Guest Reviews
- Toni (10/5): Great value base for a wonderful trip to Plymouth! - It was clean, near everything that we wanted like the aquarium and it was great value. The owners were so accommodating and we would recommend staying there to visit Plymouth. Nothing really, Just what we wanted. Yes the area is lively and there is noise but that’s to be expected.
- Glynis (10/5): - Location Nothing
- Glynis (10/5): - Central location Nothing
- Karen (5/5): Great location. To many stairs! - Location is great. Right at the Marina and close to pubs and shops Too many uneven stairs for us to bring our luggage in. Parking was a nightmare as where we parked behind the flat, you needed cash and no one would change it for us! And we couldn’t download the app (not available for Australian phones!!) We were unable to get anything but Free to air TV. The place was ok inside, just very tired.
- Sarah (7/5): It was a great location right in the centre of the Barbican area. It was great place to stay with everything around you - Separate spaces The house wasn’t level in places
- ARNAUD (8/5): - Le quartier, immeuble rétro, le charme anglais , le jeux pour enfants
- Frances (4/5): - Really needs painting especially in the bathroom. Sofas very uncomfortable.
Water very hard to turn on when the flame goes out.
No details re nearby parking.
- Peter (8/5): Value for money in a prime location great for a last minute short stay - The apartment is centrally placed for all amenities and for the marina. Excellent value and for for purpose. Good size main bedroom and comfortable lounge.
- Elijah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leona (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Nice cosy place for a night.
The entrance downstairs need to be cleaned but the flat is spotless.
Will book again
- Jane (2/5): Awful! Property has a cheap & unloved vibe, entrance is dirty & unkempt. No gas or hot water for duration of our - Location was the only plus for this property, but there are plenty of other properties available in the area! Choose somewhere else! Cheap furnishings, unkempt entrance and no welcome pack of any form (not even any tea or coffee) but worst of all, we had no gas or hot water for the duration of our stay. This was not due to an emergency issue, but planned maintenance by Cadent which the owner had been notified of weeks before our stay, so the property should not have been available to rent at all for this period. She claims ‘no-one told her’ but there were several letters notifying her of the works - she just hadn’t bothered getting the post checked. It had a really negative impact on our stay, yet we have been offered nothing more than an apology and a paltry £50 in compensation.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Unreal location for the price
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional - The location is amazing. Great value for money
- Carol (9/5): We all liked it clean and comfortable, good location. Definitely would stay again - It was close to everything we wanted to do The stairs
- Eva (7/5): Great Location for Visiting places of interest 👌 - great location especially for travelers to see places of interest the dirty pigeons cooing frequently outside windows
- Justin (8/5): Quirky apartment in a great location. - Fantastic location in the middle of the action and walking distance to the best bars and restaurants, the Mayflower Steps and the Hoe. Parking is expensive but not ridiculous. The stairs will be a challenge for some.
- Tristan (7/5): Great stay in a great location. Good comms - Perfect location, in the middle of everything the Barbican has to offer with a bakery and restaurants all on the same road and the harbour Litterally round the corner. The beds were very comfy and great comfy towels for bathing and showering. I stayed with my daughters and there were bean bags upstairs to bring down in the front room which the kids loved. Wi-fi was free but was 4G dongle but didn’t matter due to the fact that we didn’t use it much. The owner kept in contact every time I messaged due to the riots that happened just before our stay and ensured us everything was fine which it was. Would book again. Being on the Main Street, it was a little rowdy in the evening with a lot of loud cars driving up and down the street on our stay.
