Guest Reviews
- christina (8/5): nice, super location, wonderfull atmosphere of the neighborhood - We liked the location and the street. Although a bit loud at night.
The apartment was cozy, two bedrooms, but the beds were a bit small compare to European beds, 130 cm and 150 cm wide.
kitchen was very. well equipped.
In the street supermarkets, Nice coffee shop next to the apartment. Subways in all directions very close by.
We would definitively book it again. The owner/contact was very helpful, and replied fast questions. we couldn't find the keys, but the signs for the keybox were a bit unclear. After talking to them we got the keys. location of the keys should be more clear

- Arkady (7/5): - Great location, border of Brooklyn and Manhetten. A number of underground stations close to the place. A lot ot of supermarkets and restaurants. Walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge and Timeout market. Appartment is big and comfortable. It contains everything needed for a long stay. Difficult to open windows, I think the windows should be replaced, because they are very old. Bathtube water flush is very slow. No elevator, but this is problem of building. It would be better someone meet guests and show how to use tools of appartment, like kettle/conditioner....
- Gervase (3/5): Nice location, decent apartment but overpriced. Being accurate and transparent is important for expectations of trust on - Location was very convenient with easy access to subway and neighboring restaurants. The actual apartment was not nearly as nice as the pictures. It was older and less well kept than expected. Stain on roof in bedroom, stains on furniture and rugs, bedding was not of great standard, and one bed wasn’t properly made. The water pressure in the shower was low, the oven didn’t light properly, the smoke alarm went off and couldn’t be stopped for most of a day. The apartment only has one AC, which worked well but required all bedroom doors to be open at night to be cooled. The stairwell narrows and is impossible to take 2 suitcases up at the same time. It’s a 36 step walk up which isn’t disclosed despite asking. All in all, the apartment was a disappointment from what we expected. If it were accurately described and more reasonably priced, it could be fine. But for over $450 per night, we expected better.
- Grzegorz Obszański (10/5): - Lokalizacja, dwie sypialnie Głośna klimatyzacja
- Patricia (8/5): We had a fabulous stay, exploring Dumbo and Brooklyn Heights as well as Manhattan. - Great location with all the amenities you need in the apartment and in the area. It was great to be able to leave Manhattan and come back to a quieter area; albeit with lots to do and see in the vicinity. The slight issue I found was the street was quite noisy but not much can be done about that; it was just the general comings and goings of life and road works, which would not be there all the time.
- Lisa (8/5): Spacious apartment in a great location. - Location excellent and really good size. Well equipped with everything you need and comfortable beds. Some of the furniture was a little grubby, white furniture in a rental isn’t a great idea.
- Jen (7/5): A homey place for traveler. - great location and good size apartment The facility is a big old
- Torres (7/5): Good -
- Maree (10/5): We had a really lovely time. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything that we might have needed. Having wa - Perfect location to experience Brooklyn Heights life. Nothing
- Kelly (9/5): Superb - The home was equipped with very thoughtful items - e.g, books, games, coffee filters, plenty of extra bedding/linens, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. The host was extremely quick in responding and resolving a momentary wi-fi issue. Cannot say enough about our needs being met during this visit to NYC. We will definitely stay here again!
- Richard (8/5): Good location - Location. Access to subway, food shops and restaurants near by. Grocery store nearby. Came with soap, bath towels, toilet paper Older apartment. Small rooms, a Little noisy. Queen bed mattress was a little uncomfortable
- Ziv (7/5): Nice Brooklyn Heights apartment - Great location. Convenient apartment. We had some minor maintenance issues which were dealt with by the owners quickly.
- Avani (8/5): Beautiful apartment in the heart of Brooklyn! - Beautiful location
Great appliances
Easy in and out It’s a prewar building so you’ve got to expect no elevator!
Perhaps dont carry massive 25kg bags 🤦🏻♀️ cos the apartment is on the 3rd flood 😜
- Cynthia (6/5): Need to improve on the small amenities and management needs to respond in a timely manner - I would have loved to rate this property higher however -
The Queen mattress was most uneven.
There were no top sheets.
There was no shower soap, bath mat, wash cloths, or even tissues.
The wifi was not working Thanksgiving morning, I called and left a message for Kate only for her to text me 5 hours later to inquire if the wifi was working. because the other tenant had also notified her. It was very disappointing not to be able to watch the Macys Day Parade in TV since it was pouring down rain.
I had spoken to Kate the day before regarding soap and the other amenities that I mentioned above. It was clean, spacious and location was good.
- Isobel (7/5): Good -
- Melanie (8/5): Very good - Location is great and Brooklyn is worth staying. There was tea and coffee in the Apartment we could use. Thanks for that! We would stay at the Apartment again :) It was quite loud since the windows were permaeble to the sounds of the street. I‘d suggest earplugs during nights for a comfortable night‘s sleep.
Other than that the beds were comfortable and there is enough space for 4 people.
- Nana (3/5): Great dissapointment, the apartment was dirty. - The Apartment was very dirty, dust, dirty kitchen, lots of hair in sheets and towels. It made us so uncomfortable that I was afraid of bed bugs. I complaint about and the cleaning fee was adjusted which I would have gladly paid if the apartment would have been cleaned properly. Yes, the locatlocation is great bit loud!
- Taylor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ricky (10/5): Ayo, I’m walking here! - Very spacious compared to hotels! Nice to have a full kitchen even though we didn’t get a chance to cook, it was nice having the option. And the bath tub was nice and big! We couldn’t control the heating. It was cold when we visited but not cold enough to blast the heat so we kept the windows cracked and it balanced out nicely
- Olive (9/5): I'd recommend this place to any friends coming to NYC. - Great location. I took a place in Brooklyn when I couldn't get anything suitable in Manhattan, but in retrospect, I wouldn't have changed a thing. The subway to anywhere in Manhattan is so simple, that it's absolutely irrelevant that you're on the other side of the river. It's a lovely neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants. Not touristy at all. Fairly cool/funky, without being grungy/edgy.
The apartment was great and the hosts were lovely and easily contactable. The water pressure in the shower isn't great, but that's a pretty minor detail!
