• Annette (10/5): Luxe verblijf - Wat een prachtige accomodatie, het oogt als een statig landhuis. En zo rustig gelegen, temidden van grasland met koeien en schapen. En tegelijkertijd dichtbij de stad Aberystwyth. Kortom, een prima uitvalsbasis voor diverse dagtochten. Er wordt een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt geserveerd, met ei, diverse soorten vlees, zalm en goede kazen. Plus heerlijk fruit en yoghurt. Top!

• Silke (9/5): Schönes Ambiente und tolles Frühstück - Die Lage ist toll. Die Unterkunft insgesamt sehr geschmackvoll und das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Leider war das Duschwasser nur lauwarm.
• Claudia & Andreas (9/5): - Einen Einblick in das gehobenere englische Leben zu erhalten war schon ein Erlebnis. Der Preis für die Unterkunft ist allerdings auch eher gehobener. Das B & B ist 12 Min vom Zentrum entfernt. Das Bett war eher schmal.

• Williams (8/5): - The room and bed was excellent. Being told on arrival that the room was on a room only basis, where as I booked and paid for bed and breakfast . That is not what is expected from a place advertised as bed and breakfast . The shower fitting was loose, and water ran down the fitting and onto the floor.before I could stop it . I used a towel to mop it up, and it needs checking. A light bulb did not work. The step down to the bathroom could cause an accident. The South Walian use of gog.

• Mark (9/5): A tranquil setting less than 10 minutes from the center of town. - A beautiful location in the countryside, away from the main road. We enjoyed watching the rabbits in the early evening. The host was very welcoming and helpful, including where to dine in town. There was some noise from the TV in the room next door, but luckily they went to bed when we did.

No lift for upstairs rooms, FYI, but very comfy rooms and bed with all amenities provided. Great to hear that the hair products by Olew are courtesy of the designer and manufacturer - Caryl's very talented daughter! I personally prefer to have a face washer available wherever I go, so these are not provided, and the creaky stairs and upstairs floor were disconcerting as it may be a bother to other guests coming and going.

• Rozalia (10/5): Caryl was an excellent host and our stay was relaxed and pleasurable. - Our room was very spacious with an adjoining dressing room leading to a large bathroom with a freestanding bath. Top quality decor and finishes. The breakfast was excellent. Varied cereals, berries and yoghurt + cold meats and cheeses. Caryl cooked a lovely scrambled egg and smoked salmon dish which we enjoyed. Copious tea, coffee and toast set us up for the day ahead. In our room was a fridge with fresh milk and bottle of water - the drive down had been so hot we needed the cool drink. There was nothing that we didn't like.
• Claire (8/5): I like to stay at different places so would not return for that reason but highly recommended. - Good quiet location if you don't want to be in town. Bed and linin was best I have experienced in a B and B. We enjoyed the breakfast but if you want a big fry up this is not for you. Beautiful scrambled eggs , cold meets and cereal and fresh fruit. Really cant think of anything worth mentioning. If i was being really fussy would have been nice to have a biscuit with our cup of tea when we arrived.

Bed was not very comfy, no soundproofing between the rooms (we could hear next door snoring), property was difficult to find using satnav. Given the price and the promised “5 stars” I was disappointed.
