Guest Reviews
- German (10/5): Un paraíso para amigos o familias. - Lugar increible, vistas hermosas, servicios completos.

- Rebecca (10/5): Experience was more than I hoped for - I loved the architecture, the location, right on an isolated beach, the pool was amazing...absolutely coming back Cleaning services showed up a little earlier

- DK (7/5): The house and location were amazing, average service. - We loved the house, it has a beautiful interior, is right on the beach with an incredible view of the surfers, and has a spacious pool (though shared with other houses). Most of the amenities were great and the location is very special and quiet. I was quite surprised by the service. When the oven didn’t work, I reached out for help but didn’t receive a clear solution or follow up. Instead, I was told that hiring cooking staff was 'important to avoid issues in the kitchen' which felt a bit unreasonable given that the listing says guests can cook themselves and they asked me if we wanted this service or not. I don't really like when someone 'blames' my decision instead of coming up with a solution. Also I understand when there's staff around but when we were all in bed and someone cleans the poo in front of your bedroom at 7.00 in the morning feels not really private.

- Matthieu (5/5): Great place but unreliable people - beautiful house in a scenic setting we unfortunately discovered on arrival that builders hadn’t finished their work and would be working in the house during most part of our stay. After discussing this to the house manager, he committed to offer us 1 night free of charge for compensation… which we never received despite our many requests (direct or via booking)
- Art (10/5): Very relaxing stay. Highly recommended knowing that it is remote but doable based on the service. - We took a taxi from town bus stop to location. Realize it is 30 minutes outside of town! Met the manager to give us a quick overview. There were 5 of us. Three bedrooms. A couple took the front with a King bed. We took the middle room with a queen bed, and the daughter took the 3rd room. Each room had similar bathrooms with showers. The two secondary rooms had the queen bed and bunk beds for family's. There are no XOXO's around so the best approach for this property is to hire the staff for the 3 meals a day. We set with the manager and planned out 3 days of meals soon after arrival. Water is provided and the kitchen is fully stocked. They do the shopping for you. Even buying alcohol too. Two very nice locals prepared the breakfast and lunches for us on what times we requested. Then for the dinner they prepped things for us and all we had to do is pop it on the stove or oven if needed. Over the top fantastic service. Best value anywhere on any trip. We were two families meeting over Thanksgiving so we were so appreciative of this service. We took a beach walk each morning before breakfast and after dinner. Leo is the main taxi driver and can be arranged to and from town. He was wonderful. We went on a turtle release excursion about 20 minutes South. Our stay was 7 days and 4 of those days we went back into town. In the explanation it says a jacuzzi and private pool. Note the small pool looks like a jacuzzi but it isn't. This is the one outside of the rooms and is the private one. The main pool is shared which we didn't realize until after we came back from a beach walk and there were people in the pool. There are 3 other similar properties located next to each other. We only had one family come into the pool area on 2 separate locations. Other than that is was gorgeous and relaxing as one could get. We even had two vultures pop on in to get a drink of water.
- Gustavo (10/5): Everything you need in one place - It’s great for family and friends, it has everything you need. It’s a bit far from the tourist area but you won’t miss anything because this place is amazing
- Priscila (10/5): As seen on pics. Amazing. - Amazing architecture, amazing view. The cook, Lourdes was amazing. Like esting out in restaurants every day. Eva, who organized our stay, was available 24/7. The ocean is not for swimming. Waves are intense. So its not a kid friendly ocean. We swam, but one adult with one kid, and making sure we didnt get past our waist. Currents are rough
- Judith (9/5): Superb -
- Adrian (10/5): Perfect experience! Would stay there again anytime !! - Everything was great !! My family & I had such a great time at the house & were able to enjoy the property & its amenities to the max ! Would HIGHLY recommend this casa en la playa to ANYONE visiting Oaxaca & its beautiful beaches. The caretakers were such a pleasure to deal with. Eva was helpful in all things to do with house/recommendations & Mari was also SO HELPFUL with anything we needed during our stay !! 10/10 !!!! The drive on the road leading to the house gets pretty dark at night but it’s fine once you get acclimated to the area
