the perfect location as a base for exploring the wonders of South West Ireland. Nine of us stayed for a week. Comfortable, warm and well equipped. Bernie is a super friendly host (she built it with her late husband as their family home). Kenmare is a lively town 40 minutes walk away but taxi services are good. Loads of pubs doing food and fab live music. Pizza place will deliver. Excellent Chinese, but you have to collect. Aldi, Lidl plus lots of independent shops. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
