• Katharina (10/5): - Great apartment, had everything we needed, beautiful interior! Beds comfy, everything very clean, great view from the balcony. A bit tricky to find, but maybe that's just us being silly. I would definitely recommend staying there, if you are in the area.
• James (9/5): Great stay but access to much for me - The property was extremely clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds and a lovely walk in shower. Situation is great as lots of eating places within easy walking distance. We had booked another apartment but it was cancelled the day before we left so very quickly we had to book this one. Unfortunately it has a lot of steps on entering thry are very steep. The owner saw us getting out the car and was worried we weren’t able to get up. It was a struggle but our lovely host brought lots of our stuff up from the car and also texted that she would come when leaving to help. She has another apartment which has only the entrance stairs and if going again will book that one.
• Alan (9/5): Can’t wait to come again. - Everything high quality and no corners have been cut during the conversion to a Holliday rental. Better than any 4* hotel that we normally use. Huge sofa but a bit soft and spongy for my taste but, as said, that is purely my preference for a firmer more supportive sofa.

• Hina (10/5): We had a lovely time at the apartment. - The view was good The staff was lovely and they offered to clean up whenever we needed. It’s not a complaint just a suggestion there should be hoover available in the apartment for a quick clean up .

• Linda S (9/5): Modern and very comfortable seaside apartment - The apartment was very modern and well appointed. Furnishings and decor were lovely. Location is fab with views out across the Firth of Clyde. The host, Jackie was very friendly and helpful. I left an item of clothing behind and the host posted it back to me... exceptional service. The only thing we didn't like was how steep the internal stairs were. We managed OK but extra care required especially going down the way when carrying bags! It wouldn't however put us off coming back to the property because everything else was top notch.

We booked as a stop over night on our way to the west coast, it was so nice we didn’t want to leave. The view from the windows are great, the balcony, the reading chairs, the comfy sofa and family games worked so well for us (family of 4). Sainsbury’s directly across the road, lots of restaurants to choose from if you want to eat out. If you want to stay and cook the kitchen if fully equipped.

That is outstanding - My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crow’s Nest, one of the Waverley Apartments in Gourock, and it was an exceptional experience. The apartment is beautifully furnished, offering a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and cozy bedrooms. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities made it feel like a true home away from home. The location is ideal, situated near a variety of restaurants, the ferry terminal with routes to Dunoon and beyond, and within walking distance of the train station for trips to Glasgow. For golf enthusiasts, there are multiple courses situated close to the location. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable stay. The apartment was immaculate, and the facilities were top-notch, including reliable Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs for entertainment. Overall, my stay at the Crow’s Nest was outstanding, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Gourock.

Highly recommend! - Everything at The Crow’s Nest was of a high standard ie the fittings, furniture, bedding and cleanliness. Towels, T.Towel, dish cloth, cleaning products and toiletries were provided. Salt n Pepper. A nice touch bottled water and chocolates on the table, a lovely welcome. Communication was excellent nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is extremely central for all amenities. Parking on the road free 2 hours. £2 in the car park for a full day. Free overnight parking (car park opposite the apartment). Very impressed would book again and highly recommend. Perhaps a few more extra plates and bowls would be helpful for serving salads, deserts, cakes etc (only 4 of each) otherwise a great selection of all equipment and utensils.
• Bubba12 (10/5): Cosy stay in a beautiful apartment - Our host met us at the apartment and gave us a quick tour and local info. The WiFi was playing up due to the horrendous weather but it was fixed with an hour of our arrival. The apartment was very well equipped to a high finish. The view and location were great but the weather was terrible so we couldn't enjoy the terrace as we'd hoped. Nevertheless we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend these apartments. Nothing

• Kathy (10/5): Exceptional - Personal welcome by Jacqui. We stayed with our daughter and 5mth old granddaughter. Plenty room for us all, bedrooms so roomy. Perfect hideaway. Beautifully renovated, all mod cons, the most comfortable sofa and beds. Immaculate, great layout and river view from all the windows. We loved sitting for breakfast looking out over the water and high street with all its quirky shops and eateries. Especially enjoyed our daily coffee trip to Wild Fire delicatessen, where we were welcomed by Alec and Luca knew our order after 1st day! Direct walkway from flat down to Lower Kempock car park which always had spaces and free over weekend. We unfortunately had to leave early due adverse weather and were driving down south, but we certainly plan to return. We loved it! Thank you Jacqui and Stephen. Kathy

• Natasha (9/5): Pleasant discovery at the Crows Nest. - the apartment was lovely, I came up with two of my sisters who both also commented on how nice the apartment was, the cost worked really well for the 3 of us who split it. location is great and close to where we needed to be during our visit, I would really like to visit again and bring the kids. I went for a morning run along the water front and managed to get a good 6km in, local amenities where great and there are good options for eatting out but it was also a short drive to Greenock for cost effective stores for when you wanted to eat in. Parking was good as well once you got your head around the disks, but wasn't much trouble and always found a spot to park. Also got to view the most beautiful sunset I've seen in a while. I know it's probably a building regulations or fire safety requirement but the green emergency lighting is very bright when your in bed, this wont be an issue for some people but it was really distracting for me and my sisters but... I worked a solution and slept better the 2nd night. If light at night bugs you, bring a eye mask 👍🏽

• Angela (10/5): Excellent apartment with amazing views. - The location was perfect for us as we were visiting family in Greenock and Skelmorlie. Gourock has some lovely shops and cafes along with the heated outdoor pool. Amazing views from the apartment (Crows Nest), it has a modern finish and is equipped with everything you need. Would definitely book to stay here again. The only part you had to keep a check on was the parking and ensuring you didnt run over the time but not a major issue as we were out and about each day. The stairs to the apartment are quite steep, just a note for anyone with mobility issues.

Stephen the host was very friendly and provided all the information we needed at check in. The apartment was finished to a very high standard. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Great recommendations for the surrounding area. Lovely balcony area to enjoy the comings and goings or just to sit and enjoy the sunset and spectacular views. • Anne-katrin (10/5): Exceptional - It is just such a beautiful and well equipped appartment with everything you need and even some more. Not just staying there felt great, but also the friendly and welcoming people in the little shops, the heated swimming pool, the cafes and restaurants and on the farmers market in Gourock made our stay very special. We came by public transport and got around by train, bus and ferry just fine to all the nice places like Dunoon, Isle of Bute and of course, Glasgow. With our kid we also went to the Leisure Centre with a great pool and slides and the indoor playground - so it is also a wonderful place for a family vacation. Just loved and really enjoyed it!

• Darren (10/5): Wonderful anpartments and hosts! - The Waverley Apartments are fantastic, very well equipped, extremely comfortable and the location is great as everything on your doorstep and great base to explore! The hosts are fabulous and really couldn’t do enough for us whilst we were there, so helpful. We have stayed at both the Wedge and the Crow’s Nest and we had a wonderful stay in each of them. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these apartments and we will definitely be back 😃
• Milly (10/5): Beautiful apartment overlooking the river Clyde and situated amidst the friendly community of Gouroc - - Fabulous Beautiful apartment overlooking the river Clyde and situated amidst the friendly community of Gourock. This apartment undoubtedly has the wow factor and has been decorated to a high standard with tasteful furnishings and local artwork in all of the rooms. We were spoilt for choice with eating and drinking places on our doorstep and excellent transport links to Glasgow are a few minutes walk away. Excellent facilities include a supermarket, a variety of gift shops, galleries, a fabulous deli and artisan coffee shops. The hosts really go out of their way to ensure that guests have the best experience they can in The Crow’s Nest. Their attention to detail and genuine care has made our stay here a memorable one.
