• Riho (10/5): 最高 - ドミトリーはこの価格で朝食付き、しかも到着時にウェルカムドリンクとして紅茶を出してくれた。室内も非常に清潔で明るい雰囲気。ドライヤーも部屋の棚に置いてあり、しっかり鍵のかかる小型ロッカーも備え付けられている。ベッドも綺麗で寝心地がよく暖かい。水回りも非常に清潔。お湯もよく出る。気候的にエアコンは当然ない、そもそも必要ない。乾季に来たので雨季の部屋の湿気の度合いは不明。 茶畑を登ったところにあるので中心部からは少しアクセスが悪いが徒歩圏内。

• Gerber (9/5): - Super sympathisch, die Jungs machen das toll! Es gab ein Shuttle vom Bahnhof Nanu Onya und für den Tagesausflug in den Horton Plains National Park wurde ebenfalls alles organisiert. Gerne Wieder. Leider setzt die Dusche das Bad unter Wasser und im Zimmer war es ziemlich feucht. Nichts desto trotz würden wir wieder hin, Preis-Leistung passt, da darf man eigentlich nicht motzen.

Parlano poco inglese e nel servizio sono un po’ lentini. Abbiamo chiesto la colazione senza cose salate e ci hanno portato salsiccia e uova. Evidente il problema di comprensione. Alcune cose da sistemare perché la struttura ha i suoi anni.

• Charlotte (10/5): - Lovely, spacious dorm with comfortable beds. The guys that work there are very kind and accommodating, and the Sri Lankan breakfast is great. It's a little way out of town, but worth the short walk/tuk tuk ride for the quiet and the views.

The staff were very kind and showed great hospitality. When I told them I would leave the hostel at 5 am to visit Horton Plains National Park, they woke up around 4:30 am and packed my breakfast in a paper box so that I could take it with me. N/A

• Hosne (9/5): The highlight is the location! It has a beautiful view of the city and easy to get to by tuktuk even though it’s uphill - Would have given it a 7 as it has bare minimum facilities but gave a point extra for the hosts and another for the location. The hot water in the bathroom is inconsistent and difficult to control temperature. Bathroom has no amenities (handwash, shampoo, shower gel/soap, toothpaste or toothbrush). Although not uncommon for Sri Lankan hostels, majority places have some sort of facilitation for these.
• Fred (9/5): I said before…. a perfect place at a perfect location👍 - It was a perfect stay at a perfect location. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was also good. The only small thing we could think of is that the communication with the staff was a bit difficult. But no reason not to go to this place.
• ADAM (5/5): Nice staff in the freezing hotel. - The view from the hotel is very nice. The place was extremely cold/ it was freezing in our room. Windows were leaky therefore the wind was blooming to the room and we could hear all the noise from the outside - dogs were barking as crazy the whole night. There were no hand towels in the toilet and there was no hot water in the washbasin/ but there was hot water under the shower. The staff is very nice but and gave us additional blanket but as the weather in the area is similar the whole year there should be some sort of heater available.
• Léo (8/5): Excellent hôtel sur les hauteurs - Un établissement propre et neuf ! J’ai séjourné dans le dortoir et j’ai eu la chance d’y être seul, la salle de bain était impeccable et il y avait bien de l’eau chaude ! Le lit était très confortable, c’est vraiment top ! Le petit-déjeuner était vraiment copieux ! Il faisait un peu froid au réveil car toutes les portes étaient ouvertes et l’hôtel est un peu sur les hauteurs donc facilement dans la brume

• Stéphane (4/5): Gla gla gla - Le personnel qui se donnait de la peine.. 1. Le manque d'eau chaude dans une région où justement il fait froid et humide ; 2. C'est bruyant, ,chambre, hall, tout raisonne et avec les animaux (chiens, poules...) juste à côté... pas calme ! 3. Les marches d'escalier ne sont pas à la même hauteur, résultat on a faillit me tomber deux fois ; 4. La literie est bien sauf un "détail " bien trop petit en longueur (et pourtant on n'est pas hyper grand 1m70 et 1m75). Bon, le pire, clairement le froid : il est scandaleux de ne pas jouir d'eau chaude à ce prix là.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht passend. Leckeres Frühstück, aber für die eher durchschnittliche Ausstattung und die Lage außerhalb etwas zu teuer.

• Stefanie (3/5): - Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut und die Zimmer sind angenehm groß. Auch die warme Dusche war ein Plus, und wir bekamen bei der Ankunft einen Tee, während wir auf unser Zimmer warteten. Leider keine Empfehlung Leider gab es mehrere gravierende Mängel: Das Zimmer war undicht, kalte Luft zog durch schlecht abgedichtete Fenster, und ohne Heizung wurde es nachts sehr kalt. Dadurch war das gesamte Zimmer dauerhaft feucht, wegen der schlechten Isolierung. Zusätzlich war es laut durch Musik aus dem Dorf. Nach dem Duschen stand das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Der Service ließ zu wünschen übrig: Das Personal war zwar anwesend, aber völlig unmotiviert und ohne jede Gastfreundschaft – ganz anders als der Rest unserer Reise durch Sri Lanka. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass der Preis im Nachhinein einfach angepasst und basierend auf einem schlechteren USD-Kurs erhöht wurde. Insgesamt das schlechteste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unserer Sri-Lanka-Reise.

• Sithira (8/5): Nice but needs improvement - We found the suite to be very reasonably priced, and it offered a beautiful view. The location is superb—just a short distance from the town and Gregory Lake. The property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with great in-room amenities that made our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was unfortunately one of the least enjoyable we had during our entire road trip. Additionally, the staff could benefit from more training, as the level of hospitality didn’t quite match what we experienced in the south. That said, they were polite and did attend to our requests. The rooms are quite old, which some may appreciate for the classic charm, but it's worth noting for those who prefer more modern accommodation.
• Elise (10/5): Great value worth the price and great stay - Great place ended up extending my stay I loved it so much. Great breakfast included and beautiful scenery of tea plantations. Great value for money. Nothing the hotel can change but it can be a bit noisy in the morning at 5am with the mosque nearby for the morning prayers.
• Elise (9/5): Great place and good value - Great place the beds were so comfy one of the best in Sri Lanka. We had the dorm room and it was so worth the price and included breakfast was amazing. Close to town about 30 mins walk or 5-10 mins by tuk tuk. So peaceful and lovely place Nothing was great only thing is you hear the mosque at 5am each morning that is close by but nothing the hotel can do just so you know.

A lot of tea work done on the plantation The rooms are probably better then hostel place. I liked the beds and small shelves near them. Enough space. A bit cold but it's everywhere like this. There was nothing to hang a towel on🥲 Stuff was kind but not good with English. Also, why don't you use linen for the pillows and duvets? I hope you add them later, I could see that everything is very fresh new.

Se tardan 30min andando (o 5min en Tuktuk pero te suelen cobrar caro porque el camino es malo.) Los trabajadores de allí son super amables, el desayuno es riquísimo y con unas vistas de 10/10. Muy recomendable Los tuktuk te cobran aproximadamente 800-1000 por devolverte a casa

• Marta (10/5): Dla osób, które lubią zwiedzanie poza szlakiem turystycznym. - Rezerwując miejsce nie wiedziałam, że znajduje się ono w bezpośrednim otoczeniu plantacji herbaty. Zatem obserwowanie codziennej pracy Pań zbierających herbatę, było dodatkowym zaskoczeniem. Bliskość świątyni buddyjskiej daje niezapomniane wspomnienia, gdy o 5 można było przysłuchiwać się bębnom i śpiewom mnichów patrząc na zamglone uprawy herbaty i wschód słońca. Coś prawie, że surrealistycznego, wartego miliony dolarów. Miejsce znajduje się trochę dalej od miasta, ale bez problemu można dostać się tam wiesz, tuk-tukiem czy taksówką. Śniadania. Wolałabym tradycyjne lankijskie śniadanie, zamiast kiełbaski, omleta i tostów.

Staff were lovely & helpful, they bought us tea when we came back from our tour. Watch out for local taxes that are stated as additional to the booking.com price. My mistake, I didn’t realise & worked out to be more expensive than expected.
• Verena (10/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit wunderbarer Aussicht - Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, die Betten sind super bequem. Die Dusche war die beste, die ich auf meiner Sri Lanka reise hatte (sehr heißes Wasser). Der Besitzer und alle Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb mitten in den Teebergen, dafür hat man eine sehr schöne Aussicht. Ich würde definitiv wieder kommen :) Vielen Dank für alles. War alles top :)

The hospitality was great, the staff was so respectful, they packed my breakfast for me as I had an early departure, I was greeted with tea upon arrival and at my departure, my room was breathtaking with 2 stories. And it had such a lovely view. I for sure would stay there again.
• Anna (10/5): добавить одноразовые тапочки - Это была одна из наших запоминающихся остановок! Во-первых, это было самое комфортное по температуре и влажности место на Шри-Ланке. Во-вторых, отель находится на склоне в плантациях чая и если немного подняться вверх по дороже открывается красивый вид на озеро Грегори. Мы отдыхали втроем с ребенком(подростком) и номер был двухъярусный, что очень удобно. В номере есть все необходимое и даже фен (до этого в 4-х отелях не знали о его существовании), баночки с гелем, шампунем и кремом! Горячая вода прям горячая) На нашем этаже в гостиной накрывали завтраки и ужины. Все было очень вкусно! Хозяин очень приветливый человек и всегда старался помочь нам. Единственная область для улучшение- добавить одноразовые тапочки, т.к. нас попросили разуться перед входом в виллу, а полы везде из кафеля. Но мы одели носки и было вполне комфортно.
• Raúl 08 (8/5): Mejorable - La ubicación, la terraza, la habitación era muy grande. La cama muy cómoda. Muy limpio. La cena fue muy normal, nada excepcional. El baño olía bastante mal a cañerías. Olía toda la habitación por eso. Salia agua caliente durante los primeros 3 minutos, luego nada más. El termo del agua hacía ruidos repetitivos bastante molestos. Nos pareció caro.

The host likes to help with his dad's tuk tuk services as well, but sometimes it’s not communicated clearly. A minor suggestion rather: offer tea first, meal & the fruit. They offer this in the opposite order. That aside, really lovely food!

• Ines (10/5): Äusserst netter und herzlicher Besitzer und auch Personal. Super Zimmer inmitten der Teeplantage. Wir können es nur empf - Sehr saubere und schöne Zimmer. Ökologisch, man konnte gefiltertes Wasser nachfüllen lassen und Shampoo sowie Duschmittel war auch in Nachfüllgefässen. Besitzer setzte unser Verbesserungsvorschlag Nachttischlampen hinzustellen umgehend um. Wir wahren sehr gerührt darüber! Danke nochmals! Es gibt nichts auszusetzen…es war super!

• Shreya (9/5): Calm & Relaxing stay - Hotel is in a quiet & good location, overlooking tea plantations and easily accessible to most sightseeing places. Staffs were kind enough to upgrade our family to a room on the higher floor when the tv connection had some issue. Breakfast was western, fresh fruits and string hoppers and was tasty. Extremely hospitable, kind, ever-smiling staff (Pasindhu and 2 others as well) who cook yummy food, as we also had fried rice & kottu for dinner at the hotel on 2 nights. Staffs are always helping out if there is any issue. The hotel has balcony to sit and have a peaceful chat and coffee. Breakfast area on the 2nd floor is beautiful and overlooks the tea plantations. Rooms were huge & spacious, with an upper deck, bathrooms clean and hot water flowing anytime of the day or night. Highly recommend if you want a quiet & relaxing stay. Bathroom had some weird smell, may be due to the weather conditions in such places, but was squeaky clean.
• Nicole (8/5): Great View - Sehr schöne Lage inmitten der Teeplantage mit toller Aussicht. Nettes Personal. Gutes Frühstück. Tuktukfahrer vom Hotel aus buchbar. Schnell im Zentrum. Es war alles sehr sauber. Ich war im Dormzimmer und das Zimmer an sich war gut, aber die Stockbetten könnten renoviert werden. Sie wackeln extrem wenn man auf das obere Bett geht und quietschen/knarren, hatte bisher nie so schlechte.

• Lily (10/5): Gorgeous stay - Gorgeous hotel with a great view. Location nice and peaceful but not too far from the town. Shared dorm was incredibly clean - the bedding was incredible! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was yummy and was good to have coffee and tea in the rooms. Hotel also put me in contact with a Tuktuk driver who took me around for the day for a reasonable price. Would stay here again without a doubt. Nothing - it was perfect !
• Sergey (10/5): A Perfect Stay at Mount View Single Tree - This year, we visited Nuwara Eliya for the fourth time, and there was no question about where to stay. Of course, it had to be Mount View Single Tree again! The hotel exceeded all our expectations once more. The view from our window a balcony was absolutely breathtaking – tea plantations stretching as far as the eye could see, and a beautiful temple on the mountain. Hot water, good towels and bed linen, everything was perfect. We loved the Srilankan food at the hotel which was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our special thanks to Alex, the manager, who was not only professional but also genuinely kind and helpful. He was always ready to assist with any request or issue, making our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend! -

• Giorgia (9/5): Beautiful hotel on top of a hill - Beautiful hotel on top of a hill, surrounded by tea plantation! The place is clean and well equipped, we stayed in a private room. I recommend this place for a nice stay in Nuwara Eliya. There’s a tuktuk service to reach the city.

• Deirdre (9/5): - Really lovely staff who were so kind and helpful. The dorm room was really clean and the beds were so comfortable! Breakfast was really good and the location was really nice, up in the middle of the tea plantations, the view was stunning. There was just one bathroom available to use so maybe if there was one more it would have been better but only a minor thing.

• Alison (10/5): Home Away from Home - You Must stay here if you come to nuwara eliya. It’s CLEAN, has Hot showers, indoor slippers, fresh towels daily, lockers, Thick Comfortors & Duvet sheets to keep warm, beds felt like sleeping in a cloud, lovely free (really good) breakfast (toast, fruit, jam, sausage, omelette or traditional Sri Lanka pancakes & roti), available dinner options in case you don’t want to leave at night, the Kindest owner & staff who make the stay feel at home. Loved the living room common area, nice way to relax, maybe meet others. The owner helped organize tuktuks/tours depending on what you want to do and was very knowledgeable about the area. Very safe, even though it’s a 20 min walk from the city. As a female solo traveler I value safety and always hesitant if a place is outside in a more remote area, but this was perfectly placed away from the hustle, with elite, beautiful mountainous views and near view points/buddhist monastery. Lots of value for what you pay for & I highly enjoyed my stay. Also if you’re thinking of skipping Nuwara Eliya, don’t, it was worth a few nights and very lovely if you have time. Nothing, I wish I could have stayed longer.
• Franziska (10/5): Ich komme wieder! - Man konnte auswählen zwischen Sri Lanka oder English Frühstück. Es war sehr gut! Die Betten sind außergewöhnlich kuschelig, alles ist seeehr sauber hier. Die Gastgeber Familie ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Könnte mir keinen besseren Aufenthalt vorstellen! Alles war perfekt!
