- Martijn (8/5): Prima verblijf! - Wat ons het meest beviel, was de fijne locatie en de ruime buitenruimte. De bedden waren prima en we hebben een gezellig weekend gehad met vrienden. Wat tegenviel, was dat we van tevoren niet wisten dat we zelf beddengoed, wc-rollen en handdoeken moesten meenemen. Daarnaast was de schoonmaak niet in orde, het leek alsof er na de vorige gasten niet of nauwelijks was schoongemaakt. Ook de badkamer viel tegen; die is duidelijk aan een opknapbeurt toe.
- Duncan (3/5): Nice family friendly location but not turn key- be prepared to pay extra for basic needs and set the house up for your s - The house is in a good location and the area is very family friendly. Nothing is included in your stay. We paid an extra 100€ for linens and towels. We tried to coordinate this as we were concerned about arriving before reception closed. However reception couldn’t enter the house to leave linens, and the owner was unresponsive to this concern. We had to go out to buy things for the home, so another additional cost as there wasn’t even hand soap for the bathrooms. There was 1 roll of toilet paper already started, so we had to purchase that as well. There was not coffee for the machine or even salt and pepper for cooking. There was only 1 dish pod provided and no dish soap to wash dishes as well. Again, the house was in a nice location but all the additional costs to supply basic needs adds up. It can be very inconvenient to go out and purchase basic needs, pick up linens / make beds etc. after a long day of driving,
- Nathaly (7/5): Nice property…bad information provision. - The house itself has everything you need for a good vacation. The property was nice, clean and had a large garden. The host forgot to mention on the website or through a message that to enter the property with a car you have to get a card at the reception. And that the reception is closed at 17:00. We were with elderly people that cannot walk far. Further, the host mentioned that to get blankets one would need to rent this at the reception. But also forgot to mention that the reception would be closed early. Fortunately, we brought our own. Otherwise it would have been a super uncomfortable night. On the website the hosts states that check-in is from 15:00 (no limit time is mentioned). And regarding ‘curfew’ it was stated ‘come and go whenever you want’. It would be nice to add the closing times of the reception and that if one would like to enter with a car or rent blankets, to keep this in mind. Or send it by message on time. These are things that can be solved easily with good provision of information and communication. Definitely an aspect to work on.
