- marcelo (9/5): - Nos encantó alojarnos allí. El personal, especialmente Renate nos facilitó todo lo necesario para llegar ya que la ubicación es bastante intrincada. En todo momento nos brindaron asesoramiento sobre horarios de Misa, paseos para hacer, etc. Realmente es un lugar muy confortable y con todas las necesidades resueltas. Los restaurantes o comercios cierran temprano de la nochecita.

Possibilità di rilassarsi sulla terrazza comune con una bellissima vista sulle montagne, la signora Renate gentilissima, la zona tranquilla e non trafficata per mese di luglio. Sicuramente ritorneremo. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, non abbiamo nessuna osservazione particolare da fare

- Taglietto (5/5): Dolomiti spettacolari ma location troppo lontana da tutto - Il Residence bello e curato. Il panorama bellissimo come il terrazzo della stanza. La lontananza da Bressanone e la strada di montagna per arrivare con 8 km di curve, decisamente impegnativa da fare più volte al giorno, va bene per chi scia sulle piste, non per scendere a Bressanone e dintorni. La stanza carina, strano non trovare le lenzuola ma solo il piumone appoggiato al letto. Il bollitore era presente con le tazze ma senza bustine di tè o zucchero e senza il servizio colazione un punto negativo. In bagno gli asciugamani erano durissimi.

- Daniela (10/5): - Der. Ausblick war ein absoluter Traum! Die Gasser‘s waren super nett! Frühstück war total ausreichend und sehr lecker. Die Liegen vom Nachbarbalkon hätten uns auch gut gefallen. Und ein Kühlschrank wäre perfekt gewesen. Aber es war auch so sehr schön.

- Jannes Sieck (8/5): - Wunderschöne Aussicht vom großen Balkon aus, dieser war auch überdacht. Interior des Zimmers eher alt, aber passt hervorragend zum Stil des Gebäudes und der Gegend. Die Gastgeberin ist extrem freundlich, hat gute Tipps für Ausflüge in der Nähe und konnte bei Fragen jederzeit aushelfen. Lage gut, direkt in Afers, nördlich von St. Ulrich. Zimmer ziemlich klein, gerade mit Koffern. Aber das hat nicht wirklich gestört, ansonsten alles wunderbar.

- Deirdre (8/5): Great value for money! - The views from the hotel were absolutely insane, so gorgeous. We were lucky enough to have a big balcony which had the best panoramic view! Comfortable beds, a great shower and it’s super clean. The host was very helpful and accommodating for anything we needed, it’s a beautiful hotel to take some time away from the busy spots, such value for money. If I was coming back to this area again, I’d definitely consider staying here, it’s stunning. The room is small, but we weren’t too bothered as we were only staying for two nights and had a car, so we were able to travel to get food as the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant. It would have been good to have a mini fridge in the room considering it’s so isolated. Also, be mindful that you need to book breakfast beforehand (€15 extra pp), especially if you’re hiking because there’s no where else to eat close by early in the morning.

Spacious parking lot. The hotel has a spa, which is free if you stay 4 nights or more. There is no info about this in their listing, so I was relying on previous comments that said it is free if staying 3 nights, which is how long we were staying. Alas, that has obviously changed. I asked about the price but the hostsess was not keen on providing more info. In general felt like the hostess was a bit uninterested and always in a rush.

- Michelle (8/5): Beautiful stay and beautiful views - Very cute hotel with great views of the mountains in a small town. Host is very attentive and friendly and helpful regarding local places to go / sights to see. There was a local bus pass / museum pass included which was very nice but unfortunately we were unable to use it. The combination of being in a tiny village in the shoulder season made us feel beholden to the car - there was no where open in town to eat or get a coffee and it was a 10 minute drive on windy roads to find an open restaurant. Going to / from the hotel felt a bit like a commitment for a few hours rather than being able to come and go. It worked for us for a couple of days, but it would have been nicer with a minifridge.

Sauna and hot tub need to be booked in advance and is not available if you stay under 3 days - except for a fee. Breakfast needs to be booked several days before your stay.

The owners and staff were pleasant and shared many things to do and see in the area. Lovely stay all around. Pillows on the bed could have been firmer. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.
- Denise (10/5): Absolutely exceeded all expectations, a little piece of paradise in the Dolomites. - Everything, the location was amazing and there were so many places to walk and catch a cable car onto the mountain. We actually left our car in the carpark and used the public transport which was all free using the Brixen card. The hotel itself was spotless and our room was so clean with a wonderful balcony with amazing views. The hotel manager was so helpful. There was an excellent restaurant in the village or we used to go to Plose and have a great meal there, you could also eat in Brixen with so many restaurants to choose from. We loved the peace and tranquility of staying in a little village as it was so relaxing and so quiet. At night you could hear a pin drop. Absolutely nothing, everything exceeded our expectations and we would love to return. 5 days was just not long enough.

- Matt (10/5): A perfect stay in the Dolomites - We stayed for a week at the Alpenhof and had a fantastic time. We had booked the small room which was perfect for our needs as we were out most of the day. The beds were comfortable and there was plentiful bedding and excellent water pressure in the shower. The view from our terrace was stunning and a joy to wake up to every day. Our host was friendly and kind and made us incredible comfortable. The room was cleaned excellently each day. TV had English language news channels (BBC World and Sky). The hotel is located about 17 mins drive out of Brixen and is well served by a bus route (that also allows you to get to a lot of Dolomites sites with ease), however the drive did initally feel a bit sketchy until we got used to it. These are high narrow roads with hairpins and some slightly squeamish dropoffs, however for the the beautiful location this was well worth it. We were located within about 60 - 90 mins drive of Seceda / Seiser Alm / Munkel-Weg so were able to see all the things we wanted with ease. Supremely good value for location and the peace and tranquility of the view - utterly beautiful. There are plentiful places to eat in Brixen (you may need to plan meals ahead a little as any places in the village of Afers itself shut early) and a fantastic Pizza place at the bottom station of the Plose Cable car. The Brixencard you get with your stay is brilliant - we got free trips in the Plose Cable car, free entry to the lovely Brixen Aquapark, and free entry to the Otzi the Iceman exhibit in Bolsano. Highly recommend staying at this gorgeous property if you get the chance.
