• Jutta (10/5): Absolut empfehlenswert! - Das gesamte Team, allen voran Bouchra und Abdoul haben keine Mühen gescheut, uns unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm und schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet mit Brot, Butter, Käse, Marmelade, Crepes, Pancakes, Kuchen und wechselndem Gebäck. Sowie O-Saft, Obstsalat, Honig und Caramelsoße, alles selbstgemacht. Auch die Uhrzeit war super flexibel, so dass es auch bei unserem Tagesausflug möglich war, schon morgens um 6 Uhr zu frühstücken. Das Abendessen im Riad ist ebenfalls absolut empfehlenswert! Auch beim Organisieren von Taxifahrten, Ausflügen, Massage (himmlisch! Im Riad 1 Stunde für 45€) und Reservierungen in Restaurants oder Besorgungen wurde uns vorbildlich geholfen. Das Riad ist unglaublich schön, sauber, sehr ruhig und man fühlt sich tatsächlich schon nach kurzer Zeit wie zuhause. Man kann nicht direkt mit dem Auto vor die Türe fahren, aber vom Taxistand aus sind es nur 2 Minuten Fussweg. Für Gäste, die vorher noch nie im außereuropäischen Ausland Urlaub gemacht haben, mag dieser kurze Fussweg durch enge Gassen etwas unheimlich anmuten, aber man wird von Abdoul abgeholt und wir fühlten uns immer sicher, auch im Riad selbst, wo 24 Std. immer jemand vor Ort ist. Und bereits am nächsten Tag fanden wir uns problemlos allein zurecht. Schon nach ca. 4 Minuten zu Fuss erreicht man bereits den Beginn der Souks. Die Pflanzen und der Pool hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, ob nur zum Füsse hineinhängen oder auch für ein erfrischendes Bad. (Achtung mit Kinder - ist 1,80m tief!). Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es gibt auch einen kleinen Aufenthaltsraum und natürlich gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten rund um den Pool. In der Nähe gibt es auch leckere Restaurants und kleine Lädchen. Wir waren absolut zufrieden und können dieses Riad mit seiner großen und herzlichen Gastfreundlichkeit jedem nur wärmsten empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

• Antje (10/5): Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis für alle Sinne – besser geht es nicht! - Tolles Frühstück und ein wunderbarer Service des Hauspersonals! Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und uns wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt! Ich habe meinen Geburtstag im Riad gefeiert und dort ein ganz tolles Abendessen in wunderbarem Ambiente mit Geburtstagstorte bekommen. Alles war sehr schön dekoriert und der Service war erstklassig, ein wunderschönes Erlebnis! Nichts, es war alles perfekt!

• Regina (10/5): Luxury & serenity in a great location - An oasis of calm and beauty in a great location in the Medina. Very tastefully decorated- the photos don’t do it justice. Heated pool. Open fireplace that was lit for us on chilly nights by the wonderful Abdoul - the night caretaker. Delicious dinner and assortment of snacks prepared for us by Bouchera - the amazing cook. Beautiful terrace to enjoy meals in the sunshine with birds tweeting and the call to prayer in the background- blissful. Nothing - maybe a little pricy but you get what you pay for.

• KUOCH (9/5): It was perfect for our family trip ! - Great hospitality. Aurelie was great to help us feel welcomed and to set up our excursion. The staff onsite was so welcoming and lovely, the chefs cooked amazing local foods.
• Fauzan (7/5): - At the first night, there was no water available in all the bathroom. This follows through during out stay for 2 nights. It's a shame because we really like this place.
• Jens (10/5): Für einen Familienurlaub oder eine kleine Gruppe wunderbar- es waren unsere beiden schönsten Nächte! - Wir wurden schon am Rand der Medina, beim Taxiausstieg persönlich abgeholt und herzlichst empfangen. Das Riad ist wunderschön, perfekt für eine kleine Gruppe von 6-8 Personen! Das Frühstück wurde auf dem Dach serviert, es war hervorragend. Dort gab es eine kleine Küche mit Gläsern, Kühlschrank etc. Nachts war ein Wächter im Haus. Alles war extrem sauber und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Getränke konnten auch im Haus jederzeit angefragt werden und wurden am Ende bar abgerechnet. Taxi, Transfer- alles wurde nach Absprache perfekt bereitet. Aufgepasst: Wir hatten über das Riad einen (sehr guten!) Stadtführer gebucht- für 25€ für einige Stunden- ein üblicher Preis. Zur Endabrechnung des Riad wurde er bezahlt- und erst hier erfuhren wir, dass dieser Preis pro Person galt- und das war eindeutig nicht abgesprochen und viel zu viel- wir waren zu 8 und haben 200€ gezahlt. Da das nur in bar ging, hatten wir zudem dann ein Bargeldproblem- das war schade!

• Jane (10/5): Stunning - Stunning! Just as beautiful as the pictures. Location perfect, near everything. Few minutes walk to the markets. Hidden away. It was so peaceful inside considering the chaos of the markets/roads outside. Spotlessly clean. Went with group of friends, Plenty of space to socialise there. Loved the rooftop and pool. Staff were amazing. Bouchra, Abdul and Rashida were great, very helpful and friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Arranged taxis and made sure we got in them safe and back safe. Had lunch one day at the Riad and this was lovely, we wished we’d done this more than once. Food was fresh and tasted amazing. Would love to go back. Nothing. Perfect 😍 NO reflection on the property but good for people to know. Transfers/taxis can’t pull up outside the Riad so drop you off couple of minutes away. We’d booked our own transfers prior to arriving. As soon as you get out the car men with carts unload your luggage without asking/ giving choice and take you to your Riad…as it’s not clear where to go/not well signed posted and then they obviously want money. Our man was very pushy about what he wanted and wasn’t happy with what we gave him. So please be aware! Also we believe we were scammed into believing one case had been left in the taxi. Another man went to ‘rescue ‘it telling us he knew the driver. Came back few minutes later with the case…again wanted money but more than what we offered. After this we were very aware of everyone!!

Het is fijn dat je deze mooi ingerichte riad met 4 kamers helemaal enkel voor je groep hebt. De heel vriendelijke staf van 3 zorgt ervoor dat alles kraaknet is en dat je heel lekker kan eten op de rooftop Niets
• Vanessa (10/5): - No se le puede sacar pegas, nos sentimos como en casa desde el primer momento. Se preocupan del más mínimo detalle y te solucionan cualquier inconveniente que pueda surgir en tu estancia. Adaptaron los desayunos típicos para una de las personas celíaca y nos prepararon los traslados al aeropuerto. Totalmente recomendable.

• Zenab (8/5): Good location - It was a lovely riad with a beautiful terrace and good breakfast. The staff were lovely especially Ahmed and Bouchra. They were very attentive and really nice, they became like family during our stay Each room was said to have djellabas. There were no djellabas in one of the rooms which the property accused me of taking. I was not happy about this as at first they were going to charge me for something I hadn’t taken and then charge the staff. They were not there in the first place

Aurélie and her team were incredibly kind and helpful in organizing everything we needed to make our stay perfect and our visit to the city easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We cannot wa - Having spent what felt like weeks researching (and dismissing) accommodation options for our party of 8, we came across Riad des Fragrances, and what a find! They were extremely responsive to any questions we had in advance of our stay and left us feeling confident that we would be well looked after. Our stay at Riad des Fragrances was incredible from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the door of the riad, we knew we were in for a treat. The riad is stunning and well maintained/clean, and exquisitely decorated and curated, with high-quality bedlinen, towels, glassware and tableware. And it smells divine all the time! As the riad has 4 bedrooms, it meant we had the whole riad to ourselves too, which made it even more special. The staff were ALL amazing – Abdoul, Bouchera and Rashida – and couldn’t have been more generous, polite and accommodating. The complimentary breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, and when we asked to have lunch at the riad one day it became possibly our most delicious meal of the whole trip. And a surprise birthday cake was such a treat on our final day. The riad is perfectly located and could walk almost everywhere (the souks, main square, Le Jardin Majorelle, etc), but when we needed taxis, they were promptly arranged for us. I would highly recommend this riad based on our experience. I really don’t think you will be disappointed. We cannot wait to come back! Not all the safes seemed to work, but as we were a group booking, we just shared the safes
• Amit (9/5): Highly recommend the Riad due the hosts and location. Morocco as a country is a wonderful place to visit as people are g - Hosts Buschra, Rachida and Abdel are exceptional. No amount of accolades will be enough for them. They are such nice human beings and always very helpful and accommodating. No tasks were a problem for them. Location was excellent and close to Katubia and various Souks. Pick up for all excursions was near Dar Moha restaurant which was literally 3mins walk from the Riad. Riad itself was very welcoming, refreshing and very well kept and spacious for a group of 8. Hot water was a bit patchy. If more than one person was taking shower then hot water supply was strained.
• Jonas (10/5): A really nice place to stay but the staff really made it exceptional! - The staff where really exceptional! Everything was very well taken care off and we were treated so well. All the breakfasts and the two dinners we had there where also of very high quality, better than most resturants we visited. The house is well maintained and equipped and the pool was just large and deep enough for our kids to swim a little and play around in. On the last day we had to pay for our dinner / drinks etc. and it could only be done with cash which was slighly annoying since it was hard to find an ATM where you could withdraw larger amounts.
• Khan (8/5): Beautiful Riad but Staff will Con You! - it is a stunning riad, very beautifully decorated and the location was good. the swimming pool was an added bonus for the children. All rooms were of a good size and had an en suite shower. The terrace is a gorgeous place to hang out in the evenings. Staff are very friendly. The mattresses are not comfortable. The breakfast was just ok. The dinner / lunch is very overpriced. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children and charged 100 euros for dinner which consisted of salad for starter, tagine for dinner and tart for dessert. children ate very little and the rest were eaten by staff. the in house massage was charged 45 euros for an hour massage wasn't great and for my children's massage of 20 minutes was also charged at the same rate which was a big con!! the transfers are charged at 250 dirhams which is a massive con! better to organise yourself and haggle the price. the staff will at every occasion try to pocket extra cash for themselves and appear sweet on the outside. BEWARE OF THIS. EVERYONE IS OUT TO CON YOU.

The staff was always ready to provide useful advice on what to see and do in the city, making our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. In summary, staying at this riad was a memorable experience. The combination of exceptional service, sublime cuisine, and a clean and well-organized environment made our vacation in Marrakech unforgettable. I can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an oasis of tranquility and beauty in the heart of the city. -

The staff is just extremely helpful and welcoming, helping us with any requests we had. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need, granting a very relaxing and comfortable holiday in Marrakech. The area is safe, even at night - plus, it’s very close to the main sights of the city. I’d definitely come back at some point! -
