Guest Reviews
- Alisha (6/5): Pleasant - Everything
- Alisha (9/5): Superb - Everything Everything is perfect
- Hammerly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janey (7/5): Good deal! - Clean, well laid out, nice decor, bed was comfortable, close to stores Neighborhood questionable, patio lights on all night Door was licked and unable to get out in case of fire.
- Troy (10/5): Perfect getaway - Great
- Young (10/5): Loved the stay - Very neat and clean Nothing
- Madeline (4/5): Very disappointed in this booking. I spend the extra money to sleep somewhere peaceful and ended up with the same experi - The location was great for being close to downtown, the courthouse, coffee, and drinks. All a short walk away. It was nice to be close to I-5 as well. I always enjoy contactless entry as well The walls were incredibly thin. A doorway behind curtains led to a hallway seemingly shared between the other units. This hallway was used at all hours throughout the night to enter into the neighboring unit. Between 10am and 4 am we continuously heard loud footsteps, slamming doors, and screaming between tenants. Additionally, the bed wasn’t incredibly uncomfortable though, the bed frame squeaked with any slight movement. There were no extra blankets or linens throughout the unit.
- Alisha (9/5): Very beautiful place - Everything and they were very helpful as well I was able to book though them another night Small bathroom
- Aristy (8/5): Very good - Space for value and the customer service was excellent Laundry room was being used none stop, people left their clothes there overnight so I didn’t get a chance to use it
- Juan (8/5): Very good - Tv. ..kitchen...the Bed.. The air conditioner was not working at all..The Heater...
- Melissa (8/5): It was nice, there was a homeless person looking through trash when we arrived. But it seemed safe. - Nice and clean The coffee grinder didn't work. I texted the host and never heard anything. It tells you to text if you need something and they never responded.
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Papa (6/5): Pleasant - Clean The air con leaked and dripped all night. Other clients have listed. The same complaint.....
- Martinez (10/5): Exceptional - Cozy Close to town
- Alisha (5/5): Passable - The communication with stuff How small the Bathroom was.
- Bruce (8/5): Works - Having small kitchen was convenient. The bathroom was very small but had a large walk through closet. Seems like they could have made larger bathroom and not such a large closet. Older home converted so floors were uneven but was kind of the old home charm. Bed was comfortable but noisy when you moved around on.
It was a very hot day and they had room cooled down on our arrival which was very thoughtful. We would stay again. Some of these issues just come with older homes.
- Veronica (6/5): Pleasant - Good facilities Location
- Eric (9/5): Superb -
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeanne (10/5): cosy stop over - The suite was cosy with everything we needed. The air conditioning was great, especially after a day of driving through 100° weather. My dog was comfortable and there were plenty of places within walking distance to go with him. There was some noise from the air conditioning, but it wound up not disturbing my sleep at all. There were disposable ear plugs on the table that I suppose I could have used if it did.
- Craig (5/5): Passable -
- Najjar (9/5): Superb - Very clean, bed, desk, chair and kitchen are very comfortable. Good space. Seem safe neighborhood. Bathroom sink is small. Neighborhood could be lower socioeconomic.
- Kara (9/5): Superb -
- Reid (8/5): Good location. Fair price. Quiet. Full kitchen. - Full kitchen. Quiet. Instructions in room unclear.
- Carlotta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Celestina (9/5): Overall I enjoyed my stay and would book again. - It had a very cozy vibe. Also loved the self service laundry. It got really dark at night maybe some better lighting in the back where the cars are parked. Also homeless dumpster diving almost every night of my stay. There was a slow drain in the tub but the owners got on it right away and even kindly refunded me for a night for the inconvenience.
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional - The owners communication with me always accommodating my needs and prompt answering within messages.
- Jim (8/5): The little things - Clean, quiet, comfortable The little things: the bathroom toilet seat loose, the toilet paper roll was loose. the towel holder in bathroom loose. Chandler in master bulb burned out.
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - The room was so cozy and comfortable. Loved the setup and how close to downtown we were The orange curtains lol
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional - How clean it was! Nothing it accommodated me just fine!
- Nicholas (8/5): Comfy place with great hosts - Easy check-in/check out with great communication from the hosts. The place was comfortable and well furnished. Noise from neighbours was a bit disruptive and the heating didn’t get from the heater to the bathroom, which was pretty cold.
- Peggy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Evan (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (7/5): Measure 30" before you accept the terms, to make certain you can access the bed! - No breakfast. Bed was over 30 inches high! Too high for me. Fine for my husband. . I slept on the chair the first night. For the remainder of my stay I borrowed a step stool. On the last day, I found a stepping stool tucked by the fridge. It would have been easier when the host texted me regarding the accommodations. I mentioned the bed was too high and unusable for me. But no one responded. At all!
Except for the lack of an accessible bed, many things were fine. Very usable with full amenities in the kitchen. Once I had a step stool, the bed was comfortable. Parking was an ample well marked accessible spot. All was clean.
- Kira (10/5): Exceptional - Very cozy and clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again.
- Kayla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anita (10/5): relaxing comfortable and enjoyable - It was the perfect place to get away for some much needed alone time. Everything was exactly as advertised and the late check out option was easy to request. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Only thing I would add is one additional ice tray in freezer, full length mirror and information on where a visitor could park.
- Mason (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dale (9/5): Great place for a reasonably-priced stay. Quiet too! - Cute and historic studio apartment in a 4-plex with off street parking. Nice little kitchen, walk in closet and good shower. The bed was big and comfortable and the wifi worked great. Check in easy. The code lock on the apartment door wasn't working.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Room and full set kitchen The location was a little scary. Upstairs was noisy didn't get much sleep
- Evan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katie (5/5): Passable - The location was close to downtown and was easy to park with the designated space. I thought of this more as an apartment than a suite. It felt like someone was renting out their apartment instead of a homey-hotel feel. The bed was big but it was super creaky anytime you moved around in it so it was hard to get good sleep. The walls were thin and you could hear the neighbors chatting loudly. The shower was a bit small. When we walked in there were used paper towels left on the bed. It was alright for the price.
- Maureen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Will (10/5): Exceptional - I enjoyed the convenience of the check in & check out processes. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable for the night. Little road noise at night. Other than the house smelling like an older home, and a creaky bed, nothing else was noticed about the accommodations.
- Catherine (5/5): Probably would not stay there again. - Closer to work. All the steps, no mention of them. I feel I was lied to about price advertised. I saw room price was lowered and the girl acted like I was getting a better room, and that’s why I was being charged $400.00 more. Not true they are all pretty much the same. Not happy with that and I got locked out of my room one night and had to wait to get in my room.
- Robert (10/5): Quiet and comfy - Easy access. Private parking. No hassle check in/out. Shower was too small. The shower head came to my chest and I had to almost squat to rinse off.
- Sonia (9/5): Superb -
- Eric (8/5): Very good - The bed was great!
The room was clean and well laid out.
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Duong (6/5): Pleasant - The room is clean, but there is a smell of cigarette when we first came. The address is difficult to find, we had to call the host number to find the way to the alley and apartment. The bathroom, bathtub is very slippery, I think the host should put some kind of rubber match in there to prevent the risk of fall.
- Rebecca (5/5): Passable - The place smelled of cigarette smoke and the air conditioner in the place had such a bright light it was like the light was on all night making it hard to sleep.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and organized place! Felt comfortable to stay in N/A
- Cynthia (10/5): Great Place - I liked that my dog was welcomed there and they provided treats. The bed was clean and comfortable, the AC worked amazing. I liked that the kitchen was stocked with everything, the laundry room was great and we didn't have to bring dirty clothes back from our vacation. The location was perfect it's close to everything. The bathroom was provided with towels, shampoo and conditioner along with body wash. Perfect place for couples! I recommended this place to a few of my friends and will for sure be staying again in the near future The noise outside you could hear, they did provide ear plugs which I am grateful for. The noise doesn't last long.
- Christian (9/5): Top notch - Great kitchen
Location excellent
Quiet air conditioner
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Convenience of an apartment at the price of a dive hotel room. Just about everything one might need for a comfortable stay with as much "at home" feel as you might care to make it. The internet was sketchy, but there really wasn't much on tv anyway. Just used my phone. The electric door lock stopped working after the first day. Not a problem for me and I'm sure if I had reported it, they would have been happy to fix it.
- Patricia (10/5): host has thought of everything. so much better than staying at a hotel yet price was comparable. - very clean. quiet. easy reserved parking. everything we needed was provided. nicely decorated. it was a hot day but the A/C worked perfectly.
- Donice (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donice (7/5): It was the right choice for my needs. - Perfect for proximity to courthouse. Very quiet. Two good restaurants for dinner within easy walking distance. The wifi connection was very unreliable. The two knives provided were exceptionally dull. Silverware was very cheap and barely functional.
- Judie (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (4/5): Ugh. - Not much. It wasn’t a hotel room. More like an air bnb or staying with your aunt Bertha. Advertised breakfast included,
But NO. Bed was too soft and lumpy. Too much velour. Advertised price was almost half of what we paid. Won’t ever use Booking, com again. Your site was misleading to say the least.
- Erin (8/5): Very good -
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional - modern feel, good location. comfy bed.
- Lia101 (10/5): Better than staying in hotel - Great decoration, cozy, quiet, feel like home. Washer and dryer are in the building which is a bonus. The kitchen has microwave, full-size fridge and stove, utensils, plates, etc. Everything you need for your stay. Definitely will book again if we're in Medford
- Aline (9/5): I'd stay there again. - Location was great. I could walk downtown. Also, I liked having a kitchen to make my own meals and refrigerate what I brought with me. Bed was comfortable.
I didn't try the TV, but I'm sure it was fine. I emailed about some trash left in the little patio that went with the suite and they were very responsive about my request to get their cleaners to deal with it before their next guest came.
I would have liked to have met at least one of my hosts. Everything is done by email or text.
- April (10/5): Great comfortable place. Home away from home. - The property was nicely located around downtown and Asante Hospital. very clean, comfortable bed and was dog friendly. The manager was very kind and easy to contact And the price exceptional.
- Judie (8/5): The room was nice and the bed was really comfortable. Just had a problem with the cleanliness of the room. - we loved room. Getting up to our rooms was very difficult with the angle of the stairs. it was very hard to find the place. Had to make 3 phone calls to find and get instructions on how to get into our room. The toilet was not clean , it still hard feces in the toilet, which made me fill like did they even clean the room and changed the sheets. I had to wipe everything down.
- Caroline (8/5): Neat and Tidy - I'd Stay Here Again - The location was good in that it was close to the old town and the house was quiet. Because it is a fairly new remodel of the building into a short term rental space, everything was very clean and tidy. The bed was excellent. Space was good - and so was WiFi. Finding it was easy and having the parking out back was convenient too. While the bathroom is small the space worked just fine. I always wish these places had a bit more in the kitchen category: at least two types of coffee making systems (but they did have a jar of coffee beans!); but there was zero for tea. Also, it would be great if there were several spices, a few basic oils, vinegars, hot sauces, etc. Just so that if you want to make wraps with eggs in the morning, you do not need to buy ALL the little incidentals (They did have salt, pepper, oil blend and -I think- a balsamic!). So this was good, but it could've used a little more to feel truly ready for anybody. On our return trip through the area we stayed in a sweet vintage hotel with breakfast included. It was $50 more, but it was $50 better... so... Privacy and solitude or people and amennities?
The only BIG thing I did not care for was the online "security" checking system that you had to go through prior to booking completion. This felt like an invasion of privacy. No other lodging company has ever asked me to allow them to essentially run a background check on me before they would complete and confirm my booking. (I felt like I should ask them to prove to me they are a bonified business and not some local running an elaborate bait & switch!) Nonetheless, I kept the booking because we wanted to check out Medford and I am curious about (and have been testing other similar lodging arrangements like this) - the increase in self-catering, auto check-in, contactless, mini-hotels all over the US and in Europe. I like the premise, but feel they are still learning how to polish themselves up.
- Lydonna (10/5): Inexpensive clean and comfortable 👌 - I loved the privacy and homey feel. Already booked for next trip to Medford Wish there was a charging station.
- Dan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (7/5): i would recommend it to a friend for sure - nice and quiet it smelled like marijuana throughout the neighborhood but I didn’t mind, it was nice to visit
- Berry (10/5): Exceptional - very clean
- Berry (10/5): calm - very clean and maintained place there wasn’t nothing I didn’t like
- Kevin (9/5): Superb - the inside of the property made it feel very homey and comfortable while keeping the sense of privacy. parking place made me feel uneasy at first but neighbors seem lovely and it went by smoothly so didn’t feel like that towards the end.
- K (10/5): Exceptional -
- K (10/5): Exceptional - great place to stay
- K (10/5): Exceptional - very nice and comfortable
- Dusty (10/5): Time out - The amount of space, the kitchen,bed...everything was like the comfort of being home, but also on a relaxing vacation. Medford.is an close to home middle ground, and has really deteriorated...but you were out far enough I guess from all the problems that have accumulated.
- Michaella (10/5): I will be coming back and I recommend this place to anybody coming into town. It’s a great place to stay. - we arrived at the property. The check-in was hassle free that was amazing. That was nice so we had to do a settle in. There’s honestly nothing I didn’t like I even had to make a change in my reservation and they got right on it. They fixed but I need it fixed and my stay was perfect. I appreciate that.
- Joanne (8/5): Very good -
