- Mellare (10/5): Absolute Serenity - I absolutely loved my stay in the 2 bedroom cottage. The bed was so comfortable. Excellent shower/spa.
Very clean and functional kitchen.
Peaceful and relaxing gardens with waterfalls. Beautiful birds & many pademelons (mini wallabies)
The owners are very kind people who also run the Cafe. I can't wait to do another short stay here to escape the daily grind. Absolute serenity!!
- Stephen (7/5): - gardens some doors not working properly
- Kanako (7/5): - The cottage was cute and had everything we needed. It was so lovely to relax in the garden listening to the sound of creek running through!
The location was great as well. I went with a friend and one of the rooms was only a sofa bed (which I knew and was fine) but the bathroom was through the main bedroom so it was little tricky if you need to go to toilet in the middle of the night! 😅
The spa bath wasn’t working either but we did enjoy having a bath.

- Matthew (10/5): Perfect for a cosy weekend getaway. Beautiful gardens to explore. - Loved the charm and warmth of the cottage. The fireplace and old decor made for a comfortable stay away from all the stresses of daily life.
- Jacquelyn (10/5): - Loved the gorgeous cottage and gardens. Our hosts were lovely and thoroughly enjoyed the Cafe meals. So close to all the walks.
- Eveille (10/5): Most beautiful location and stay we’ve had as a couple who travels a couple times a year. - The hosts are so kind and accommodating! The location is wonderful as you can walk around the whole garden, visit the cafe and enjoy some of the host’s specials! Nothing we didn’t love about the property - location can be hard to visit in the rain/dark so keep that in mind when travelling down the mountain.
- Magdalena (9/5): Superb -
- Vicki (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (10/5): A classic English Cottage with a Tiwanese twist - like a Ghibli movie ♥️ - Such a beautiful little spot - right at the end of Springbrook road and across from the Bilbrough Falls. The garden is stunning and full of wildlife. We spent hours sitting in the comfortable warm lounge looking out the enormous window to the well maintained and clearly very loved gardens. The babbling brook that you can hear from the lounge goes all the way to the falls, which of course has a magnificent view. The cafe is quaint with good food and perfect tea. You can tell it is made with love by San and Cat.
The bath is ENORMOUS. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in a long time.
Because there is no where for dinner on the mountain, we brought dinner with us and used the well stocked kitchen. Plenty of cafes around for breakfast and lunch.
I can’t wait to visit again.
