- Andrew (10/5): Fabulous location, view, and people/hosts. - The hosts were really welcoming and extremely helpful during my stay. I drove to Rome one day from this location about 40 miles north of Rome. In Rome, not at their apartment in Otricoli, my car was broken into by vandals, they ransacked my car stealing many things. They assisted me greatly in dealing with this issue calling Peugeot in Terni to get the glass ordered. The day after this happened in Roma it rained. They were kind enough to let me park my car in their garage the day it rained. Unexpected and wonderful! The elevated view looking out to green countryside is fabulous. Next few times I went to Rome, I took the train. About 20 minutes away is Orte, ticket price 5.10...in Rome Termini in 45 minutes. I always stay close to the A1 Autostrada the main highway Rome-Florence. This little town is right next to the A1, making day trips easy. TV dead needs to be replaced, no hot water in the kitchen, wifi signal weak, I used my cell data and got by fine. These are great people I am sure they will address these issues.
