• Peter (10/5): A beautiful place to stay in a lovely town. Views to die for. Lovely owner. - Perfect location: in the centre of town, overlooking the river. Beautiful house. Tastefully refurbished. Lovely room and comfortable bed. All amenities and a few niceties. The owner, Olivia, is delightful and so helpful.
• Patricia (10/5): A very comfortable and welcoming stay - Olivia was very friendly and welcoming and we were made to feel comfortable. Location is excellent - very close to all local amenities and Llangollen is such a pretty base. No parking on site but it wasn’t difficult to find free on street parking nearby. It was a nice touch to have continental breakfast delivered to our room. We would definitely stay again.

Looking out over the river ànd the train🤩🤩 Breakfast was brought to our room how great is that? And Olivia is so nice! Warm and welcoming! Go Wrexham!💪 We had diner at Liberty Tapas and the food was delicious, great advice from Olivia We have enjoyed every minute at Riversdale and in Llangollen!! Absolutely nothing!😄
• Emma (10/5): Beautiful B&B in an amazing location with fantastic host that couldn’t do enough for us! - I chose this property following the reviews and I wasn’t disappointed, spent 2 nights in this beautiful accommodation to celebrate my partners birthday. Our room had a lovely river view, tastefully decorated and to a very high standard, had everything we needed from various tea’s, Welsh cakes, mints and fresh milk in the cute little fridge. Room was very welcoming and spacious, with all the facilities needed. Olivia was super nice, attentive and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, even down to a lovely birthday to celebrate my partners birthday. Thank you so much and know we will be visiting again soon! 5💫 Nothing to dislike - superb!

• Adele (10/5): Loved it! - This was an amazing B&B and well worth the price. Beautiful setting and right in the middle of town. Olivia the host was lovely, very attentive and brought us the most beautiful breakfast in the morning. Will definitely stay again. A very minor point was the bed had a footer which was a slight issue for my 6'4 hubby but we would still stay again as it was worth the squeeze!

• Geraldine (10/5): An idyllic and picturesque stay in a well loved town. - From the moment we stepped into the property you knew that it was a special place. Room 2 is out of this world. It is spacious with an amazing view and a simply glorious bathroom. Absolutely nothing to not like. For some I guess the fact that you have to take you luck with off street parking or a near by pay and display - however this was not an issue for my husband and I.

From the moment I arrived until our departure, every detail reflected thoughtfulness, care, and a genuine commitment to creating an outstanding guest experience. The hosts were friendly, warm and informative and made you feel really welcome. The room was spotless and the view from window was beautiful. Re location, it was close to the town, opposite the historical railway station, directly in front of the barge excursions and close to a number of relaxing and scenic walks. The continental breakfast was lovely and there was lots in both choice and volume. We now regret not staying another night. There was genuinely nothing to dislike.

We were upgraded to a lovely room with great views overlooking the river . We enjoyed our warm crossants and coffee and the rest of the thoughtful breakfast hamper watching the kayakers brave the fast river . Everything was lovely

• Carl (10/5): Wow!!! - WOW!! Where do we even begin?! If we could give more than 10/10 for this gorgeous home from home, we absolutely would!! Room 2 was outstanding! From it's amazing views, exquisite bathroom and everything little detail in between, this room had it all. Our hosts, Olivia and Georgina, were amazing. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and made you feel so welcome. They were everything you could hope for and more. We didn't want to come home but we would recommend and go back in a heartbeat! Thank you both for an amazing long weekend and all the best for your future, you so deserve it! It was my 30th birthday on our second day at the property, and the lovely hosts gave me an extra special breakfast which you could really feel they had put their hearts into. Nothing was ever too much. Communication was fantastic and very prompt. I'm also Gluten intolerant and again our hosts were more than happy to adjust my breakfast to my needs. Super attentive and happy to give us recommendations. Location was also prime, you literally walk out and you're on the River Dee.

Room was beautifully clean and very classy. Georgia was very welcoming & friendly, gave us loads of recommendations for food & things to do. • Davies (9/5): Lovely hosts, clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable, gorgeous and fresh continental breakfast. - The breakfast was the best continental breakfast we've ever had at a guesthouse. Don't be put off by the fact that it isn't a cooked breakfast. The choice, quality, freshness, and presentation were all way above our expectations. We were very impressed by the comfort of the bed, pillows and soft bedding. We stayed in room no3, we will choose one of the bigger rooms next time, so we can eat the breakfast at a table facing each other, but it was lovely and romantic sharing the breakfast basket between us sitting up on the bed. Riversdale is located literally across the road to the train station and very central to the town. We ate good food at the old Corn mill in the evening, and had a light lunch at the coffee shop in Plas Newydd the next day, which is an old Tudor-style house with beautiful gardens, formerly owned and created by the Ladies of Llangollen. It's about a minute and a half's drive from town, and worth a visit. We'll done to you two, good luck with your business. See you again in the future. Parking overnight at the (very closely located) council car park did mean we had to rush over for 8 am to place another ticket in the car. We were up anyway, but thought it worth mentioning. This would not be a problem for guests arriving by taxi, coach/bus, or train, and as long as you know, not a problem with car either.

• Helen (10/5): Luxurious Place To Stay In Llangollen (Close To Offas Dyke) - What a luxurious place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riversdale House in Llangollen. Olivia and George were so welcoming. Room 2 was so comfortable, with a fabulous bathroom and oh, what a view! I used the soaking tub (with provided bubble bath) multiple times to soak my achy muscles as we were hiking Offas Dyke. We also loved the breakfast hampers being delivered to our room! Thank You So Much! Everything was wonderful!

• Alan (10/5): Magnificent - Beautiful period property overlooking stunning views of the Dee Estuary & Vale of Llangollen. The Wharf is located to the rear of the guest house, where horse drawn canal boats are moored & tours across the Pontcysyllte Aquaduct sails from. This 11 mile stretch of waterway is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Llangollen steam railway to the front travels along a scenic route of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Georgina was splendid & a fantastic host & the continental breakfast served was wonderful. With the exception of on site parking, nothing significant given all the positives. Long stay car park, located on Market Street is just a stone’s throw from the property at a daily rate of £8/9. Download the PayByPhone app for your own convenience as the ticketing machines are really slow & can be quite busy midday onwards.

We met Liv who was very friendly and accommodating. Wasn't an issue at all as there is parking near by, but the BnB doesn't have direct parking.

Olivia was so lovely and accommodating, great communication and catered to my dietary requirements. She even gave us some great recommendations for things to do, we actually ran out of time to see everything we wanted to see and do so we'll definitely be coming back! Room was lovely and had everything we needed and more! Room was so clean and nicely decorated. Location is perfect and so close to everything! The view from the room was spectacular and such a relaxing spot to have breakfast which is delivered to your room at a time of your choice. Olivia even had a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate my partners birthday weekend which was a very nice gesture. The room and bathroom were a great size and every detail was thought of down to the welsh cakes that we thoroughly enjoyed. Olivia was great for providing us with local recommendations and we ended up seeing some live music on the Friday from her advice. Could not recommend this place more and would not stay anywhere else if we return to the area!

• Rose (10/5): Amazing location,breakfast and views. - Loved the friendly reception from Olivia who gave us a very warm welcome and really useful tips for exploring the local area especially for eating drinking and walking.The house was tastefully restored and very stylish.The breakfast which was served in our room was the best I have ever had…The location was amazing,overlooking the river in the centre of town.We slept (very soundly) at night time with the windows open so we could hear the sound of the river.
