• Keith (5/5): Brilliant location but apartment very basic and tired - OK for a few days if you’re out and about. - Brilliant location 20metres from metro. Very tired and basic apartment. Cleaning not done on arrival due to an accident but completed by 6pm. However, bathroom was still not very clean. Only one front door key which had to be left in keysafe at front door in case lost - didn’t make for feeling very secure! Not enough pillows. I would say living area not large enough for any more than four people. Lacks info on bins, recycling, collections, etc and no tourist info/tips as found on previous short breaks.

• NICK (9/5): Decent flat close to the Vatican - Nice comfortable flat, two bathrooms/toilets, three bedrooms and a kitchen area. Towels and basic toiletries supplied. There was a metro station - Ottaviano - right at the corner of the building - unfortunately for us, that part of the metro was closed for the few days we were there , but there were frequent replacement bus services and the final stop was right outside the door of the apartment block! Just meant crowding on a bus rather than a tube! There was also a 'normal' bus stop outside the front door. Five/ten minute walk to St Peters Square , straight down the road, just follow the crowd on a Sunday morning! Supermarket across the road. Many bars and restaurants within close distance, but not too close to cause any noise disturbance. Lovely little bakery in the next block away from the metro. Despite the flat being on a main road, we did not have any problems with any noise. Juilius met us at the apartment to hand over the keys and explain the layout and workings of the flat. We were delayed a couple of times from the airport and had to revise our arrival time, but we updated him with the times and he kindly waited for us. He also offered to help with any advice for our stay if we had any issues, saying just to whatsapp him with any questions - nice touch. Like to think we will return to continue our sightseeing sometime in the future. If so, I'd check to see if this place was available again.

• Anne (6/5): 3 star, skip if you have more funds to spend - It was close to the Vatican. There is a coffee shop and two small grocery stores right down stairs. It has two bathrooms. Apartment does well at boho style. We had a late-ish check in and they accommodated us. To get hot water in the shower we had to turn on the kitchen tap and leave it on. There is no lounge area or table with chairs, nor oven in the kitchen. This apartment needs new beds. Proper beds, not foam mattresses. The landlord should provide dishwasher tablets, extra towels, more toilet paper and a tea towel. The third bed was broken.
• Steve (8/5): Great value for money in a convenient location - Great 3br apartment so close to the Ottaviano metro station. Having 2 bathrooms is so convenient with a family, and everything worked perfectly. Cafes nearby if you arrive early and need to wait to check in. Easy walk to Vatican, and some good restaurants nearby. Grocery stores close as well. 3rd bedroom could be used as a lounge room. Great A/C, washing machine, TVs. We felt comfortable here travelling as a family with 2 teenaged daughters.

• Fábio (5/5): Pelo preço, espera-se melhor - Localização perto da estação de Ottaviano e da Cidade do Vaticano. Perto de supermercados e restaurantes. Não havia toalhas para todos os hóspedes nem papel higiénico. Os secadores de cabelo não funcionavam. Muitas coisas dos quartos e casas de banho necessitam de manutenção. Nos quartos havia bilhetes de comboio dos hóspedes anteriores (não houve limpeza) e alguns lençóis guardados estavam com manchas. A água do chuveiro muitas vezes não aquecia. O Julius foi prestável em resolver a maioria dos problemas... Mas é notável alguma desorganização na preparação e manutenção do espaço.
• Annette (8/5): Fantastische ligging om Rome te verkennen! - Erg snel en goed contact met de host. Fantastische ligging van het appartement. Lekker dicht bij metro, winkeltjes, restaurants en cafés. Goede bedden, fijne handdoeken. Vlak bij Vaticaanstad en Engelenburcht. In appartement comfortabel eten/zitten niet echt mogelijk, maar Italiaans ontbijt in café naast appartement is erg goed! Paar straten verder zit een bagagedepot waar je de bagage kunt stallen als je aankomt/vertrekt op afwijkende aankomst/vertrektijden van appartement. Appartement heeft heel beperkte gelegenheid om te zitten. Een barretje met hoge krukken in kleine keuken. Appartement is niet zo strak als op foto's, duidelijk ouder (kan her en der wel een lik verf gebruiken, randjes en hoeken in douche brokkelig etc). Wel schoon.

• gilsa (4/5): Not what was shown! - The location was great. Very quiet neighborhood with the metro very close by. The area was safe to walk around, with shops nearby and a market across the street. The rooms were extremely unclean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were dusty and VERY dirty. We could tell the bedsheets had not been properly washed. The rooms were quite frankly, disgusting. It did not match the pictures at all. I'm sorry, but we did not expect that.
