• Helen (9/5): Clean, comfortable and well-located for beach and evenings out. - This hotel was ideal for a long weekend by the sea and a few local sightseeing tours. The location is perfect for the beach and for a wide choice of good places to eat out. The breakfast, served on the pretty restaurant balcony, was fresh and delicious every day - I liked being able to choose and have everything made to order rather than a pre-prepared buffet. Also, the cafe on the ground floor serves the most amazing salads and much more besides. The staff on reception were very helpful and booked a driver for a day trip to Hue for me. I had the swimming pool to myself twice - lovely after a long car trip. Finally, the noise from the local area was minimal - no problems at all. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to return. It was all positive.

Our room faced the busy street, and the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast was okay, although for longer stays like ours it was very repetitive. Restaurant and restaurant staff were very friendly, yet the front counter staff not so much. Overall, good value hotel

Really enjoy the included breakfast option. The location is awesome for instant access to places to eat, spa facilities, and the beach is only a quick 5 min walk away. There is a lot of noise at night due to the touristy location. The pillows are really soft and thin.

There is way to much noise from the street and the neighbor across the street, which is a 24/7 supermarket , where people are sitting outside half the Night drinking. The breakfast is to order rather a buffet that results in food waste. The location is amazing, its two blocks away from the beach. There are many cool cafes and night life around. Theres also a pool and a mini gym. Hotel staff was also helpful in booking private cars to go around. The room was spacious and the veranda views were amazing. The sockets went off as soon as you leave the room, so we cant charge our phone as we eat breakfast or for the whole day

• Jill (8/5): Great spot to be in a busy, loud, heavily foreign/tourist area - Very kind staff, We were greeted and received help with our bags upon arriving. The rooms were large and close to a lot of food and the beach! The breakfast was delicious and the people working them were so sweet, We had a view of the ocean to one side and fireworks to the other. The area is very loud. There is a biker w/ a loud speaker repeating "banh bao" all night. There were football games at 3am where people are screaming and cheering, etc. It's literally never quiet. There is no peephole and no extra lock from inside. We had someone unlock and open or door while inside with the do not disturb sign. They left quickly when I said "hello?" When I called downstairs, they insisted it was housekeeping, but housekeeping had already been there. Another time, we quickly ran an errand, and when we came back, someone had clearly been in the room again. That was unsettling. The pool was always out of towels, and one time, someone had puked and left it. There is no shallow area where a kid can touch the bottom. Laundry is much more at the hotel than local places.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is inside the room and is normal A little old hotel. I'm a little concerned about the smell in the room. I'm just going to sleep for a while, so it's not a problem.

• Jacqueline (8/5): Great location - This place grew on me. First night arriving I had regrets but the next day we realised it’s in a fantastic location, the coffee shop downstairs is great. Probably the best shower I have had since arriving in Vietnam, staff are lovely and the breakfast is good. There’s no air con on in the lobby or lifts at night so it’s hotter in the hotel than outside. We arrived at 8pm, hotel roasting, halls smell a bit weird, would not want to be stuck in the lift here as it’s like a sweat box. During the day the place is totally different, cool and a great place to hang out.
