Guest Reviews
- Felita (7/5): Good - Despite some noises coming from the restaurant or bar nearby, the location was spectacular. The staff was very prompt and attentive in answering all of my questions regarding check in, parking etc The apartment's floor was not cleaned / mopped properly ( we are asians so we took of our shoes at the door and our feet were black in no time ) and the cutlery drawer had some oil stains when i checked in. The bathroom has sewer smell and the toilet seat did not match the toilet ( the seat was too small for the toilet) But nothing major.
- Nafeesur (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juheb (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (7/5): Nice apartment, responsive management, but units seem to be poorly maintained. - The management company was very responsive and helped quickly to deal with the issues I encountered (see below). The apartment is comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. The location is convenient to downtown San Diego, the ballpark, convention center, etc., and there is a grocery store very close by. Coffee and snacks are provided in the apartment. When I arrived, the air conditioning in the unit wasn't working. The management was responsive and moved me to another unit. When I got to the other unit, there was a load of laundry running -- it turned out that somebody staying in another unit was using the washing machine because the one in their unit was broken. There seem to be general issues with maintenance of all the units. The one that I eventually stayed in had small problems, such as a broken display on the microwave, broken vertical blinds (also an issue in the first unit with the broken A/C).
- Fiona (7/5): Good - A nice unit with seperate lounge and bedroom. Had everything we needed and was close to town and quick uber to Snap Dragon stadium where we were going. CLean and tidy, had a washing machine and they provided washing liquid which was great, and provided coffee machine and light snacks. Also there is a supermarket with everything you need right over the road. The aircon needs work as it makes a bit of noise. Also being right in downtown area there is a bit of traffic noise that we are not used to from country living. Has double glazing though so minimised when doors are shut
- Michalhorny (4/5): Sketchy business practices, poor quality - The host sent a useful summary before my arrival and was responsive to questions throughout my stay. The apartment had pretty much everything I needed (but I didn't need much). Overall, this was not a good experience. The first disappointment that tainted my entire stay was the fact that the host asked for money beyond what I paid on the Booking.com platform "to finalize [my] reservation for the property." It turned out it was a security deposit but the request for money did not specify that. Hosts asking for money outside the reservation platform is a big red flag and perhaps the most common activity of scammers. I travel a good amount and commonly reserve my stays at "non-hotel facilities" via Airbnb or Booking.com, and this was the first time a host asked for extra money. Despite this, I kept my reservation and I am not sure if that was a good idea. The quality of everything in the apartment was decisively subpar: most cabinet doors were sagging, window blind slats were falling off, the couch cushion zipper was messed up and thus, the cushion cover did not stay on well, walls were dirty, and some areas of the apartment were poorly cleaned. Because the host took a security deposit (an unusual and sketchy practice), I felt like I had to document all this disrepair immediately upon arrival because I fully expected them to blame it on me to keep my money (as of now, I have not received the security deposit back). To top it all off, there were human excrements in front of the building, and the location was not amazing either. I would not stay here again.
- Trevor (8/5): Very good -
- Minkyoung (10/5): Good apartment to stay with family - This house was very comfortable and suitable for us who needed a washing machine because of our children. Also, I really liked that the food processor was on the sink.
But we experience a little bit problems.
First of all, due to downtown, we saw some homeless around this home. But We saw safeguard, they tried to be safe. And it does not matter to stay here. Homeless is everywhere in Downtown.
Second, there was a noise upstairs like footstep.
But Even with these points, the accommodation was safe, and the response of the staff was very fast. Also, it was very comfortable to have a mart right in front of house, and I could cook and eat comfortably at home.
If I come back with my children, I will stay in this accommodation.
I recommend this house which is very good for family some noisy upstairs:(
- Maureisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nuttra (10/5): Exceptional - Clean , cozy and comfortable not far from convention center. Near grocery store.
- Cris (9/5): Superb - location, value, amenities, huge place. Communication with hosts. took them a day before replying to my query.
little details about cleanliness.
Overall, I would recommend this place. 9/10
