• yu tsun (9/5): - 房間乾淨整潔，環境安靜舒適，讓人住得很放鬆。民宿主人非常貼心，不僅幫忙叫車到浦佐駅，還會持續關心我們入住是否順利。冰箱裡準備了飲料和零食，甚至還特別招待我們吃西瓜，感受到滿滿的熱情與用心。這次住宿體驗非常愉快，下次若再到附近遊玩，一定還會再回來造訪！

• Matthis (6/5): Nice and clean but overpriced - The place was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful, suggested to pick us up from the station and helped us plan our stay. It was not clearly indicated at all that the bathroom was shared. The common areas had no heating despite the very cold temperatures (it was probably around 5 degrees inside the building). At the price that we were charged, I think that is not acceptable.

• 久連山 (10/5): 犬とワンダルタイム - 犬と一緒に泊まれるのが本当にありがたい！！ まだリノベーションして一年位の様で内装がすごく綺麗で清潔でした。滞在中ずっと大雨で濡れてしまい４泊したので洗濯機と乾燥機がついてたので、助かりました。オーナーさんは常に気遣ってくれて、サービスの名物スイカもご馳走になり幸せでした。泊まったお部屋は収納も沢山あったので連泊者には我が家の様に快適でした。 すぐ近くに観光地や魚沼酒造があり工場見学も無料でできるので、雨の日でも楽しめる場所です。また、ワンコとよろしくお願いします。 特になし

• Gökalp (10/5): Exceptional - One of the most comfortable and peaceful places I’ve stayed. The host was extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. She even offered to pick us up from Station and helped several times with our luggage. She gave us great recommendations about the area. The house was spotless, very safe, and felt like a warm family home. We truly felt at home. She even offered us some treats, which was such a lovely gesture. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a trustworthy, cozy, and heartfelt stay in Urasa. Thank you so much!

• Lya (10/5): I would stay again if in the area, there are quality ski fields 16 km away - Immaculate house with a lovely host who offers a complimentary ride to/from urasa station ( 1.3 km). Excellent kitchen and laundry facilities.
• Tsung-lun (10/5): Wonderful house - The owner is very welcoming. Although the accommodation is a bit far from the station, the owner's pick-up service makes it not a problem. The decoration of the cottage is very novel and warm, exceeding the original expectations. The kitchen is fully equipped and I would like to spend a week skiing at Hakkaisan next time. My family had a wonderful holiday in the beautiful countryside of Niigata.

• Nic (9/5): Superb - The owner was very friendly and helpful, though we were in touch only through messages. The house was clean and nice, with a spacious kitchen and living room. The house was cold when I arrived, but heaters were provided, so that was only initially a problem. At night some kind of water sprinklers on the roof (outside) were rather noisy. I assume they use them to keep the roof snow-free. Since it kept turning on and off, it was a bit bothersome, but nothing major.

• Huiyu (10/5): Exceptional - Kitchen facilities is sufficient to prepare meals during our 1 week stay. A very nice rice cooker is great for tasting rice during the rice harvest season . We use oven to grill fish, and make onigiri for take-out lunch There are only 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. We had no problem since the house was not fully occupied.

It is about 15 minutes from the station by foot but I went by car and there was parking.

The guesthouse is conveniently located within walking distance to the high-speed train station. Every day, our family enjoyed beautiful walks along the riverbank to the area near the station. The scenery around is picturesque, and we also appreciated the convenience of having several stores and restaurants nearby. A large hospital with a 7/11 inside is just a few hundred meters away, adding to the convenience. The entire house was immaculately clean and tidy. Our family of four, including two little babies, stayed on the second floor in a traditional tatami room, which was exceptionally comfortable. The kids had a great time playing and sleeping in this well-maintained and inviting space. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. They not only assisted us in planning our itinerary but also offered various other types of support that touched our hearts. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of foods and drinks, which showed a thoughtful attention to detail and made our stay even more comfortable. The area around the guesthouse is breathtaking, featuring both mountains and rivers. It’s an ideal spot for families wanting to experience the rural life in Japan. The natural beauty and peaceful environment are perfect for relaxing and enjoying time away from the bustling city. Overall, we were thoroughly satisfied with our stay and would definitely choose this location again on our next visit. We highly recommend this guesthouse to any traveler looking to experience the charm of rural Japan. It's a perfect retreat that combines the comfort of home with the beauty of nature, ensuring a memorable stay for all guests.
• Djana (9/5): Clean, comfy, friendly - The host is extremely friendly and welcoming. The place has a very homey feel to it and is extremely clean. The kitchen has a lot of nice snacks and drinks available in case you don't feel like going out. Bed and comforters are very comfy. Very down to earth and "no frill" home. Within walking distance from Shinkansen station and a few restaurants. This is excellent value. I would stay here again for sure. Everything was great.

The views all around are stunning- we stopped at Kiyotsu gorge, sightsaw the Uonuma Skyline, took in the mountain reflections in the rice terraces, and stopped at 3 foot baths in the area. They even allowed our dog to stay too! Highly recommend booking Urasa Cottage. Thank you for the hospitality and wonderful stay!

The place was extremely comfortable (all new) and made us feel at home immediately. We recommend staying and would enjoy to come back. The location is great to take a walk by the river and go skiing in winter. Nothing to mention here.

Linen was also new It was not a did not like, but share bathroom (it was really nice) and other people in the house leaving early were trying to be very quiet but it was unavoidable to hear them. It did not worry me and we left early too.

We could not lock the door of our room from outside, only from inside.
