• Aneesa (6/5): Not great - Great location The shower door was broken and the drain work is all outside the shower. The toilet floor was not clean. Needs better cleaning.

• paula (10/5): Great Apartment - The apartment was spotless, the bed so comfortable, the view was fantastic - having a morning cuppa looking out at the sea was so special. The apartment was very well equipped, the balcony at the rear was such a bonus. The location is terrific for the beach and the town minutes walk away. Decor such fun 😊 communication with Carole very prompt. Would definitely stay again in the future. Would have liked to have a sweeping brush
• Lloyd (4/5): Bitterly disappointed. - The view was great. The bed was comfy. The location was good. It was quiet (ish). You could hear the traffic but we sleep with the fan on (which was decent) so it didn’t disturb us at all. Unfortunately the bad far outweighed the good. A real shame as this place could be really nice. But it needs a complete overhaul. Filthy! Toilet seat, loose and encrusted with dried urine, despite it having a ‘sanitized for your protection’ sash around it. Shower screen hanging off (dangerous), tiles, shelving, shower tray, all filthy. Fan heater sounded like it was about to rattle to bits. Water lukewarm, pressure abysmal, it needs a pump. Towels small and smelt of tobacco. Oven stunk of grease. Plate drainer was encrusted with filth. Sink grubby. Utensils a mish mash, with dirty teaspoons. No frying pan. Next door gave us one of theirs but that was bent and dirty. Hairs in the dressing table drawer, eyelash on the top. I could go on.
• Elliott (7/5): Fab location, warm and comfortable stay. - Beautiful sunrise and sunsets from the apartment windows while having a cuppa. Couldn't fault the location. It was comfortably warm in the apartment. Everything worked as in facilities and the shower. One evening I had to open the windows and rear door, as the smell of someone smoking from either below or next door came through into the apartment. There are a few small DIY details in the apartment which need attending to.

• marilyn (8/5): Review - The Apartment was lovely, loved the view of the seafront. Plenty of things to do if needed and lots of places to relax. Eastbourne is a great place. Landlady keeping you in touch on what to do on arrival and when leaving. Would advise having a bolt on the inside of doors to apartment on top floor for security and peace of mind for solo guests.

• Mrs. Vogel (9/5): Wir hatten fantastische 9 Tage in Eastbourne - in einer tollen Umgebung. - Die Wohnung war vom Bahnhof in 15 Minuten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und lag in der ersten Reihe mit Blick aufs Meer. Morgens kann man vom Bett aus den wunderbaren Sonnenaufgang sehen. Die Einrichtung war sehr bunt und gemütlich und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Terrasse war wunderbar zum Frühstücken. Ab 12:00 bis nachmittags gibt es dort auch Sonne. Bei Problemen war Carole sofort zur Stelle und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir würden wiederkommen. In GB wird der Strand meist durch eine Straße getrennt, sodass wir Nachts die Fenster geschlossen haben, um ruhig zu schlafen. Zum Kochen muss unbedingt der Abzug angeschaltet sein und das Fenster geöffnet, da es auch in der Küche einen Rauchmelder gibt (sonst gibt es Feueralarm). Das Treppenhaus ist sehr eng und es war nicht ganz einfach den Koffer über die 2 Etagen zu transportieren. Die Hauseingangstür ist etwas tricky und ich hatte so meine Probleme damit, die Tür von innen aufzubekommen.

• Philippe (9/5): - It's a lovely apartment overlooking the sea. It's clean, comfortable with no stale or cigarette smells. The decoration is great with lots of cheerful pictures and framed novelties on the wall. It has a little kitchen, ideal for making breakfast or light meals ( we just had cereal for breakfast and ate out). There is a nice, shielded balcony to sit on for a cup of tea or breakfast. The shower room and toilet are separate. It's a 5 minute walk to the pier and shops Carole - the owner - kept us fully up to date with how to get the keys for our apartment ( her communication was excellent, both before we arrived, during our stay and our departure). The apartment is the best I've ever stayed in. We will definitely book it again. Our apartment was at the top of the building with steep narrow stairs - not a problem for us but, not suitable for someone who has trouble climbing stairs. Also, the shower room and toilet are small spaces, so would not be suitable for very large people. However there are apartments on lower levels, too, so stairs would not be such a problem.

• Igor (9/5): - Clean, cozy, good location; the place had everything we needed, good quality towels and very comfortable mattress. Communication was great as well. The toilet cubicle is a bit on the small side, but functional and clean.
• Franca (9/5): I loved it has lot of fun and i was super confortable - It was clean and next to the beach i love it . It was close to lot of things bar, shops and restaurante. Had beautiful balcony it was amazing and quiet. The bed was super confortable and the area was great. Be honest there was nothing we didn’t like about the property i deffo what go again and i racomend 100’x cent.

• Paldrich (9/5): 6 night stay - Great location on the sea front with a lovely view. Comfortable bed. Clear instructions from the owner on collecting keys and information on the room and the area. The space was really good. The Wi-Fi was good. Good selection of kitchen equipment. With the windows shut there was remarkably little noise from the road in front. There was quite a bit of tea and coffee provided, although we had bought our own. We were lucky to get a parking space on the road almost in front of the apartment block, but obviously that is a bit of a lottery. I probably hadn't read the description properly so hadn't appreciated that we were on the 3rd floor. It was 50 fairly steep stairs to the top, so not for the unfit. It would have been nice to have one cupboard in the kitchen to store our own stuff. Not really an issue. We kept a bag of stuff in the living area.

• Tracey (9/5): Superb - The location and view were both fabulous. The apartment was well presented and had everything we needed despite the small size. We particularly liked the outside space which we were able to use as we were lucky with the weather. A bit too much knick knackery leaves limited space for personal items. The lights on the stairs didn't always come on very quickly.
• Nadina (9/5): Would recommend and stay here again. - The room has a nice size and is decorated so nicely. The view is fantastic being so close to the promenade. Would have loved to use the terrace at the back but not the right time of year. The shower lacked sufficient pressure but otherwise everything perfect.

The freezer could not be used as it was completely iced up and the glass lamp shades in the bedroom were broken. These two issues were quickly dealt with when reported.

There are lovely views and a sea breeze as well as a great outdoor area. The host has decorated the apartment beautifully and she has thought of every convenience. The bed is really comfy. and the apartment was really clean.Oh and the apartment is right next to two ice cream parlours! No complaints at all!

We had a look at some already and they are very nice. Carole, the owner was always kind and helpful. And the man who cares about the house as well.
• Glenn (9/5): Lovely post Christmas break to unwind. - Superb views across to the sea. Very comfortable, cosy room. Liked the quirky decor. Parking was really the only issue. We were lucky to get a space nearby on the first day, as roadside was continuously very busy, but otherwise it could be quite a walk which might be a problem with cases etc. Really not a criticism of the flat, but just something to be aware of.
• Creedon (7/5): loved it, my whole stay. - The view from the living room of the sea and beach was sooooo lovely; the roof rear balcony was nice when sunny and no neighbours about. the stairwells not designed with mobility needs fully taken on board. I did not like the stairwell from below leading into the kitchen area. A gate at the top of the stairwell/ kitchen would have made me feel safer.

The combination of everything made my stay in the apartment perfect. The location with sea views is ideal. The proximity to places to have breakfast (English, continental...), lunch, or dinner is perfect. The closeness to the city center and entertainment area is ideal. I can't fault it here. The truth is that the apartment has met and even exceeded my most optimistic expectations. 10 out of 10. A 5-star apartment.

• Kathy (8/5): Convenient home away vacay! - Great views and sounds of the sea. Close to the shops/amenities. Apartment has all the facilities required for a home away from home. Good communication from the owner. Maybe edit out some of the bric-a-brac esp. on dressing table - I need the space for personal items.
• Jacqueline (7/5): Seafront apartment - The location, the apartment looked directly onto the beach so nice view with easy checking in. Assistance was there when needed. Very friendly hosts. Property exceptionally clean. A heater was sent up to us even though we hadn't asked for one as it had started to get a bit chilly. Nice and thoughtful. Lack of storage. There were 2 bedside tables which didnt have any drawers so wasted space. It needs a chest of drawers. A little cramped in the shower but manageable. There is parking but very limited space so not always available.
