Guest Reviews
- SERGI (6/5): -
- Zara (7/5): - Property was clean and tidy and worked well for our needs as a group and for why we were there. Issues accessing the keys due to being given the wrong code for the lock box. Window latches were broken meaning the windows could open fully so we had to leave them closed while we were out as opposed to on the latch etc
- Guest (5/5): -
- STEWART (3/5): Location with bed and shower - Location Place is falling apart, needs a refurb. Hallway stinks. Kitchen isn't equipped for use. Cupboard doors are falling off. Lock in bathroom doesn't line up so have to shower unlocked.
Can open front communal door without the key as the wood is so warped.
There are dirty rugs covering the, presumably even dirtier, carpet in the living room.
Just in desperate need for refurbishment.
- NOELIA (6/5): - Ubicación La cocina estaba echa polvo. La ducha hacia mucho ruido. El rellano estaba bastante sucio.
- Arpinder (1/5): Bad bad experience - It’s not nice stay with family . We went there last week. Our experience was so bad. Firstly, when we enter , the electricity not working. It took 2 our to sort out. Then gas was not working. When gas start after 45 minutes, gas stove burners not working. I went there with 3 kids . I talk to manager they said their colleague call you. They call and said they came there 11:30pm . That time The actual time was 10pm. We stop them because that was too late. Kids sleep without milk. Around 12.00pm my kids wake up and cries nonstop.
We leave apartment within 20 minutes. And went home. We lost our London attraction tickets around £300 and this apartment £180 as well.
please don’t stay in this apartment. If anyone go with kids. The vibes was not good there.
- Lindsay (6/5): OK - Great location close to Brick Lane, very inexpensive with 4 of us staying there, decent sized place. It all needs a bit of TLC, I wouldn’t say it’s luxury! There were a few broken cupboards in the kitchen, and the carpet in the living looks like it needs replacing (it’s been covered by a rug). We found the bathroom door a bit dodgy (someone struggled to get out and someone had to open from the outside) and the electric shower is VERY loud!
- Alejandro (5/5): Some bumps along the road but great accommodation in a great location! - It was close to all the nice sights of London like the markets and the Gherkin! Bricklane was also fun to pass by!
The bedding was nice and comfortable and everything was clean. The kitchen was also well furnished and when we couldn’t use the cooker we could microwave or airfy. To be honest when we first stepped in the property was in a state of disrepair. Cupboard hanging of handle, drawers broken, cooker spark plug not working so we couldn’t cook as we wanted so we spent so much more more eating out.
We even had a little mishap during our stay but what I can say if the staff responds quickly and we’re very agreeable in helping us with the issue. It’s a shame that we kitchen is in shambles for now. But once it’s repaired then it will 100% be a great place to stay.
- Rhiannon (3/5): Poor - Asked to check in early I was told 3pm no earlier. I expected no later but no we were an hour waiting for the key that was meant to be in the lock box. Another half an hour waiting for “someone coming” with the keys in “five mins” that was actually inside the apartment cleaning. The number given doesn’t actually get you anyone you need you have to text them on the app. Ridiculous service and no apology. Doors don’t lock shower is disgusting sink was blocked when we came into the apartment
- Jaykishan (9/5): Superb -
- Ana (1/5): Not recommended - Location The property is very old. Especially the floor downstairs (living room and kitchen). We did not want to set food on those parts at all. The heating and hot water kept turning off as the boiler had some sort of failure so I had to reset all the time. Bathroom very old and shower head not good. In general, very old property that would benefit from a full refurbishment if the intention is to rent to people that want to have a good stay in London. I would not recommend at all
- Muhammad (7/5): Good -
- Muhammad (2/5): Disappointing. - 3 spacious bedrooms 1.No heating for 3 hours.
Called them and had to call them again as was no response. Was then sent a video how to start the gas. This should have been explained before. I had kids with me who were freezing. Even when the boiler did work, it took 3 hours before we could be comfortable.
2. No tea bags, sugar provided.
3. Not enough pillows.
- Darren (9/5): Superb - Location
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte (7/5): Good -
- Youhanna (1/5): Bad -
- Victor (7/5): Good -
- Marcin (4/5): Disappointing - the apartment is in a bad condition, noisy area until late night,
- Akash (6/5): Pleasant - Bedrooms are quite good and equipped. The heater was not working, and the Balcony table was not okay. The living room carpet was not fitted. They just placed 2 sample carpet in the room. The bathroom sink is filled with some stuff, so the flow to drainage gets slow, and in between 5 people, they arranged 3x shower gel and shampoo and 1 soap.
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gillian-carlo (10/5): Great location and very spacious/large apartment with great value - Amazing apartment and great location!! Getting the keys were super easy and the host is very quick to respond. Apartment was very clean, very spacious and had a full kitchen and really nice living room. Bedrooms were big and toilets were great. Very spacious and good value for what we paid. Very close to Brick Lane (if you like thrift shops and indian food) and walkable to the Overground train. The stairs were very narrow and steep.
- Dominika (7/5): 3 double bedroom flat for cheap at walkable distance from the Tower Bridge - Convinient location, close to tube station. For a 3 bedroom flat with a kitchen and living room is very well priced. If a large group of friends or family staying for a long weekend in London and exploring the city from morning to evening, perfect for sleeping and lounging for a bit before sleep, you get what you pay for though. Good communication with the host, swift problem solving.
Would recomend for those who would prefer 3 separate bedrooms with double beds for cheap over a well decorated but much smaller place to stay, sleeping on the sofa. By all means it is not luxurious, the flat is OK, feels old but semi-modernised, could use plenty more touch and change in the future. The building is quite run down, and all the neighborhood is full of graffiti, a drastic and sudden change after the skyscraper district.
The livingroom could use another seating, so it actually could provide seating for 6, or enough for larger people of 5.
Check-in was not smooth. By my mistake of not paying the deposite in advance, I missed it among the spam of e-mails, it took almost 30 mins to get in, by calling the host to resolve it. I would prefer such messages through Booking, as it pops up instantly if something needs to be taken care of urgently, but it was my bad not noticing it.
Our electricity was cut during one night upon arriving home, as the meter runs on limited credit, and it run out all of a sudden. The problem was solved in minutes thankfully, but definitly took us by surprise.
It is really great that the host is quick to respond and fast to solve problems, but ideally should not have such problems to solve in the first place over a stay.
- Daan (10/5): Luxury flat - The hosts were very nice and the apartment was in a very convenient location of Brick Lane. I also liked the close proximity of Shoreditch Boxpark.
Kitchen was fully equipped with coffee maker & air fryer too.
I really recommend this accommodation. Needed more coffee pods.
- Claude (10/5): Luxury apartment, definitely coming again. - I really like the responsive of the host whenever I needed help. No baking tray
- Evbowe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (5/5): Not luxury - The location is excellent for Shoreditch and surrounding areas. The beds were clean and comfortable, good quality clean towels provided. It was very cheap for three people to stay. The apartment looks like student accommodation. In fact I’ve been in nicer student accommodation. I think the listing is misleading as my definition of luxury clearly differs from the landlords. The entranceway is a smelly staircase. Once inside everything feels like it needs a refresh. The private terrace is a tiny balcony with a door that doesn’t lock ( H&S requirement apparently!!). Ultimately it worked for us, you won’t find a cheaper 3 bed in that location but buyer beware, you get what you pay for. This isn’t luxury by any imagination.
- Roman (6/5): Good location, cheap apartment - Shoreditch is great Kitchen ist very old and needs refurbishment.
A first step would be 4 chairs in the kitchen and a dining table.
- Diana (7/5): Perfect for my family on London Marathon weekend - Good location and quiet Couple of doors didn’t close properly
- Stephanie (1/5): Dirty bathroom, dirty kitchen, unpleasant place to be - Convenient location for Brick Lane Was informed after booking that a £500 deposit would be necessary for a 1 night stay.
Arrived at agreed time to find no key in the key box.
Called number provided to be asked several times why I was calling, before having to stand outside with luggage and wait for call back to tell me that cleaning staff were still inside.
Staff member brought down key but would not leave for over 20 minutes. Then left their belongings and told us to leave the property doors open so they could come and collect their things later.
"Luxury" apartment is not how I would define this, please see pictures. Wiring hanging out of walls, filthy bathroom, lamps in bedrooms with no bulbs and not able to be plugged in even if they were. Balcony is a strip of concrete. Seating for 4 adults in the living room for an apartment that sleeps 6.
Property managers called partway through the night and offered a £50 refund for the lack of towels and toiletries, I felt unsafe given that staff were already coming in and out of the flat so didn't want to take the matter further while still in the property. Complained to booking dot com upon my return, supplied details and a lot of pictures, they have said there is nothing they can do and property are saying that this a is trivial matter and consider the £50 compensation. Please look at these pictures and decide for yourself if you'd like to spend hundreds of pounds to sleep here.
- Scott (8/5): Served us great for what it was needed for and is right on Brick Lane which was perfect for us. - The team were very helpful and the property was very well situated and good value for money. Also, when I clearly hadnt paid attention to the address the team were very patient and were also very quick to locate and post my headphones which I left at property after i'd gone. The shower wasnt great and bathroom overall could do with some TLC but I wasnt there for that so a small moan really.
- Morg (6/5): 1 night in London - Easy access, clean. Good communication. No heating, thermostat was broken and we were not informed of that before we got there.
Bathroom door sticks and is difficult to open from the inside.
- Shannon (8/5): Nice and comfortable - Good location and very nice comfy beds! Check in was easy and good communication with the owner.
- Heather (4/5): Property has been made to look far better in photos - Location is good House is in very poor condition
- Beata (7/5): Good location and spacious apartment however not luxury at all. - The location and the spaciousness of the flat was great. Free wifi and Netflix to entertain yourself when not in the city. The communication with the host is again fab, very responsive. It’s worn down and dated, would need a good refurbishing. I think to call it luxury apartment is a bit misleading. It was clean but I had the feeling of not being clean due to its worn down state. The mattress in our room was too soft, it’s a personal preference, though. We were six of us, it’s on us that we didn’t check the number of toilets, next time we would need one with two toilets- just a consideration for others.
- Amit (9/5): Superb - No toilet roll
- Nadia (10/5): Exceptional - I booked it on such short notice and was extremely happy with how attentive and how helpful the host was.
Extremely clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!
- Anonymous (10/5): Perfect - Nice and clean
