• Chiara (7/5): Di passaggio a Uppuveli - Ci siamo fermati solo una notte per visitare Uppuveli. La struttura è molto comoda a due passi da ristoranti, bancomat, spiagge. Camera e bagno molto ampi ma non proprio impeccabili. Al nostro arrivo non erano informati della nostra prenotazione. Le lenzuola del letto erano bucate e macchiate. Il wc era traballante.

• Annoeska (3/5): - Dichtbij het strand. Bij aankomst bleek er maar 1 kamers beschikbaar ipv 2. Er kon een bed worden bijgezet dus uiteindelijk wel gebleven. De volgende dag konden we een extra kamer krijgen maar hier zaten heel veel muggen en vliegen. Dus uiteindelijk toch niet gedaan. De badkamer is hoognodig aan renovatie toe, de airco maakt heel veel lawaai. De ventilator op het balkon doet het niet. Bij afrekenen wilde ze ons meer laten afrekenen dan wat eigenlijk de prijs voor 2 kamers was. Na heen en weer gebel met de eigenaar en wat hulp van onze chauffeur toch uiteindelijk wat minder hoeven betalen.

• Katrien (3/5): - Dit hotel is niet wat het lijkt. De ligging is uitstekend maar daar blijft het bij. Het ontbijt stelt niets voor- je krijgt een gekookt eitje met oude toast en wat jam. De geur van de badkamer was verschrikkelijk en de douche slechts een straal, om van de losstaande toilet en kraantjes te zwijgen. De lakens hadden gaten... Dit hotel heeft nood aan een heel grondige renovatie.
• Andrea (8/5): Alter Charme mit Renovierungsbedarf zum unschlagbaren Preis. - Das Hotel ist in super Lage nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und es waren bei uns zwei große Doppelbetten darin. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Zimmer wurden jedoch nicht gereinigt und es wurden auch keine Handtücher ausgetauscht, aber vielleicht wäre das auf Wunsch erfolgt. Wir haben diese nicht angefragt. Auf Anfrage bekommt man ein einfaches Frühstück für 600 LKR pro Person. Ein paar gekühlte Getränke und Wasser kann man quasi zu jeder Tageszeit zum völlig angemessenen Preis erstehen. In der Nähe ist ein wunderschöner Strand mit flach abfallendem Ufer, perfekt für Kinder. Es sind super Restaurants und Bars am Strand, tolle Stimmung, vor allem abends. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Preis/ Leistungs Verhältnis ist wirklich unschlagbar. Das Hotel ist wie auch bei den anderen Rezensionen hier zu lesen ist, sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer ist zudem Preis völlig okay aber das Bad muss wirklich renoviert werden. Es ist ein Durchlauferhitzer in der Dusche, der lauwarmes Wasser erzeugt. Es gibt zwar einen Duschvorhang, der aber nur bedingt etwas bringt, da der Abfluss die Wassermenge nicht so schnell aufnehmen kann...da steht schnell das halbe Bad unter Wasser. Kommt man aus der Dusche gibt es keinen Vorleger und man macht mit den Füßen alles nass. Die gesamten Armaturen sowie der Klorollenhalter waren verrostet.
• Annick (6/5): Basic hotel vlak bij het strand met lekker ontbijt - De locatie was perfect op 100 m van het strand, en toch weg van de drukte. Uppuveli is een erg toeristische bestemming. Maar daardoor is het ook leuk om eens veel restaurantjes en cafeetjes te hebben. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was goedkoop en rijkelijk. Handig terras met meubels en plaats om iets te drogen. De lakens waren niet proper. Er is ook te weinig meubilair in de slaapkamers: geen nachtkastjes en geen meubels in de badkamer om iets op te zetten. Er waren ook veel muggen.
• Anja (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft, toller Strand - Dreibettzimmer war eine große Liegewiese aus zwei Betten., Zimmer mit Terrasse. Freundliche Menschen. Ein Kleiderschrank im Zimmer(scheint kein Standard zu sein). Der kurze Weg zum Traumstrand. Transfer übers Hotel gut organisiert. Alles was man braucht in der Nähe. Restaurants am Strand und an der Straße. Außerdem kl. Supermarkt, Bäcker, Obststände. Hunde, Affen,Geckos, Kühe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Bad war auf den ersten Blick etwas abschreckend, aber letztlich war es völlig ausreichend und gut.

• T (6/5): Dichtbij het strand. - Personeel erg vriendelijk. Bij onze beide kamers waren de airco kapot. Er is veel moeite gedaan om deze te maken voor 1 kamer. Dit was in de avond gelukt. En in overleg 1 kamer voor dit verblijf gebruikt. Bij de receptie hebben ze ook een föhn in bruikleen. Dichtbij het strand en bij Fernando's. De badkamer rook niet fris en was niet schoon.heel veel haren in het doucheputje waardoor het water niet goed wegliep. Er is uitzicht op de zee op de 1e verdieping, maar dit is minimaal en aan de zeekant kun je niet buiten zitten.

Mais surtout, nous avons été facturés 18 € de “commission” injustifiée au moment du départ. Cette somme n’apparaissait nulle part lors de la réservation, et n’a jamais été annoncée à l’avance. C’est une forme de manipulation délibérée, visant à faire passer une surfacturation injustifiée pour une règle officielle. • Olivia (10/5): Wonderful Beachside Stay! Great value for money - We had a wonderful time at Palm Beach Resort! The room was huge, which was exactly what we wanted after a couple of stays in some tiny hotel rooms. The bed was really comfortable, and the room was cool with both a large fan and AC. The windows either side of the room made it lovely and light. We also had a balcony to sit on in the evening which was a great addition. The location is perfect, just minutes walk in one direction to the beach, where you have a mix of restaurants and cafes, and free sun loungers and umbrellas. The sea is also perfect for swimming in. In the other direction you also have a couple of good little shops, if you need any essentials. We also had a delicious western breakfast during our stay, and they were able to provide us with a laundry service to do our washing. Overall a great stay!

Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht und super freundlich. Die Anlage ist sehr alt wird aber täglich gepflegt. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach. Dal, Toast, Ei. Das Bad ist leider sehr alt und nicht schön.

It's called resort hotel however, in 1 weeks we never got our room cleaned or towels changed. We didn't mind, just letting the future hosts know. We had breakfast only the first morning. It was lame and expensive. 600 rupees for cold toast, 1 fried egg and some papayas and banana.

The property doesn’t have a lot of furniture in the rooms, I believe this is because it was recently acquired by the current owner. Nonetheless still a wonderful property!

• Elisa (8/5): Promosso! - La struttura gode di una posizione eccellente, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia. La camera è spaziosa e il bagno è pulito. La colazione è stata soddisfacente e anche la connessione WiFi è buona.

• Linda (5/5): Ok ma qualcosa si potrebbe migliorare - La posizione è ottima perchè è proprio alle spalle delle spiagge. Il prezzo è molto basso, quindi il rapporto qualità-prezzo è corretto. Hanno accolto la nostra richiesta di cambiare stanza e sono stati molto gentili. Il livello dell'hotel non ci ha soddisfatto del tutto: la struttura risulta un pò datata, le camere sono molo semplici, avrebbe bisogno di essere più curata, soprattutto lo spazio esterno. Tutte le stanze al piano terra affacciano praticamente su un muro di cemento, eravamo stati ubicati lì ma abbiamo chiesto di essere spostati e ci hanno messo al piano superiore dove c'era un terrazzo e quasi si vedeva il mare.

• Ruben (6/5): Gute Lage, aber Anlage sehr in die Jahre gekommen. - Super Lage direkt am Strand und auch in Richtung Stadt. Das Personal war super freundlich und das srilankanische Frühstück für 400 Rs. war super Leider ist die Anlage sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind abgewohnt, die Schränke ließen sich nicht öffnen und das Bad war extrem sanierungsbedürftig. Des Weiteren herrschte ein sehr unangenehmer Geruch rund um die Anlage, welcher wirklich ekelerregend war, wobei ich dahingehend nichtmal empfindlich bin.

La chambre est vraiment spacieuse, et le petit déjeuner très bon :) la dame à la réception et qui fait le petit déjeuner est super gentille, je recommande !! Quelques taches dans la salle de bain mais rien de gênant

• Marty0093 (7/5): carino vicino alla spiaggia - Hotel vicinissimo alla spiaggia, stanza mediamente pulita e abbastanza grossa A parte il primo signore che ci ha accolto il restante staff l'ho trovato un po assente, l'aqua calda non funzionava e quando abbiamo segnalato il problema è venuto un ragazzo dentro due/tre volte in camera a maneggiare e poi è sparito senza dirci nulla. siamo andati a fare la doccia nella camera dei nostri amici. Inoltre la camera era piena di zanzare.

Personale cortese ci ha aiutate dandoci indicazioni per andare nella meta successiva. Abbiamo chiesto la colazione alle 7 perché dovevamo partire ed era anche l'orario indicato di inizio colazione, si sono presentati alle 7.30 e non avevano nulla di pronto quindi hanno improvvisato e ci hanno fatto pagare anche l'acqua a colazione perché non prevista a quanto pare.

Vanaf het hotel loop je zo binnen 2 minuten het strand op met allemaal leuke eettentjes en plekjes met ligbedden. Personeel erg aardig. Airco maakte erg veel lawaai. Voor 1 nachtje voor ons niet erg, maar kan me voorstellen dat het voor anderen wel een probleem is als je langer verblijft.

• Ildikó (10/5): Place with a tropical beach athmosphere - The location was wonderful, only 2 minutes walk from the best beach which is sandy and there are many palm trees. The Best restaurants, shops and bars are also on the beach. The people running the hotel are the most helpful. There is a balcony where we could even place our rented scooter. The beach is good for swimming and water sports. Lots of things tó do. There is a big, comfortable bed in the room. The place could be a little cleaner, and a fridge would be nice.

• Lampo (10/5): - Ich hatte einen grossartigen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Personal und der Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gut gepflegt. Die Lage des Hotels, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand, war einfach perfekt. Ich kann dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen!

Lovely host took care of everything including finding a Dr for our youngest, laundry and preparing fresh lemon drinks each afternoon. The location is also incredible- quick walk to the beach and all the activities. As per other reviews the bathroom was smelly / old but honestly for the price we didn’t care.

La climatisation ancienne est bruyante Le petit déjeuner n'est pas à prendre. Service lent pour presque rien à manger malgré la gentillesse des serveuses.

• Penny (7/5): Budget friendly, nice staff/owners. - This is a nice budget friendly hotel. The staff were really nice, the breakfast was delicious and the room and balcony were large. Only a short walk to the beach. The bathroom let it down. It was not cleaned properly and could do with a deep clean and fresh paint.

• Danielle (5/5): - Hotel ligt op een goede locatie, je bent zo op het strand. Na 1 nacht slecht geslapen te hebben,bleek het matras verkeerd om te liggen. Deze moesten we zelf omdraaien.. Kamer is tijdens ons verblijf ( 3 nachten) niet schoongemaakt. Badkamer had gebreken. Hotel lijkt niet op de foto's, vergane glorie.

• Silje (10/5): - Super friendly staff, big room, AC and close to the beach. The food in the resturant was really good! The room didnt have table or bedside tables. We had to put all of our belongings on the floor.
• Prabhavi Nilupuli (5/5): - Location is good.its about 100m to the uppuveli beach. Actually its not so clean.when we go to the room, the floor was so sandy.& wash room also was little bit unclean.and there weren't atleast main stuffs like chair, table or towel rack.there was only a bed inside the room. And for the breakfast, we had only one sandwich & about 10 or 8 fries & a tea.
