• Rachel (8/5): - This is right in the heart of the Kasbah with great views and very close proximity to the medina. The flat is cute and spacious enough for two. The terrace is pleasant but we didn't spend much time there as it was shady in the December morning! If it gets sunlight later, it'd be a lovely suntrap (but no views). Check in/out was easy and we were shown to the place. All in all, a good stay. Being located among real life means noise from the locals at night. Mornings were quiet but it was still lively after 10pm, as you might expect. Bathroom was tiny, even by Moroccan standards but you can manage!
• Dani (6/5): - Let’s start with the positive: I liked the location right inside the Medina, close to many restaurants and cafes, the souk and the shopping streets. The beach is about 30 mins away (on foot). The apartment is high up on the hill, close to the Kasbah, but in a part of Tangier that cannot be reached by car. if you have heavy luggage, you may struggle to get it up to the apartment - there are several sets of stairs - and you’ll also have to carry up your luggage the narrow staircase inside the apartment. Inside the apartment isn’t much room for bulky suitcases. I traveled with a backpack and it was fine for me, but I don’t think a rolling suitcase / trolley would’ve been much fun. The apartment is very basic. Small bedroom, a small living room area with a sofa, kitchenette, tiny bathroom, and a small terrace upstairs. Unfortunately I knocked myself nearly unconscious hitting my head on the ceiling when I walked up to the terrace - I am not the tallest woman, so if you’re taller than 5.9, you have to be seriously careful. It was very painful & there should’ve been a warning for the low ceiling. There should’ve also been a warning about the tea pot which left extreme burns on my hand when I lifted the pot after filling it with hot tea. The kitchen is equipped with the bare minimum - a couple of cups, plates, knives, spoons & forks. It’s enough to make a breakfast at home, but I wouldn’t attempt cooking a full dinner. The bathroom is so small that the shower will get everything wet when you turn it on - including the toilet paper (learned that the hard way). The shower has great water pressure and is steaming hot though, which is great. There’s not really any natural light coming in (tiny windows, narrow streets without much sunlight coming through), if you like natural sunlight, this place may not be for you. Unfortunately, the internet is very weak & the WiFi kept cutting out. Absolutely not great if you’re trying to work remotely, but also annoying when you’re trying to watch something online and it gets stuck. This was the only place in Morocco where I had bad WiFi. The worst thing about the apartment is that there’s no address stated anywhere. After I made the booking, I got a WhatsApp message from a management company with instructions how to get to a place where I could pick up the keys to the apartment. The instructions were detailed and easy to follow. Once I arrived at the office, someone guided me through a maze of alleys to the apartment. I wasn’t given an address, just a key. Not even a mention of “mark on your map where this place is so that you’ll find your way back”.
• Kerstin (10/5): - Die Lage. Die Aufteilung der Zimmer. Die Terrasse. Das Personal!!!!! Die Zimmertüren ließen sich teilweise nicht gut öffnen/schließen und man hatte das Gefühl etwas kaputt zu machen. Das Internet schwankte in der Verbindung,sodass man nicht gut nach Restaurants, Ausflügen o.ä. recherchieren konnte.Das war doch schon etwas hinderlich,wenn man der Typ dafür ist,vor Ort erst diese Dinge zu erörtern ;) Die Unterkunft selbst hatte gute Tipps gegeben wo man gut essen gehen kann oder ein Supermarkt ist,aber man konnte selbst nicht Weiteres recherchieren,da das Internet nicht stabil war. Aber für kreative Leute ist das kein Hindernis ;) :) Man muss ich einfach treiben lassen und mit den Leuten vor Ort in Kontakt treten.Da bekommt man sowieso viel mehr mit als man jemals recherchieren könnte :)

Freddo allucinante, split che non funzionano o funzionano poco, umido, bagno piccolo impossibile da farsi la doccia. Mancanza di asciugamani e una persona sistemava l’ingresso mentre eravamo in camera.

• Marta (5/5): Ubicación poco agradable - Alojamiento completo y relativamente limpio. La ubicación no es del todo acertada, callejuelas oscuras y sucias que por la noche da miedo pasar. A pesar de que el alojamiento no está mal, no repetiríamos debido a donde está ubicado.

• Sue (8/5): Living like a local - Loved the terrace on this little apartment in the Kasbah. It was very basic but living in an old residential area was a peep into the day to day life of the people who called this area their home. There are a huge number of steps to get to this place, not easy with a case. By that I mean across the Kasbah not just the steep steps once you are in the house itself,

• Julia (8/5): Very good - The location is very central and the path is well lit even at night. Outside the house it's not necessarily pretty, but at no point did we feel unsafe. The bathroom is small with no way to separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom.
• Sandi (9/5): Authentic home in a lovely part of the Medina! - Loved the roof top balcony and kitchen was equipped for simple meals. Cable tv was an added bonus after many weeks away from home. The bedding could have been more comfortable.
• Tanya (10/5): Lovely stay in the Kasbah! - It has a beautiful private patio on the top floor. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee there every morning. You have the entire building to yourself. There is no better location in the Kasbah. I don’t have any complaints
