+ We follow a lean, self-service and no-frills hospitality model to keep stays affordable, with select amenities available on a pay-as-you-use basis.
+ Alcohol, drugs, misconduct, non-payment, theft, vandalism or policy violations will lead to immediate eviction without refund and possible permanent blacklisting.
+ Outside food is strictly prohibited inside the hostel premises.
+ Our cafe serves vegetarian food with self-service culture and operates 8 AM–2 PM and 6 PM–11 PM (timings may vary)
+ Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking zones within the premises.
+ For group bookings of 2+ guests, same-dorm accommodation is not guaranteed as room allocation is automated and subject to availability.
+ Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.
+ Visitors are allowed only in common areas between 9 AM and 9 PM and are not permitted inside rooms.
+ Female dorms are strictly for female guests only.
+ Local IDs are accepted.
+ Limited parking is available on-site subject to availability (up to 4 cars).
+ Silent hours are observed daily from 10 PM to 8 AM.
+ The Hosteller is a backpacker hostel chain suited for young travellers, and does not permit guests below 18 years of age, even with legal guardians.
+ The property is pet friendly, and we allow pets only in private rooms (not dorms). Any damages are attributable to the pet owners.

Everything has to be done via the app I raised a maintenance request and the person came in like 1 hour It’s actually like a OYO model, where the place is managed by someone else but the name is Hosteller The bathroom was dirty and the taps were loose We just had to stay a night thankfully so just slept and left

- hussain (10/5): - The hosteller Old Manali is an amazing property; I stayed here for a week and had a great time. Especially Sid, the Community Manager, and Rajnish Bhai, the Cafe Manager. The mattresses in the dorm room were comfy, with curtains for privacy, and the view from the balcony was spectacular. The food was delicious, with the best vegetarian selection available.

- Evelyn M (10/5): Wonderful - I didn't expect how amazing my experience would be in this hostel and in Manali! The staff is super supportive, the bonfire is wonderful and the restaurant has great and delicious dishes. The view is spectacular and they even offer water in the halls. They have some cute dogs in the yard, love that! It was really special, thank you for everything, guys! Maybe it would be nice if they offered the option to send a message on WhatsApp, instead of SMS, when the food order is ready, because some guests don't have a local phone number while traveling, and the staff wouldn't need to go to the room to inform them.

- sakshi (8/5): Helpful staff, clean rooms, yummy indian food - Helpful staff and rooms are clean I really liked the female dorm sharing option. The food and restaurant service was quick too. This was just a one time thing that probably happened with us as we had to shift hostel because of some maintainence work so I had to pack n unpack twice. Location is a bit far from the main market and cafes.

The staff was incredibly hospitable, and a special thanks to Mr. Banshu, the manager, for going above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. The food was delicious and exceeded expectations, while the accommodations were clean, cozy, and extremely comfortable. It’s the ideal place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Manali. Highly recommended! May be building lift into the property would be beneficial to avoid lifting of luggages
