Guest Reviews
- Aaron (7/5): - Prime location and had everything we needed! From collecting the keys to returning them was a very quick and easy process and we were made very welcome. Facilities were great and suited the needs for our short trip!
- Beverley (4/5): -
- BRIAN (3/5): Would not stay here again - Location Cleanliness not up to scratch broken curtains and shower screen just not up to scratch
- Ali (6/5): Not good experience. - Close to the train station and the city centre. 1- I was not able to check in till 4:00 pm because the flat was not cleaned yet.
2- The flat description in booking.com show that the flat can sleeps up to 6 adults. We made the reservation based on this information. When we checked in, it is enough for 4 adults. We had to book a hotel room.
3- Curtains are missing in all windows in the living room and one of the rooms.
4- Regarding the security deposit, it is not stated in your policies mentioned in booking.com. Despite that, the owner asked for £300 as security deposit to be sent by PayPal as “ family and friends”
5- The bathroom essentials ( hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel,…) are missing.
6- The bed sheets and the dishes were not clean.
7- The are can gets very noisy specially in weekends.
- Ines (1/5): Nie wieder!
- Lasha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abdullahi (8/5): Very good -
- Ihsan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dominika (10/5): Very nice just cold - It wos cold in apartament
- Cramb (8/5): Great place to stay - Lovely beds and bath. Amazing location, right in the centre of Glasgow. Only two things, carpet/rug in the middle of the room is a tripping hazard and needs to be stuck down. The mirror on one of the bedrooms, while nice, almost fell off the door twice as it didn't quite fit the door hinges, and what with a £300 damage payment that needs to be paid, feels a bit of a trap.
- Alves (1/5): - The place is good but the owner acts in bad faith. He takes deposits and doesn't return them. In addition to making up stories to keep our money. - Karen (8/5): Very good - Very bright, clean and great location
- Neil (1/5): very unprofessional hosts - had to go to separate location very time consuming the method of having to pay a deposit demanding through private pay pal
- Tamara (9/5): Great value for money - Very central. All amenities included. Very spacious. View is of the busy street, makes for an interesting laugh late at night. Owner was very accommodating. Can be noisy, that did not bother us at all though.
- Madison (6/5): Good locations apartment nice but just be mindful that you have to pay £300 deposit day of or day before you get the key - Property in a good location beds comfy £300 deposit requested day before arrival which we were unaware about so just be mindful of this
- Cathy (9/5): Excellent apartment in the heart of Glasgow. - The location is great being in the city centre and across from the train station. The apartment is great, just as described in a secure building. We felt very safe and enjoyed our stay. It has all the supplies you need to cook in the apartment and cleaning products to use as well. The club across the street plays loud music on Saturday's until 4 am so not a great location if you have young children as it can be noisy.
- Tara (8/5): Location and parking were perfect - Had parking, and nice size apartment Only 1 key between 3 of us and we were doing separate museums/trips
- Stuart (10/5): A quality flat in a great location - Excellent location and a well equipped flat which is spacious and comfortable. Easy access to secure parking by lift. Very close to shopping and transport links around Glasgow, lots of restraunts within walking distance Nothing
- Martin (7/5): Good - the blind in one bedroom was broken so the light came in; the standing lamp in the living room didn't work, the lighting was not cosy. There is no shower curtain / screen in the main bathroom so water splashed everywhere.
- Winda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clare (7/5): Good - Good central location . Two bathrooms was very handy. Blinds were broken and the blind cords had no safety mechanisms.. not great when travelling with a toddler. Check in process not that handy as I was travelling alone with a 7 year old, 2 year old and 4 month old. Had to park the car to collect the keys etc. Also you have to pay a £300 security deposit with this property. It was returned quickly on the day of check out but just be aware of this when booking
- Jacoliene (1/5): Don’t do it, they won’t pay your deposit (300 euro or pounds) back!!! - Nottingham Still waiting for my deposit to be paid back, it’s taking over a week now.
- Jules (5/5): handy location, two bathroms great but property needs refreshing, repairing and cleaning - The location is great for getting around.I usually stay in nearby hotels and know the city and area well. Booked this as my learning disabled brother was travelling with me and he needs a bath and I also wanted shared social space for us. That worked well and having the ensuite and separate bathroom was good. Have sent a list of minor repairs to the landlord which include shower not draining and broken blind. Flat was dirty and cutlery, plates and drinkware all had to be washed before use. There is no dishwasher which is fine with me as I don't use them but cleaner prob should check everything has been washed. Neither the fridge nor freezer were plugged in on arrival. A mixed bag of welcome items - teabags but no coffee, soy sauce but no cooking oil. Street noise is lively but its city centre so to be expected and this did not surprise nor bother me. Bedroom doors bang very loud and would benefit from soft closures. Toiletries and kitchen cleaning items mixed (and mostly economy) items which have an air of having been left by previous guests. With a few fixes, a deep clean, lick of paint and proper clean and check (no corkscrew or scissors!) between rentals this would be worth the money. Lots of potential. I won't post photos as landlord is responsive to feedback so I feel its unfair to post things which I hope will be fixed soon.
- Punyo (6/5): Below average experience - Close to the train station. Very central Could be cleaner. Car park post key didnt work. Bed wasn’t very comfortable
- Charlotte (8/5): Pleasant - Clean n close to town center The furniture is old n shabby
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Skama77 (8/5): Best Location for Tourists (5 mins walk to Glasgow Central station) - Hosts were co-operative and addressed all our queries. Place was centrally located and was walking distance to all major tourist pickup points. Apartment was airy and well ventilated. Curtain blinds were blocking the windows, UK adapters should have been provided. It was a bit noisy at night because of a pub across the road and also birds making sounds early in the morning.
- Al (9/5): Superb -
- Shewan (10/5): Great location for a trip to glasgow, perfect facilities and great size! - ideal size and location n/a
- Ahmad (5/5): It would have been a better stay if access to the apartment and its facilities were improved. - The apartment was nicely located, i.e. near to the Central Station and many eating outlets. The keys collection was a headache; delivery of password was when we are on the bus from London and there's no wi-fi access on it. The shop that we had to go to collect the keys closes at 10.00pm. It was very worrying. The shopkeeper was not helpful at all, not even knowing where the apartment is located, although he holds the keys.
- Cristina (10/5): Exceptional - central place , very easy to find , clean with all facilities including
- Anonymous (10/5): one of the best stays in Glasgow I’ve had. - the location was perfect, the facilities were brilliant and we will definitely be back on our next visit.
