• Gonzalo (10/5): Buen lugar para gente que viaja sola - Es justo lo que buscaba, un hostal con una habitación compartida amplia y camas con cortinas para mayor privacidad. Tienen buen desayuno incluido, arriendo de scooter en el lugar, organizan clases de surf y una sala de masajes. No es un hostal para hacer fiestas, ruido ni donde haya descontrol, es un típico hostal surfer muy tranquilo. Los colaboradores muy atentos siempre, excelente lugar.

Tout est absolument parfait, j - L’emplacement, le calme, les chambres originales, bien pensées, spacieuses et propres, l’organisation impeccable, les activités proposées, le petit déjeuner. Mais surtout la gentillesse du personnel ! Ils sont très chaleureux, très accueillants, on s’y sent comme à la maison avec sa petite famille. RAS

I really enjoy the breakfast there I booked a private room, with private bathroom, but didn’t have hot water for my shower. Considering that it’s a very expensive hostel for a private room, and that there is no swimming pool there, I don’t think it’s worth the price there. And it’s not like there was a super friendly atmosphere where everyone was talking to everyone there

• Chelsea (10/5): Excellent family-like stay in the heart of Kuta 🌊🏄🏽‍♀️☀️🌅 - I had a wonderful time at Secret Spot. The team is so kind, fun, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you to Kia, Arif, Roni, and everyone else for ruining such a wonderful place! The beds in the dorm are magical. I felt like I had my own room behind the curtain - that’s how much space there was. The spaces are designed for socialization, which made it easy to meet people! The facilities were also always clean and welcoming. Nothing.

• Nils (8/5): Cooler Vibe und ordentliche Anlage - Hübsche Zimmer und cooler Vibe. Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Küche im 2. Stock sowie Dachterrasse darüber mit gutem Blick über die Häuser. Die Küche darf von Gästen genutzt werden. Trinkwasserspender vorhanden. Das Doppelzimmer ist schick entworfen mit einem Sitzbereich unten und darüber dem Bett, was aus einer Matratze auf dem Steinrahmen bestand. Scooter und Surfunterricht direkt über die Rezeption buchbar. Frühstück auch vegan möglich und sehr lecker. Zimmer roch feucht und leicht muffig obwohl die Klimaanlage auf trocknen gestellt war und durchlief. Die Matratze im Sitzbereich unten war klamm, vermutlich da der Boden kühl war und schlecht lüftet. Der Weg ins Bett und zurück kann für manche schwer sein, da es nur eine steintreppe an der Wand ist ohne Geländer oder Griffe. Auf der Bett ist auch wenig Platz, sitzen ist dort nicht möglich. Bettlicht hängt direkt über dem Kopf und erinnerte in der Position etwas an die Lampe beim Zahnarzt.

• Dan (10/5): - Perfect low-key and peaceful place to stay in Kuta! We felt right at home! Clean, cozy rooms with cute decorations. Kia and the rest of the team are super lovely and helpful. The breakfast was delicious too! We would happily stay here again! We rented a scooter from them that was quick and easy, however it was a very old junky scooter.

• Isabella (10/5): - This place immediately felt like home. The hostel is compact and provides a warm welcoming. It is perfect for surf oriented people that want to have a good social group without the excess of a party hostel. The workers are amazing. 10/10 I would come back and recommend everyone to stay here. The crowd is also between mid 20s upwards, thankfully I would recommend the owners to improve the wellbeing and conditions of the guys doing the night shifts. It's really sad to see them on the side of the gate when that space could do with some couches and sofa for their comfort

• Alex (8/5): Studio room - Lovely little studio. Comfortable and clean for the most part. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We cooked pasta one night, which was refreshing. The flat has all the equipment we needed. Just one aircon in the flat and it’s located in the bedroom, it struggles to get its own room cool so the rest of the area was quite warm. Ants would claim any food left in the kitchen for over 20 minutes, but the bedroom was bug free :)

• Emily (10/5): Absolutely loved Secret Spot - Cutest place ever with lovely staff! I enjoyed the banana pancake a lot and met some amazing people at the hostel. The place really good located, even without a scooter I could just walk around to restaurants and shops! Super clean place with cozy dorm room and lots of space around.

Ik heb een super aangenaam verblijf gehad dankzij het vriendelijke personeel en het hostel is heel makkelijk om te socializen dankzij de zithoekjes. De dorm is vrij ruim, wat aangenaam is. Het ontbijt was heel lekker! Je kan tussen verschillende opties kiezen: smoothiebowls, pancakes, ... Ik raad het zeker aan! De surflessen zijn vrij prijzig, al is dat in de rest van Kuta ook zo. Ik vond het ook best lastig om mij te verplaatsen in Kuta en Lombok doordat ik niet met een scooter rijd. Hierdoor zit je vrij 'vast' in de hoofdstraten want wandelen is niet zo aangenaam hier.

• Lianne Maureen (8/5): Gezellig - Het personeel is echt ontzettend lief en gezellig om mee te praten. Ook helpen ze je direct als je iets nodig hebt. De bedden zijn groot en er is veel ruimte voor je spullen. De kamer en gemeenschappelijke ruimte zijn super leuk ingericht! Je kunt ook een scooter huren Mijn bed is in de 6 nachten van mijn verblijf niet verschoond en ik moest zelf vragen om een nieuwe handdoek. Ook komt het personeel zomaar veel binnen in de dorm.

Very friendly staff, lots of options for activities. Highly recommend the skate class as well :) Surprised by the large range of free breakfast food options, 10/10 will be back!! The dorm was spacious, the beds were super comfortable and I loved that each one offered plenty of privacy. The staff were amazing - friendly, welcoming and always making sure everything was spotless, from the bathrooms and common areas to the dorm itself. You can really tell they care about keeping the place clean and comfortable. I wish I could’ve stayed longer and definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxed and central place!

• Bobbie (8/5): Comfy and Central - It’s tucked away on a quite street which is nice, but your still close to everything you need! Breakfast was included and the smoothie bowls are so good yum yum yum. They also can organise activities, scooters etc there. I stayed in a private room which was a nice break from sharing. The room is clean on arrival but they do not service during your stay. Which was fine. The vibe was very low key. I was hoping it would be more social but everyone just stuck to themselves. I wish the staff made more of an effort for group activities to get everyone to mix and mingle.

The room was basic but clean and comfortable Staff were friendly We missed a fridge in the room but there is a communal fridge in the kitchen for everyone to use
