• Lorenia (10/5): we have a very fun and memorable stay with some of my family in this amazing town - I love the views from rooftop they were amazing I didn't like that every room was in different floor but I know that is very common in the houses on San Miguel Allende

• Marina (7/5): Beautiful property and views, insane stairs all over. Not safe for older people or kids. - The property has gorgeous views and is clean. The managers are also super responsive. The pictures were not super accurate - the property has a ton of steep stairs between rooms, up to the living room and a very steep spiral staircase to the terrace with the hot tub. The internet was also quite spotty. While we had confirmed checkout with the host, we got a note from booking.com with an inaccurate time, which led to a lot of confusion.

• Jenny (6/5): - Great location. Awesome to have 5 bedrooms each with their own full bathroom. Cool design with a central open courtyard and outdoor staircases to reach each of the rooms, kitchen, living room and roof top deck. Plenty of comfortable soft seating in the living room An awesome space for a large group of people to really hang out together! Sadly, there were no cushions for the outdoor furniture on the rooftop deck, and the hot tub wouldn't work. The staff came and eventually fixed it the first day, but we tried and tried and finally gave up the second night as it wouldn't get hot. Since these 2 things were a big part of our reason for choosing the location, as we were only in need of 3 bedrooms, it was disappointing. Also to note, being in the center of the action does mean there is considerable loud and late traffic noise. Finally, this place is not for people afraid of heights or unable to climb extensive stairs.
• Herculano (10/5): - This house was amazing! The rooms were clean, everything worked well, it has an amazing rooftop! You can see the whole city.
• Shyamalie (7/5): - The property can comfortably sleep a lot of people and the view from the rooftop is spectacular. The number of stairs and the location on top of the hill made it challenging to navigate; it's definitely something geared toward young and active people.
• Lillian (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - Nothing We planned to have 11 people sleeping at the house, with 5 people sleeping elsewhere. Those 5 people would come over to eat at the house. We told the host this plan about 6 months before and he seemed fine with it. Two days before our check in date, when it was too late to change anything, the host contacted us to tell us he was not happy with there the plan unless we paid 10,000 extra pesos, in cash, when we checked in. We had no choice but to agree with his demand. The host was very hostile to us throughout our stay. We broke a pitcher, and he demanded 1000 pesos for it within the hour. He also demanded an additional 2000 pesos for other damages we did not do. He told us he had called the police to evict us, which he had no right to do. We had to call booking.com customer service to ensure our rights. Needless to add, our entire stay was very upsetting to us. Besides that, there is no washer, no dryer, no hair dryers. The doors squeak. The house is very noisy as it is right off a busy street, and some of our guests couldn’t sleep. We had to buy our own toilet paper. I am attaching the chat where he demanded we pay damages on a Sunday (when we couldn’t get money) and where he threatened to call the police on us.

• ALAMO (9/5): Buenas instalaciones y buen servicio - 1.- Limpio y bien cuidado. 2.- Nos recibieron y atendieron muy bien. 3.- Todos los espacios estaban cómodo y agradables. 1.- Si llueve y tienes que salir del cuarto te mojas. 2.- Nos dieron solo una toalla por persona y no se secaban por el tiempo de lluvia que hacía, nada grave pero fue un poco incómodo. 3.- Muchas escaleras, no tuvimos inconvenientes, pero para personas mayores o niños pequeños no es tan conveniente.

We were only allotted 2 rolls of toilet paper a day. There was no washer or dryer available. The toilet backed up and there were no plungers to clear it. We would not stay here again. The communication with the ladies who opened the property for us was difficult, and they did not speak English. There was a 2000 peso deposit that I was not aware of. That had to be given the time we checked in. The property didn't have any condiments or bathroom supplies. We were only allotted 2 rolls of toilet paper a day. There was no washer or dryer available.
